Hi Hip Campers! My husband and I are have always enjoyed camping and the outdoors, we love to explore, and had always hoped to be lucky enough to find a spot in the hill country to retire! In February 2017 we decided to attend the “Cowboy Mardi Gras” in Bandera, and found a great spot to camp on Lake Medina. My dad joined us on that trip and I think we all kind of fell in love with both the Medina river and Bandera! We started looking for property, and amazingly found this one on the river at the mouth of Lake Medina. It was beautiful and PERFECT! The cabin was already here, along with some very old RV hookups which we have since completely refurbished and updated. We have also added a vintage trailer named Stella and are currently working on our Barn apartment! All of our RV sites have lovely hill country views, our Cabin and riverside tent sites are on the lower level and have amazing shade from beautiful pecan/walnut,oak and cypress trees! We have 300+ feet of riverfront, so there is lots of places to spread out, and enjoy the crystal clear water. The Medina water level varies so sometimes we have a lake other times a creek, but we ALWAYS have water! We are dog friendly kid friendly and people friendly! Boulderdash and our guests continue to exceeded our expectations and this property has become a place full of fun memories, not only for ourselves but for whomever visits.

Amazing Camping Experience!
This is a beautiful place to camp, so quiet and pretty private. Bathroom and shower were a close walk, Carol-anne, Lyn, and Andrea were great hosts. Great customer service from start to finish. Their little store had everything you would need for an overnight. So nice to disconnect for a couple of days. The stars and moon were amazing. Picnic tables, firepit and grounds were clean and well maintained. We would stay again.

Wonderful stay!
Really enjoyed our stay here. The views from site one were awesome! Even though the river was dry, hiking the river bed was great!
