The property borders a small creek and has abundant trees, and wildlife. Beautiful views from every vantage with a high field on one half of the property and a low bottom land near the creek where there are many options for a relaxing, private stay. Chose big sky or a more secluded spot. Incredible wildflowers on display in the spring. The property is not bordered by close neighbors or dense housing, just more land so sunsets and rises are wonderful and open. Low ambient light pollution at night means the stars are very bright (and so are the fireflies)!

Our 100 acre heritage property has been in the family for over 150 years. Since 2017, we've been operating our land as a Vegan, Regenerative-Agriculture Farm & Animal Sanctuary. We currently have 2 dogs, 3 cats plus a herd of 31 Cows, 4 Potbelly Pigs and 2 Spanish Goats. The cows and pigs are all rescue animals so, where as they are adapted to humans being around them, they are very shy and petting them is not allowed. There are plenty of nooks and crannies to explore and gorgeous views of the Texas horizons....time your stay just right and you can stand directly between the sunset and the moonrise! We also have a hike-and-bike, nature trail that offers a 360 loop around the property.
We have a new construction Bath House on site for restroom needs w/ hot showers and composting potties plus a cold-water sink w/ non-potable water suited for washing produce, hands, dishes or camping gear.

Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. I brought my wife here for Valentine’s Day, and we both had an amazing time. The property where the campsite was, was beautiful and serene. It was just the type of environment that we needed to ground ourselves and find some peace. We stayed at Terrys camper site and words can’t described how comfortable, clean, and cozy the place was. The restrooms were very clean and taken care of. This was the best experience I’ve had camping/glamping. This was my wife’s first time going camping, since she’s a city girl, I was somewhat worried on the experience, but it’s safe to say that I won her over to the outdoor life. Thank you Bridget for hosting us. We will be back!

Eden East feels secluded and remote despite being walking distance from town - the perfect mix. Sonya and David were super friendly and helpful. Our toddler loved looking at the chickens and had space to run around. A very easy drive to Bastrop State Park for hiking. The farm fresh eggs were delicious and a real treat, and there’s a whole farm stand on weds and saturdays. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was super cute and the hosts Hollis & Beaux were so accommodating and delightful! Unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse and we had a 15mo old with us, and they kept us updated through the night of the upcoming weather issues of a freeze incoming and refunded us since it would be too cold to stay in a tent overnight.
We will definitely be back again in warmer weather!
