We welcome you to come enjoy the beautiful outdoors and dark sky on a scenic 110 acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country. Our family has lived and cared for this unique property since 1976 and we are still here today. We are conveniently located in Blanco, Texas less that 50 miles from either San Antonio or Austin and in the heart of the Texas wine country. Our campsites are next to a spring feed tributary creek which flows year around feeding into the Blanco River just a few miles away or hillside with amazing views of the river valley. You will enjoy the babbling creek, miles of hiking and biking trails, cooling off in the creek, scenic hilltop views, solitude, bold sunrises and sunsets, and a brilliant night sky. We have numerous old growth hardwood trees including Live Oaks, Spanish oaks, Elm, Escarpment Cherry, Black walnut, and Ashe Juniper (cedar) one of which has the largest circumference in Texas. We have a wide selection of native and migratory wildlife that calls this place home including white tail deer, wild turkeys, foxes, bobcats, jack rabbits, road runners, seasonal songbirds and butterflies. We are just minutes away from Blanco State Park and a short drive to Pedernales Falls or Guadalupe River State

Hillside Live Oak Grove
Wonderful host and fantastic property. The views were beautiful and the little bit of hiking we did was great. Close to luckenbach day visit and very close to cute little town of Blanco. We will be back again!

Hillside Live Oak Grove
Nice place to stay. It is relatively quiet and peaceful with a nice view. Good space for camping. I recommend hiking to the top of the hill for the view.

Blasingame Creek Camp
Great camping experience on beautiful land. We stayed at Blasingame Creek Camp; the site was spacious with nice tree cover and the included table was very convenient. We enjoyed hiking the trails and riverbeds on the property and hearing the roosters crow in the morning! Our host Bill was responsive and helpful too. We knew this going in, but the only real hitch was the lack of a toilet - prepare to pack extra bags for a hands-on outhouse. Overall, it was a peaceful, excellent stay

Hillside Live Oak Grove
Beautiful spot to camp. I didn't get to explore the entire property but what I saw was so nice. Beautiful sunset and sunrise over hillsides. Its a quite private and quiet; I was the only person camping that night. Comfortable pairs of chairs and lounge chairs to relax in. Sorry I only spent one night there.

Live Oak Vista Campsite
Perfect spot
Campsite was quiet, private, scenic, and minutes from the wine corridor. What more can you ask for? William was a fantastic and generous host. The hiking trails were fun to explore. We definitely want to come back.

Sunset Hill Bell Tent
Good mix of roughness and amenities. I liked that they had some trails on the property and provided a trail map. We went with three pre-teens who usually complain about everything but even they loved it and are already asking to go back. The host was helpful, the rules were reasonable. The tent was big enough for 2 adults and 3 kids. The campsite was clean. It is as advertised.
