This 10-acre ranch was purchased as pasture land. Nothing had ever been built on it. Buffalo Gap is situated between the Callahan Divide where the Buffalo roamed in Taylor county. In Buffalo Gap, which has a population of less than 500, is a historic village that contains the original jail and courthouse for Taylor county, a train depot, school house, old gas station, newspaper office, a furnished historical home and other buildings and artifacts from the area. Restaurants include Perrini's Steakhouse, The Saloon, Lola's Mexican, The Bar B Que Barn, Duetchlanders Fish House, etc.  If needed, there are dog runs available for you to leave your dog/s while you are exploring the area. Once a month, year round, there is a Flea Market/Farmers Market in the middle of Buffalo Gap in an area of huge old Live Oak Trees. You can visit or rent space to sell your wares.  Look online to research Buffalo Gap, Texas. Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent or park your RV/bus anywhere on the property. Soil does become muddy red clay if it rains hard. Must watch the weather (rain) for this area. Usually a semi-arid climate. Lots of deer everywhere. No hunting. Just outside of Abilene, TX. State park is 5 miles away where you can hike, swim, fish, etc. Lake Abilene is by the state park. Buffalo Gap has a population of less than 500 people. Quaint.
