Built in the 80's by the Corps of Engineers, Paradise has been a mainstay of the lake for many years. Recently, the current management team are working to grow Paradise into something special. With a huge focus on community and culture, Paradise has tons of space for people to come together and enjoy the company and also areas to wander off and find a quiet lakeside spot to relax. You'll also be able to catch one of the best breathtaking sunsets on the lake! The wildlife we have on the property is amazing! I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos! We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods.  In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! You’ll see us out and about on our golf carts. If you ever need anything just holler (: Check-in time is at 3 pm. We are located less than 2 miles from Bandera City Park! At this time, all sites are completely dry. We do have porta-potties available. RV sites are boondocking only (no water or electric at this time.) Guests may stay at Memmie’s Farm for a maximum of 6 consecutive nights. Our slice of land on the Medina River is truly gorgeous! There are beautiful cypress trees that are magical year round, and there are often small rapids. If relaxing in the shade by the river and dipping your feet in is your thing, our property is perfect for that! However, this is not a swimming hole. The Medina River is generally not considered safe in Bandera, TX, due to consistent low flow. Swim at your own risk.

Observe quiet time after 9 pm and before 8 am. The country roads in this area are paved and they are excellent for walking, bicycling and driving. There are “cattle guards” in the roadways. Cattle guards are steel pipe obstacles along a road intended to prevent livestock, such as sheep and cattle from passing out of a fenced area. If you book this property you will be able to check yourself in at the property. Located just 10 miles North of Downtown Montgomery on FM149 (23510 Martha Williams Road). We have 5.5 Acres that backs up to the Lone Star Hiking Trail in the Sam Houston National Forest. Our Campsites are set up along the LSHT between Trailhead 3 and 4, in the Pole Creek trail area. We have 7 campsites and 1 cabin that sleeps 4. The campsites all have fire pits. I had really pleasant conversation with the host, thank you Linda! I will be back whenever I'm through. Andy, the protector dog, slept outside my tent all night. I had a great time with my dogs here! Check-in was a breeze, and Carol-anne met me to let me know about the amenities. We loved the spot which was overlooking the river, and you can see the sunrise over the hills as well! One thing that was really convenient was having a sink with potable water at the site to wash dishes. We also took the chance to explore Hill Country State Natural Area which was not far away. Looking forward to a return trip!

wonderful spot with wonderful people! met 2 other fellow campers who were friendly. No water hook ups currently, but we were full so no issue. Electrical worked great and some amazing walking areas! the hosts were responsive and we were able to get to the store ... plenty of shirts and hats to purchase and the meat was EXCELLENT (please note - the meat was frozen, but worth the thawing wait). and remember, if you meet the cows, "Moo" means NO! Also, be aware there are thorns and burrs that you will find if you are not careful... welcome to the outdoors! Had a great time, hope to stop back soon and best of luck!

Bridget is very responsive and friendly, and her property is absolutely beautiful! This site is right on the water, while the others are tucked back among the trees. We loved being right on the river, and having the cows on the neighboring property was a fun added bonus! The two toilets, shower, and dishwashing area are wonderful amenities to make your stay more comfortable. The property is secluded, peaceful, and a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. We loved every minute of our stay and would definitely come back!

Beautiful ranch just 5 miles off the highway. We stayed in a 30 amp RV site with our 32ft motorhome. Ground was well packed so driving was easy. My daughter loved being able to walk up to the horses! The cows and horses roam in the same field you’re parked in, so watch out for poop piles. The views were incredible, sunrise and sunset! Just was very responsive and helpful to a couple issues we had with the site and our vehicle. Over all we were very happy with this location!

We boondocked in our RV. It was a great location between Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock. There appeared to be a wedding venue down the street and they were having a wedding one of the nights. We could hear their music which was enjoyable so it just added to the experience. We felt secluded and off the beaten path. There are three sites on the property, but we were the only ones staying there (Labor Day weekend). I would definitely recommend it if you don’t need hookups.

Great place for families! We tent camped and floated in the river (not too deep and not too shallow.. just perfect!) HEB didn’t have firewood but they had it on site to purchase along with tubes, kayaks, etc. the bathrooms and showers were very nice! Great location to camp for all!

We loved our stay at Sparrow Bend! The river is beautiful and our kids had a blast swimming and jumping off rocks. We were there for a holiday weekend and still had the river to ourselves for much of the time. I will say the RV spots are really close together and probably should only be one spot. Our friends we traveled with had the other RV site so it was great for us but would be a little too close for comfort if a stranger was there. There’s also only one picnic table and one fire ring for the two sites. Site one’s water spigot is located on the house directly next to it which also felt a little awkward to me. Those are my only complaints! Everything else was wonderful. Clean bathrooms and outdoor showers and a place to wash dishes. We will definitely be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We are truly grateful for such a wonderful stay! ❤️ We visited last Saturday, and unfortunately, the rain came down quite heavily. We were a little worried that the weather might ruin our family camping experience, but our amazing host went above and beyond and generously allowed us to upgrade our booking to a cabin. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us. Instead of worrying about the rain, we were able to relax, stay warm and comfortable, and simply enjoy precious time together as a family. 🥰 Thank you so much for your kindness, understanding, and hospitality.
