Camping at its best
Angela's land is a really nice space. We had a great time. It's really close to town but you're far enough away that you feel secluded from town also. We were there over the eclipse and it sounds like she was trying to make more spaces to accommodate more campers. I have mixed views on this strategy. Most of our weekend we were there pretty much by ourselves and had first pick of sites to set up camp so being to close to neighbors wasn't a problem for us, but some sites were really close together. Everyone there was there for the eclipse so it was fun being around other people for the same reason and we met some really nice hip campers.
So as I said, we were there for the eclipse but we did go into town a couple times just to check it out. Fredericksburg is such an adorable town. Lots of great looking restaurants, like way more than you'd expect of a town this size. We brought most of our food, but if you're considering staying here, keep that in mind and save some meals for restaurants inFredericksburg. There also a lot of interesting shops to explore. It's also wine country and lots of choices for tastings if that's your thing.
Overall, had a lovely time. It's camping so your experience is kind of what you make of it. We'd stay here again, should we ever roll through this part of the country again.

Great place and beautiful views. We had a great time!

Overall our experience here was pretty good. The neighbors who live next door played loud music for a good while into the night and were fairly rowdy in general, which was a bit annoying. The sites were nice, clean, and each had a fire pit. Some of the sites were pretty close to each other, but not unreasonably close.
The directions to get to the site were accurate and check in was easy. The road is pretty rough, but is fine if you take it slow. The property is a decent way off the main road, but you can see that pretty easily from the maps.
Thanks, Angela.

Happy Eclipse Campers!
We camped here to watch the eclipse so it was fairly busy (more than typical we assume) but Angela did a great job helping us identify a secluded area to set up our tents. She provided a fire pit and wood for a lovely campfire under the stars. The toilet and water setup worked well and was in clean condition, better than at many campgrounds. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

Overall, a great experience. The hosts were incredibly communicative and helpful. We didn't have a 50amp to 30amp converter and they provided one for our stay, and they provided firewood/pit for us as well.
Thank you!

Tent camping with the kids here was a great time. It was pretty full for the eclipse, but plenty of space between sites and good folks ask around. The porta potty was clean and Angela was helpful!
