The tent was so cozy and the grounds were very well kept. There's a grill, a place for a fire. A/C in the tent was great, bed was comfortable. Showers were great, in good shape and clean as well. I would recommend using them one at a time for the best temperature. Honestly, it was my first time camping this way and it was great. Highly recommend.

Cute area! We rented the Sunset Cabin for us to stay in while we went to the Sherwood Ren Faire for the weekend. The cabin had all the amenities we needed, but the showers were pretty cold at night (although that might just be the pipes being close to the ground surface). Hotter showers were possible during the day until someone else used the next-door shower or toilet.
Some things that couldn't be helped were the loud neighbors. We arrived late at night to hear a car nearby that was burning rubber for at least 10 minutes. Thankfully, the cabin was able to drown out the noise for the most part, but I felt bad for those who were using the lotus tent.
Keep in mind that at night it is *dark*, even with all the pathway lighting and string lights. It would be wise to use a flashlight when you're walking outside, as there are cacti throughout the area. It is also a little worrisome that the code to the cabin is simply 1234. I don't believe that any of the other campers would attempt to get inside, but a more complicated code would provide ease of mind.
Other than that, we had a great time and would be happy to stay there again!

Small space on the inside, but comfortable tent, and nice outside area. We enjoyed ourselves. Very close to another person's space.

It was a nice outside space, but the outside lights did not work, there was some mold in the tent, and some of the boards were not sturdy and we felt as we were going to fall through. Very spacious tent though and comfortable bed.

The tent was nice. I had some concern over the look of the tent from the inside if it was debris or possibly mold. The tent is on a wooden structure with some cracked parts, nothing that went through the bottom but could feel it when walking. The bed frame was broken and was concerned. The stove was lovely to have when it dropped to 20°. The bathroom was a short walk away which was nice unfortunately due to the cold it did freeze over in the night. There were other camps closer by then what it seemed in the photos(but that could have just been on me not being able to tell). They were very generous in having an AC unit and a portable heater in the tent. The fridge and storage was also helpful.

Super cute property! The tent was so much fun to stay in, we opened up all the clear “windows” and it was such a cozy night. I will say the tent was not quite as advertised, majority of pictures online are outdated (bedding, rugs, blankets, pillows) so unfortunately it looked a lot different and less boho chic than we were anticipating. The tent also no longer has a stove or a built in furnace so that was a bummer, it did at least have a small plug in space heater which we appreciated. One of my favorite parts was the shower house, so so cute!! We woke up on a chilly morning and were able to take a nice hot shower, was absolutely magical. Overall we had a lot of fun here, I definitely would recommend to a friend but I do wish the photos would have more accurately matched the current decor.

Check in and out was very easy and simple. The bathhouse and showers were clean and taken care off. The cabin itself was clean and the mattress was so so comfy. After spending all day at ACL, that bed was like laying on a cloud.

Came here for a weekend stay and it was amazing! There are a few issues such as the type of bedding they chose and the broken wood platform that the tent is on, but other than that everything else was great!

Loved the space. Very private. Wonderful shower. Beautiful tent. Lost power to the tent on the last day around midnight and became terribly hot inside the tent. Couldn't sleep.

I loved tent camping on Sarah's land! The views were beautiful and directions were clear. There was another site nearby but it wasn't too loud. My girlfriend loved it too.

The cabin was very nice and spacious. Me and my two girls fit very comfortably. Easy check in and out. Especially loved the ac and extra fan as well as the mirror and fridge!

Very rainy during our stay, the A frame had a consistent leak over the bed from the window/prop up side. The curtain helped redirect the water but we didn’t notice it until we woke up with wet feet. The A frame is a bit far from the restroom and there is no lit or gravel trail to them at night so with the rain it was a dark muddy trek. The lack of gravel or dry stepping areas made it impossible not to get mud in the unit as well as the lack of shoe storage especially with the expectation of taking shoes off before entering. Overall it was a nice unit the lack of gravel to the restroom, leaking in the unit, and no lighting are my only major complaints. If I also booked the Lotus tent the weekend before and if I were to stay at the Happy Hideaway again it would be in the Lotus tent personally!

I loved staying here!, absolutely beautiful in the morning and a random rooster crowing a couple miles away from us every morning made it even better lol.
Used the campfire to make s’mores, everything went smoothly. They have a cute shower, they also have toilets not far from camp at all. Super quiet I love that they have a no loud music rule, made the experience even more relaxing specially after a long week of work. Would and will come back again. :)

I really loved the feel of everything. However, when I got to the tent I saw a lot of things I didn't see within the pictures. A lot of the things were changed out. It was beautiful, but it also just wasn't what we expected. The bed was comfortable, it came with blankets, had two lamps on each bed. There is an ac & heater to use, but the ac came in through the zipper windows. We had to stuff a bag into the hole so no bugs would get in. The rack to hang clothes n such on was short, so you couldn't even hang anything. Also, I wasn't expecting the furnace to be removed. I should've looked into it more, but I really was excited for that part of the tent.
The toilets are eco friendly, so you can't flush the toilet with toilet paper and dispose into a toilet (bring a water bottle to flush!). There were also a lot of holes in the bathroom/shower area. This made it extremely cold trying to shower, + if someone came over to go to the bathroom, while you were showering they could see you, if they wanted to. This place is nice, but there's some kinks that need a little fix. Overall, decent experience. <3

We absolutely loved staying in the Lotus Tent, great option for far more affordable accommodation yet still very close to Austin city. The tent itself is well set up and comfortable, and the showers are great. Very peaceful especially with the Lotus tent tucked away at the back of the property. Highly recommend for anyone looking for cheap and peaceful accommodation within a short drive of Austin.

Love everything about this place. We got a fire pit, a grill, and a picnic table right behind the tent, and the way they place it makes it feel exclusive. The communal bathhouse is 50ft away, which was nice. Jeff, the groundskeeper, was very responsive and helpful! We appreciate him a lot! There are still rooms for improvement but since they’re working on renovating the whole camp, we would definitely come back to check it out again.

It was so sweet and cozy. It happened to be a day where the weather was beautiful and happened to be cold in the evening so we got to use the little oven. If you’ve never camped in a location like this one this place is an amazing place to start, not to mention the grounds keeper Jeff and his little helper pepper, both of them made this place so welcoming and were very accommodating, I cannot recommend this place enough!:)

Great stay! The space heater worked well for the cooler nights. Only gripe was the hot water in the showers ran out pretty quickly and then the water was icy cold.

This stay was just perfect! I was so impressed by the space, the shower, and the care put into everything by the groundskeeper Jeffery! He was so helpful and communicative.
