Memmie’s Farm is a special 30 acres just outside of Bandera, TX on the Medina River! We hope bring love and energy to this beautiful piece of family property by opening it up to visitors who embrace the outdoors. At the designated tent camping sites, you will find oak groves that provide opportunities for shade. The RV sites are in a picturesque field that provides excellent views of the sunset. The field leads down to incredible cypress trees lining the Medina River. We also have a primitive camping area down by the river that requires you to park in a parking area and walk to you preferred camping spot. If you are looking for solitude and untouched nature, this is the place for you. The comforts of Bandera are conveniently only a 5 minute drive away. We are located less than 2 miles from Bandera City Park! At this time, all sites are completely dry. We do have porta-potties available. RV sites are boondocking only (no water or electric at this time.)

Memmie's Farm - AMAZING!
Memmie's Farm provided an enchanting haven amidst nature's embrace during the solar eclipse. Nestled in Banderas, this campsite offered both comfort and adventure with well-maintained grounds and friendly staff. Surrounded by picturesque landscapes, it offered the perfect vantage point for witnessing the cosmic dance of the eclipse. Additionally, Memmie's Farm boasts great river access, adding an extra dimension of natural beauty to the experience. From the awe-inspiring views to the sense of community around the campfire, every moment was imbued with magic and wonder. Memmie's Farm promises an unforgettable adventure, making it the ideal destination for those seeking to connect with nature and witness celestial marvels.

Head on out to the Farm!
I just love staying at Memmie’s Farm! The land is close to town but feels far away. The walk down to the River is so nice. There’s an old Oak Grove on the way and Big Cypress down by the water. Last weekend was my third trip to the Farm the wildflowers were really showing off as the host Ellie says. Ellie is kind and attentive. Her assistant Timothy is helpful and funny. I know they accommodated some folks when another camper cancelled and they wanted to spread out and move. The porta potties were clean. It’s just an all around beautiful hill country setting with more privacy than a public park.

We had a great time exploring Memmie’s Farm, it is a beautiful location and is nice and spread out. There are plenty of trees and pathways though the woods that my boys liked to explore. We brought the whole family and everyone had a good time. The kids loved the river! Thanks again Ellie!

Primitive Camping #1
Very peaceful and relaxing location
I really enjoyed my stay at Memmie's Farm! Ellie was a fantastic host with great communication before and throughout our visit. While I did reserve the Primitive Campsite #1, I actually did not stay at that campsite. It turns out that the campsite was exactly as described (and I did walk through the area and it's really beautiful and peaceful), but unfortunately if you don't have a 4-wheel drive then you have to walk down a small hill to get to the campsite. Since my wife has bad knees she didn't want to take a chance on the hill so Ellie was extremely helpful and found us another campsite on the property. Everything worked out perfect and we really appreciated Ellie's flexibility and creative solution. The location of the property is fantastic because you really feel like you're in a very remote area even though the town is just a few miles down the road. This is a great place for a nice camping getaway.

Nice shady campsites!
We had a great time at Memmie’s Farm! The camp sites are in a really nice area with lots of shade, and there is a large field nearby for playing catch or frisbee. We also walked down to the river area and it has a lovely little area of rapids, with crystal clear cool water to play in.

First camping trip with kids!
A group of friends and I took their 3 (!!!) kids camping for the first time, and we had a great time at Ellie’s! She was super accommodating for our group and chose the best site for the kids. (= Lots of space and shade) The sites were pretty large and there were a lot of different areas to explore with the kids — a giant field with flowers (where we also watched the eclipse) and a small piece of the river to dip our feet. Had a great time and I think they have plans to build it out more! Thank you Ellie & crew 🙏🏼
