Memmie’s Farm is a special 30 acres just outside of Bandera, TX on the Medina River! We hope bring love and energy to this beautiful piece of family property by opening it up to visitors who embrace the outdoors. At the designated tent camping sites, you will find oak groves that provide opportunities for shade. The RV sites are in a picturesque field that provides excellent views of the sunset. The field leads down to incredible cypress trees lining the Medina River. We also have a primitive camping area down by the river that requires you to park in a parking area and walk to your preferred camping spot. If you are looking for solitude and untouched nature, this is the place for you. The comforts of Bandera are conveniently only a 5 minute drive away. We are located less than 2 miles from Bandera City Park! At this time, all sites are completely dry. We do have porta-potties available. RV sites are boondocking only (no water or electric at this time.) Guests may stay at Memmie’s Farm for a maximum of 6 consecutive nights. Our slice of land on the Medina River is truly gorgeous! There are beautiful cypress trees that are magical year round, and there are often small rapids. If relaxing in the shade by the river and dipping your feet in is your thing, our property is perfect for that! However, this is not a swimming hole. The Medina River is generally not considered safe in Bandera, TX, due to consistent low flow. Swim at your own risk.

The Oak Grove

This huge campsite is our premier campsite! If you are looking for privacy and shade, this is the spot for you! There are no campsites near you and the entire campsite is under a grove of trees providing uninterrupted shade! You will also have 30 additional acres to explore. You will need to bring your own tent(s). We do no provide water or firewood. Porta-potties are available for use, about 3-5min walk away. The river is about 5-7 minutes walking distance, or you may drive park a bit closer. During dry conditions, the road to this campsite and the river is accessible to all vehicles. During rainy (or recent rainy) conditions, the road to the campsite and the river requires 4WD. During these conditions, 2WD vehicles would need to park a few minutes all from the campsite. Please plan accordingly. Reach out to your host with any questions! :) You may park up to 5 vehicles at your site. If additional parking is needed, we have nearby overflow parking on-site.

The site can accommodate up to 5 additional tent camping guests. !!Located along the Medina River on 30 acres less than 2 miles from downtown Bandera!! The natural setting has everything from gorgeous oak groves to open fields to the magic of the cypress trees along the river. If you are looking for solitude and untouched nature, this is the place for you. The restaurants, bars and live music of Bandera are only a 5 minute drive away. Your camper trailer comes with all of the following features. This is an off grid setup. 2 full tanks of propane (for furnace, water heater and dual camp stove in the kitchen) A generator with full tank for use of appliances and electrical outlets. (A full tank allows for 7 hours of run time.) Use of overhead lights runs off of a battery, so generator is not required just for lighting. 30 gallons of fresh water in fresh water tank (Grey and black water will be emptied prior to your arrival) Dinette than can convert into a couch/second bed (Let your host know if you would like it converted into a couch ahead of time. This is my second stay here. The first time was only one evening and just not long enough. This time I brought my pup and stayed 2 nights!!! It was beautiful! Despite a major drop in temperature due to a texas cold front, like 90 to 30 degrees i mean.... we managed to stay comfortable in all conditions! Ellie was so helpful with all my questions. Pup loved it. The 10 minute walk to the river was worth every step! Deer everywhere. Clean and cute. Will book agian..

Needed a last minute stop on a road trip and got a spot here. We arrived near sundown and had to leave at sunrise so we didn’t get to explore the river. The site was perfect for our rooftop tent setup mounted over a truck bed. There was some road noise from a nearby highway but it slowed way down by bedtime and was not a problem. The best part was Ellie’s proactive communication. She texted us right after our booking, sent clear directions, and checked on us after arrival. We had zero problems.

I love camping here its a nice outdoor home away from home. Was able to take my dog out this time and we had a great night. Word of caution, something that can't be helped is noisy neighbors so just know that.

This campground is awesome! It is very peaceful and well kept in an area that is near a river so there is plenty of room to fish. It is also the perfect campground to view the sunrise and sunset. Ellie is an awesome host!

We had a great time at a great spot near the river! It is also close to nearby attractions in Bandera and the Hill Country State Natural area is only 10 minutes away! Ellie was extremely responsive and accommodating! Can’t wait to go back!

