Great spot that backed up right to the river! Great hosts that were attentive but not overbearing! Very quiet our only drawback was that internet and cell service was spotty. Had a wonderful time overall!!!

The Dollhouse
Our Wonderful New Years Stay
We loved our stay at Amy's Dollhouse! Our party was two adults and two pups and we fit comfortably inside of the cabin. It is a small space overall, but between the upstairs and downstairs portions of the cabin we were able to make room of our gear. There is plenty of room to stretch your legs outside of the cabin as well. The host has a wonderful site where numerous rentals are present, but not so close as to feel like you are too close to one another. We throughly enjoyed our stay through the New Years here, it was our small getaway from the DFW metroplex and offered us a chance to enjoy the outdoors at an affordable price. While there we had the chance to visit their bait shop as well as walk the river along the sandbar. When the day was over we would keep a fire going, they also had firewood available to purchase should you not have any to bring. Overall a wonderful experience, we will be back for another visit. :-)

A cozy stay
The house was so cute and had a loving, homey feel. Everyone was friendly and very sweet. The directions are very clear. Amy was very accommodating! Mark and Janice were helpful and made us feel at home. The place has very little traffic and though there are a few campsites around, it was very quiet and peaceful. I can't wait to come back when the river is full. The first floor is a little short so if you're tall, you may want to stay on the second floor.

Relaxing Stay at Gypsy Moon!
Enjoyed our stay despite the rain! Our RV site backed up to the sandbar and river. Right next door was a pavilion with grills, patio furniture and a hammock. Amy has RV sites, cabins and tent sites. Rain curtailed some of our outdoor activities, but it was a nice relaxing stay! We will be back next summer!

Great little getaway spot near the DFW area. Access to river and plenty of foliage. Fire pits and picnic tables are provided and a welcome addition.

Such a beautiful spot to take our family! Amy was extremely helpful and brought us veggies from her garden while we were setting up and they helped us get our fire started! Our campsite backed up to the river which made for a beautiful sunset! We will absolutely be back!

Neat place. Has some cool campsites amd was perfect for what I was looking for with the little kids. If you're looking for secluded, this might not be thr place for you as there are neighbors, dogs in the distance, truck noises, etc.

The Dollhouse
A good friend of mine and her husband stayed here a few weeks ago and shared some pictures. I asked her where this place was and wouldn't you know it this piece of heaven (little gem) is only a short drive from our home. To have a place to get away from it all is so nice. We stayed in the dollhouse and it was wonderful and met our needs. It is clean and furnished with everything you need. They have a bait shop with live bait, snacks, drinks and ice. I love that it is right on the river. They also have a pavilio that is available for all guess to use with grills and seating. It's so nice getting out in nature and especially getting to see wildlife up so close. Got to see plenty of deer during our sray.They have tubes for tubing and kayak rentals. We brought our own kayaks and had a great time on the river. stayed. Janice and Mark are so nice and made our stay very pleasant. We will definitely be back and we found another beautiful place to add to our camping trips. Thank you Gypsy Moon for an amazing time. Shanda and Eddie 11 /4 through 11/6/2022

Amy's super friendly. Great host. I would definitely recommend this camp ground for that real in the woods feel. I stayed one night due to rain that would have made it impossible to pack up in the morning. wish I could have stayed 2 nights. Will definitely be going again. Thanks Amy!!

Full hookup on the river!
Full service RV camping right on the river! Loved having a full hookup in the middle of a beautiful area. The river view was so peaceful. Lots of wildlife. Beautiful sunsets. This was the perfect spot for us to stay to run a Spartan race in Granbury. Host was very nice and accommodating.

Beautiful Brazos Living!
This place was perfect! It is located right on the Brazos river. The campsites were very cute and very kept up. Amy was a sweetheart and very accommodating. They have bait, ice, Firewood and plenty of other things that you might need for a camping trip. The place was very quiet and welcoming. There was just a great feel to this place!
We watched shooting stars all night from our site!
My son caught his first fish here too!
I highly recommend this amazing piece of Heaven!

Site 4 - Gypsy Moon RV Park
Great hospitality, little privacy
Overall it was a really nice weekend, we got a campsite right next to the water with a mini pavilion which had great views! The owners were great - very friendly, checked on us to make sure we had what we needed. Someone even lent us a can opener because we forgot ours. While flush toilets and showers would be an amazing addition, we found the portapotty to be pretty clean overall. The only real drawback was the proximity of the campsites/lack of privacy. We were okay on the first day, but on the second day a family parked in the spot opposite of ours, and it felt a little cramped, especially when they were playing under the public pavilion, putting them only 15 feet or so from our site. Next time we would probably opt for a site further from the water so we could be spread out a little more. Lots of great wildlife spottings - we saw deer, geese, lots of birds, and even an armadillo! One other thing to note, and I think this will be a temporary problem, there was a sticky resin in the leaves on the ground that made them cling to our dogs’ fur pretty bad. Nothing to be done about it (yay, nature), but if you have a dog with long fur maybe get them groomed close before you go, or double check with the owners to see if it’s still happening. In all, a good experience, just would have liked the sites a little more spaced and it would have been near perfect!

I liked staying in the dollhouse bc it was cozy and had all the necessary amenities of home. It was not as secluded as I thought it would be but the community is so incredibly nice I couldn't have asked for better Neighbors.

Primitive Camping - Recommend!
We loved our experience tent camping here! Amy was a warm host, the campground had a variety of landscape and it was a great place to play with young children. Access to the river was easy as well. 11/10 would recommend!

This is a hidden gem! Nice and quiet, lots of shade trees and plenty of room to roam. You can walk a few feet and are at the river. Amy was there to meet us when we arrived. She and Mark we’re so helpful with navigating into our site that was difficult to back in. They accommodated by making a pull through for us. We will definitely visit here again!

Gypsy Moon Hideaway Primitive Camp
This is an amazing primitive camp site. If you go you must stay on the point. It overlooks the River for beautiful sunset in the evening. BE AWARE THERE IS LITTLE TO NO CELL SERVICE ON THE POINT…. It is primitive and has lots of options for fishing kayaking or even tubing…….
