We are sharing our family camping spot with your family. Please bring all of your own supplies and pack out all trash when you leave. This is a very natural outdoor space where families can get away and enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, canoeing, and kayaking along the Brazos River. There is plenty of room for both campers and tents. An outhouse is located near the camping area, and a flush toilet is available a few hundred feet away. The river is approximately 300 feet from the edge of our property, so expect to do some walking! IMPORTANT: The grassy driveway leading down to the camping area is very bumpy. Please drive VERY SLOWLY to avoid frustration and potential damage to your vehicle. You're at the river—slow down, relax, and enjoy the outdoors. This property is not suitable for large, heavy Class A motorhomes or fifth-wheel trailers. The sandy soil can cause vehicles to become stuck. There is a large gravel bar before the river's waterline. Please do not drive onto the gravel bar. This is Brazos River land, and conditions can change quickly. If you prefer, you may set up a tent and camp closer to the river. The gravel bar area is public land. Activities • Canoeing • Fishing • Kayaking The Granbury Dam is approximately 20 miles upstream, and Highway 67 is about 20 miles downstream. We have paddled both stretches in a single day many times, but trips can be long and slow when water levels are low and temperatures are high. Please come prepared. Water levels can rise quickly due to rainfall or releases from Granbury Dam. Always be aware of changing river conditions. The entire lower camping area has flooded many times in the past, so use caution and avoid setting up in low-lying areas when rising water is possible.

Paradise on Lake Texoma (formerly Paradise Cove) is a beautiful, secluded commercial campground located in the "Big Mineral Arm'' of Lake Texoma. Built in the 80's by the Corps of Engineers, Paradise has been a mainstay of the lake for many years. Recently, the current management team are working to grow Paradise into something special. With a huge focus on community and culture, Paradise has tons of space for people to come together and enjoy the company and also areas to wander off and find a quiet lakeside spot to relax. You'll also be able to catch one of the best breathtaking sunsets on the lake! The wildlife we have on the property is amazing! I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos! We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods.  In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! You’ll see us out and about on our golf carts. If you ever need anything just holler (: Check-in time is at 3 pm. . These are unique camping spots along the Guadalupe River. I didn’t exactly understand how unique until I started getting feedback from my campers. The surrounding scenery will lower your blood pressure and do wonders to let you reconnect with nature. Sit back and close your eyes late in the evening and listen to all the wildlife talking to each other. There is faint traffic noise from 90A about a 1/3 of a mile away but it calms down after 7 or so. Currently no amenities but I am in the plans for some portable bathrooms. Please be prepared to cover all your bathroom and cooking needs. I do have some good clean well water from a faucet on the way into the campgrounds. Campfires are permitted. There is a convenience store (Diamond A) with clean bathrooms and a great bbq just 5 miles to the west on 90A and a Walmart and HEB 10 miles to the east on 90A. (Both Diamond A and Walmart sell fishing licenses if you need one. Dogs are allowed at sites 3 and 4 but not at 1 or 2 where my livestock guardian dogs have access to. No matter the size or temperament of your pets you are always expected to have them under your control at ALL times. I have very small livestock in the area frequently I am almost always on the property and try to have my phone with me while campers are on site, just let me know what you need and I will do what I can to accommodate you. Nestled between the Gulf of America and the Intracoastal Waterway, Sargent Island was developed in the 1950s and remains a quiet coastal community. We consider Sargent an oasis away from the crowds and congestion of other beach destinations. We love escaping our busy lives to listen to the waves crashing along the shore, and we think you'll love it too. This privately owned 8,000 sq. ft. beachfront lot is located on a barrier island in Sargent, TX. It offers a neighborhood setting with a secluded, unobstructed view of the Gulf. The property features an approximately 30' x 30' gravel pad and a long driveway. While the property is beachfront, direct access to the dune area and beach may not always be available due to tides, rainfall, storms, or beach erosion. Public beach access is located about 1/4 mile down the road. Please note this is a subdivision, and there is a neighboring home on the right side of the property. This site is intended for RVs and wheeled campers only. It is best suited for small to midsize RVs. Ground tents are not permitted due to local wildlife, although elevated vehicle-mounted tents are welcome. The property is still being developed. We currently provide electricity (110V, 30-amp, and 50-amp service) and water, but there is NO sewer or septic system. Guests must bring their own toilet facilities and remove all waste upon departure. Public restrooms and trash disposal are available approximately 1.5 miles away. A picnic table, clothesline, and shade canopy are typically provided, but availability may vary due to storms and high winds. If you enjoy quiet surroundings, open space, and uncrowded beaches, Sargent is the perfect getaway. ISLAND LIFE NOTE: This is the Texas Gulf Coast, and mosquitoes can be abundant. Please bring insect repellent, as we cannot guarantee a bug-free experience. This property is subject to changing coastal conditions. The property was awesome. Enough space to angle our 21' RV so that we had a view of the ocean from all three rear windows.... The million dollar view for twenty dollars.... 😉👌. Mosquitos were not as bad as we were warned about... the wind helped a lot with that. We realized when we got there how nice it was that we decided to stay a 2nd night. I nice little gem on the coast, like finding a a cool seashell on the beach.

My wife and I celebrated her bday here. We stayed in RV Slot 1 but also booked RV Slot 2 for more privacy after reading reviews. Glad we did because they are a little close together. Slot 1 is a little further from the house that is also a rental property. However the tent sites (Site 3 in particular) are all pretty private and have a much better view of the river. We would definitely book again just would get a tent site the next time. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The river is beautiful and the views are amazing..

Had the primitive camping all to ourselves. Great spot right on the water with shade trees. Be aware it is walk in to sites. Unfortunately there was a ton of broken glass all over. There was an issue with reservation not being confirmed on Hipcamp and I had to call reservation line and it was a lot of back and forth/hard to get someone on the phone. Despite minor issues we enjoyed our camp immensely. Good location. Clean bathrooms.

Camp Nadur was exactly what we wanted! Easy to get to, right on the water. Everything you need, and Emily was a very communicative and helpful host! highly recommended

Staff was stellar and super accommodating, grounds where green and all sites circle the large pond, we saw lots of birds and friendly ducks wandering through sites, even a little gater walking across the street. Bathroom and showers were spacious and clean and there are laundry facilities as well. Also great to have full hookups and not wait in line at a dump station. I was in a trailer but saw tent campers that looked quite happy. I really loved that these are green sites with green grass, not your typical cement parking lot full of rv’s. I will definitely be back!

2 nights at Sparrow Bend River Retreat

When we arrived, we realized Forest 1 was too small for our 10-person tent. We called, and they moved us right away to beach 4. We were closer to the river. Everything was really clean and well-maintained. We were in the river from 10 AM until 5:30 PM, minus restroom breaks. The kids had a blast stargazing and at the campfire. We look forward to coming back at some point. As a family with four small children, we found it really comforting to see other families enjoying the spaces as well. When we got back home, we were informed that it was the best camping trip of their lives and asked when we could go back.