We loved staying at Memmie’s Farm! This was our tenth or eleventh Hipcamp stay and we had a sweet experience celebrating my partner's bday on the property. Ellie showed us around when we arrived to get a lay of the land. We ended up choosing a "dispersed campsite" on the property for better privacy and open space that is not listed at the time of booking. Thanks Ellie for letting us camp in that area. We didn't mind the traffic and music playing at night. The property sits adjacent to neighboring homes which might be a subdivision. We hear some barking too at night but it didn't bother us. The big treat for us was the river/creek which was flowing nicely with its interesting features on 1/3/26 perfect for exploration with the kiddo. The trees by the river are great for a hammock tent. The campsites listed by the river has land that is a bit wavy which might make it a challenge if you're setting up a ground tent. If you have a rooftop tent or camper book both campsites by the river because they are side by side. Different strokes for different folks, but I think it might be worth noting all the campsites listed are pretty close to each other so you'll see and hear other campers during your stay. The Rebecca camper looked really cute. We would like to come back to enjoy the riverbank which we think was the highlight of our trip. There was a pool feature with enough water to sit waist deep in and the views were nice. The river is great for a little photoshoot as well.

We had a wonderful time calling Ellie’s place “home” for a night. With all the comforts at your fingertips, the travel trailer worked perfect for our NYE visit. We will definitely return to Bandera soon, and will absolutely look to rent with Ellie Again.

Ellie is the best host! Very responsive and friendly. The property is beautiful - classic Hill Country river and landscape, and we were happy to see beautiful deer during our visit! The RV has a very comfortable bed and the heater kept us nice and warm during a chilly weekend. Highly recommend!

This was our first experience in a camper and we loooooved it. The camper side was super clean and spacious. Ms. Ellie communication skills were top notch 👌, she took the time to explain how everything worked in the camper with a Big smile 😀. We love and enjoyed the river, which it was walking distance. I can't wait for our next trip.

We had a lovely time staying at Memmie's Farm. The sites were easy to find. We booked The Canopy, but Ellie let us spread out to the Eclipse which had a beautiful area to stargaze and bask under October's gorgeous Harvest Moon. Plenty of shade and breeze, picnic tables are a great amenity. Walking down to the river was nice, the primitive sites down there looked promising - on the list next time for sure!

The beautiful cypress tree on the waters edge was breathtaking. My young grandbabies had a blast playing in the water and we were pulling up rocks from bottom, i pulled up an arrow head worn but nice. I was afraid after the flooding there would be a bit of debris. It was nice and very comfortable and very clean. I would definitely recommend this place to others and im happy to say I will be booking another trip

2nd time out and I still love it, such a nice area and love being able to walk and play in the river with my kiddo. Had my mother in law along with us this time and had a chance to be in the bigger camper. We had some car trouble and were delayed but Ellie was very understanding and so helpful when we arrived, she spent time teaching us what we needed to know about the camper for the most comfortable stay! Thank you Ellie!!!

I booked for The Canopy location but Ellie saw that it was already getting crowded with other campers and said she moved me for The Colorado, she did great with communicating this listening to my needs/wants and still giving me the option to be at the The Canopy if I wished. It was def the better choice to be at the Colorado the little and I, we felt a good distance from prying eyes. I loved the space and we were able to string up two hammocks for hammock camping. I loved that the river is a short walk away and that the toilet was right across our campsite for easy access! We made a fire and saw plenty of deer which made my little very happy. Hope to come back soon!!! The Colorado is my spot!!!

The Riverside
We stayed at the Riverside spot and it was awesome ! Had some next door campers but with plenty of space between for privacy . The walk towards the river was awesome . It had rained a couple of days before so it was moving lightly , nothing to crazy ! They do have other neighbors near by but at a distance . Plenty of space and quiet. Will say for thise spots out close to the river; if it rains for a bit , could get a bit muddy in certain spots ,but most of it was very short thin grassy spots mixed with dirt .

The Medina
The two camping sites near the river (Medina and Riverside) were perfect for our group! Ellie’s property was lovely, secluded, and peaceful. Lots of deer, and hummingbirds! A short walking distance from the river, which was flowing great. It was wonderful to have the clean, well-kept outhouse for our 4 day visit, along with blocks for our fire and a trash barrel. Ellie was very friendly, respectful of our space, and attentive- with very clear instructions. We will be visiting again! Thank you Memmie’s Farm!

We love this place, it's close enough to town if you forget something but still a very relaxing stay. Ellie is a wonderful host. We've had 2 great camping experience here. It was a beautiful, peaceful spot. Highly recommend! Oh and the river is nice too.

Ellie was super nice to work with! The property is right outside Bandera, So it’s easily accessible. It’s beautiful land! The campsites are a short walk through the woods to the river (from the photos I mistakenly thought the sites were literally a few feet from the water- not a big deal, Just FYI). I had a great weekend and look forward to going back!

This was a quick get away for the wife and I. This place did not disappoint in anyway. We enjoyed the river, watching the firefly's, and the deer. Ellie was super helpful and very accommodating. Will defiantly be back!!
