We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods.  In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! You’ll see us out and about on our golf carts. If you ever need anything just holler (: Check-in time is at 3 pm. The main level features a king-size bed, two sofa chairs, and a dining table with four chairs. A huge open window offers incredible views of the sunset and starlit sky. The loft provides a warm, cozy space with two sofa chairs that open into thick single-size mattresses and a soft foam floor. Additionally, two single-size beds are available upon request for extra guests. The kitchenette includes a microwave, refrigerator, Keurig coffee machine, and a cooktop with pots and pans. It is fully stocked with dining ware, glassware, and utensils for convenience. The dome is equipped with split-unit heating and cooling for year-round comfort, while an air vent at the top improves air circulation. A wood fireplace adds warmth and ambiance, and extra space heaters are available for colder nights. Your bathroom features a marble-top double vanity, a beautiful claw-foot tub, and a self-cleaning bidet toilet, with plush towels provided. Memmie’s Farm is a special 30 acres just outside of Bandera, TX on the Medina River! We hope bring love and energy to this beautiful piece of family property by opening it up to visitors who embrace the outdoors. At the designated tent camping sites, you will find oak groves that provide opportunities for shade. The RV sites are in a picturesque field that provides excellent views of the sunset. The field leads down to incredible cypress trees lining the Medina River. We also have a primitive camping area down by the river that requires you to park in a parking area and walk to your preferred camping spot. If you are looking for solitude and untouched nature, this is the place for you. The comforts of Bandera are conveniently only a 5 minute drive away. We are located less than 2 miles from Bandera City Park! At this time, all sites are completely dry. We do have porta-potties available. RV sites are boondocking only (no water or electric at this time.) Guests may stay at Memmie’s Farm for a maximum of 6 consecutive nights. Our slice of land on the Medina River is truly gorgeous! There are beautiful cypress trees that are magical year round, and there are often small rapids. If relaxing in the shade by the river and dipping your feet in is your thing, our property is perfect for that! However, this is not a swimming hole. The Medina River is generally not considered safe in Bandera, TX, due to consistent low flow. Swim at your own risk.

If you are planning a trip to see Big Bend or the surrounding area, or just looking to get away. Terlingua is an a perfect location to land and slow down. If you do pick Terlingua, there is no better place to stay than Temple of the Bird. Mike is an incredible person, and once you hear his unique story, you will understand why he is the perfect host. There are accommodations here for any traveler, which lends itself to meeting unique people and having a truly one of a kind experience.

Weekend Trip to Boulderdash Cabin & Camping

Had a wonderful time camping and playing in the river. We were the only ones in the tent camping area so it was very peaceful and felt like our own private riverside hideaway. The dog also loved the space and room to explore. The hosts were very communicative and sent a message daily to check we didnt need anything. It was very much appreciated. They also allowed us to borrow a tube to have some fun. A couple of notes for anyone visiting: tent campsites are down a hill which means they are very private but makes the walk to the showers some good morning exercise. Also you can't see the river from the campsite due to new growth trees. I personally preferred it. You can tell the hosts really care by all the small little extras. There was popcorn and flowers on the picnic table to make it feel special and the host was kind enough to meet us at 9:30 to show us around when we arrive. This is a definate favourite and we hope to be back.

This place is like an entire homey camping neighborhood renting out the entire camping neighborhood experience. The grounds were beautiful, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and it's situated right near tons of river activities. I stayed in a tiny home with my 5 year old, but we're trying the teepees next time!

My wife and I celebrated her bday here. We stayed in RV Slot 1 but also booked RV Slot 2 for more privacy after reading reviews. Glad we did because they are a little close together. Slot 1 is a little further from the house that is also a rental property. However the tent sites (Site 3 in particular) are all pretty private and have a much better view of the river. We would definitely book again just would get a tent site the next time. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The river is beautiful and the views are amazing..

Privacy and views make tent site 1 the crown jewel of the Dos Rios.

Had the primitive camping all to ourselves. Great spot right on the water with shade trees. Be aware it is walk in to sites. Unfortunately there was a ton of broken glass all over. There was an issue with reservation not being confirmed on Hipcamp and I had to call reservation line and it was a lot of back and forth/hard to get someone on the phone. Despite minor issues we enjoyed our camp immensely. Good location. Clean bathrooms.

The gorgeous, green/blue water of the Llano River is perfect for a quick dip to cool off, or in February, a refreshing way to start the day!

Great location! Very close to the lake. I had a blast paddle boarding. Sunsets are amazing. Kasitas are small but comfortable with the a/c. Took my pups and I was mindful of picking up their poop and keeping them on a leash. Only wish others had done the same. Other than that a 10/10!!!

The property is adorable and lush. The Den, the showers, the outdoor kitchen all bring an easy breezy vibe to the place. The A frames make it feel like a retreat away and it’s the perfect place for a solo overnight, a couples get away, or a trip with a group of friends. I didn’t try the cowboy pools or the sauna so I’m already making plans to return.

Weekend Trip to Boulderdash Cabin & Camping

I loved our weekend getaway at Boulderdash! Great views of the hill country on our way there. Loved spending time on the river it was running low but still enough to sit in and cool off. Our campsite #3 has plenty of room for 3 tents and parking for 2 cars with plenty of shade. Restrooms were clean and had an air conditioner a bonus! Carol-anne and Lyn are great host with any questions we had and the homemade sourdough bread is delicious. The river side campsite 1 and 2 were beautiful sites with lots of shade. We are looking forward to our next trip! Amazing place and our time there special.
