5D RANCH

25 sites · RVs, Tents400 acres · Navasota, Grimes
Welcome to 5D Ranch! We are so glad you are interested in visiting us. My name is Joee, my grandparents Eddie and Margaret Dyer have owned this property since 1960. It has been primarily used to raise cattle, and performance horses. However, over the years the horse and cattle side of the operation has dwindled down and we have been using the land to produce hay and for personal use of the trails for our family. A few years back we began talking about how we could utilize this place better and be able to share it with people! So we set out to work during the fall of 2015 and opened to the public in January 2016. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram for news, promos and giveaways! Just search for 5D Ranch Camp & Trails.

Sandhill Farms Tent Camping

1 site · RV13 acres · Hearne, Robertson
Learn more about this land:Come enjoy the serenity of central Texas where the loudest noises are the coyotes in the distance, the cicadas at night, the occasional donkey or cow calling their friends. We have over 30 fruit trees started and amazing areas to watch the sunset from our hill over the river bottom, the birds, or a few deer (if the weather is right and you are quiet enough). We also have true Texas Longhorns, probably the biggest/longest horns you have ever seen (they come from prize stock) but are gentle enough for you to hand feed (only allowed with help of hosts for your safety).

The Morris Manor and Retreat

7 sites · RVs, Tents25 acres · Madisonville, Madison
Our property is meant to be calming, fun and relaxing. Camping with class is what we like to say. We are constantly upgrading our areas and property to be safe and entertaining. Our pond is charming and the focal point of the camping adventure. We have a paddle boat and an electric john boat to toodle around in. Want to go fishing? The pond is stocked with bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill and perch. There is also a small island we call “Angel Island” that you can fish from or just sit on the deck with your favorite beverage and enjoy the view. There is a riding/walking trail that is approximately 0.7 miles in distance and basically encompasses the perimeter of the back area. Walking is common, bikes are welcome and small 4 wheelers are also welcome. No side by sides please. You won’t be over crowded here as we currently only have 7 total camping sites. However, we do have enough property to accommodate large parties, reunions or any other type of get-togethers. Come see us and enjoy time away from the fast paced city! You might hear the sounds of the coyotes yipping in the night or perhaps one of the great horned owls calling out from a big oak tree. You may also see some deer, rabbits, squirrels and even armadillos. We are rustic but classy. Time to get away and relax! ** Special note - We have a very nice fireworks show on the property above the pond on the 4th of July weekend that all campers are invited to enjoy.

Bahia Trails

17 sites · Tents6 acres · Plantersville, Grimes
**We are opening early to accommodate for Ren Fair and are still currently in the process of developing the campground, cleaning up the property, and working on the HipCamp listing. ** Located only 3.5 miles from The Texas Renaissance Festival, Bahia Trails Campground is a quiet, privately owned camping ground that is located deep within the Texas Piney Woods. Bahia Trails is centered on a total of 6 acres, roughly 200' wide by 900' long. Meandering across the back of the property lies a small creek, Deer Creek. Though this creek is shallow and does not always hold water, our guests are more than welcome to try their hand at fishing here for Bream. On clear nights our guests are able to enjoy Star Gazing. Since this location is located in a fairly rural area, there is no city water available. However, our water well system pulls water deep from within the Gulf Coast Aquifer supplying our toilets, sinks, and cold water rinsing shower. Glamm Camping

8 sites · RVs, Tents20 acres · Marquez, Leon
We have always enjoyed camping, scuba diving and travel... anything outdoors. We made a promise that If ever given the chance to share that joy with others we would and make it a great experience. We searched and searched  looked at a lot of properties North of the Woodlands,  to build our home. On a Saturday morning, my husband told me about a dream of 3 very tall and Magnificent Trees, soaring way up in the sky.  A few days later we were walking through the forest looking at a 20 acre tract of land for sale with our realtor, I'm thinking, "oh how would we ever get this cleared, this is a lot of work"  Then, up ahead was a clearing and right in the middle were 3 of the tallest, most magnificent Cedar trees. They were perfectly planted standing side by side. We both looked at each other and said," Oh this must be it". The rest is history. We purchased the land in 2015 and sold our home in The Woodlands in 2016... and began to build our dream.Learn more about this land:Perfect for outdoor weddings or reunions. There are rural campsites , Firepits allowed, lots of cedar & oak trees abundant wildlife. creek and walking/biking trails. electric and bathhouse avail.
