The river cuts through the middle of the place and is surrounded by four hills that each have their unique characteristics ranging from flat oak-covered to rocky steep ridges. I guarantee you will find beauty all around. We do have a couple of fun areas to try your 4-wheel drive out. Please dont make your own....stay on trails. There are plenty of places to swim. When the Ladder is reserved, you may not swim there. Please be respectful. We have 1.5 miles of both sides of the river so plenty of places to swim. It varies a lot in depth and width over the ranch. Every camp spot has access to all the swimming holes except the ladder when it is booked. The main swimming holes are-- 1. Below the Green Cabin 2. Turn left on Terlingua Ranch Road. You will see the large white Terlingua Ranch Lodge sign. -From Study Butte: take Hwy 118 North 16 miles from the ALON gas station, turn right at the Terlingua Ranch Lodge sign. 2. Follow Terlingua Ranch Road approximately 16 miles. The first 13 miles are asphalt. There is not a center stripe, please stay on your side of the road. THE LAST THREE MILES ARE ON A MAINTAINED DIRT AND GRAVEL ROAD. It can be wash-boarded in areas. Please drive slowly and observe speed limits to help protect our roads We are proud to be a part of The Greater Big Bend International Dark Sky Reserve. All guests are requested to keep their site as dark as possible between 10pm and 6am. Fire Ban: Due to extreme drought, only gas grills and propane burners are allowed. NO charcoal or wood fires. PARK INFO: While we are adjacent to Big Bend National Park, it is approximately 36 miles to the Maverick Junction entrance of Big Bend National Park and an additional 22 miles to Panther Junction Headquarters and Visitors Center. We are about 32 miles to Study Butte and about 37 miles to Terlingua Ghost Town area. Terlingua Ranch is 192,000 acres of desert and mountains between Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park in far SW Texas. Our campsites are in the area of the Terlingua Ranch Lodge, which features a swimming pool, cafe, laundry, bathhouse, disc golf course, access to hiking trails, and other amenities. Terlingua Ranch is the perfect venue for your basecamp to Big Bend adventures, family reunions, and myriad other activities in the area.

Easy to find, just across from Willow Mountain, one of the most photograph natural features in Big Bend. Traveling highway 118 you will see the Entrance at address 53420, just north 1 mile of the outfitters and gas station. Every night the coyotes would cross the road and come for a visit..Thus the name Coyote Crossing.. With dreams of a tiny home and campground, we continue to improve on the land every day and love to share it with others. When arriving at night it will be very dark.. very few lights in use, dark sky's are protected in Big Bend.. so it may be hard to find. but we are directly on the highway on the west side of 118. Trash Dumpster up front for your use. No collecting rocks, cactus or wood to burn... NO TRACE, leave it as you find it..

Paradise on Lake Texoma (formerly Paradise Cove) is a beautiful, secluded commercial campground located in the "Big Mineral Arm'' of Lake Texoma. Built in the 80's by the Corps of Engineers, Paradise has been a mainstay of the lake for many years. Recently, the current management team are working to grow Paradise into something special. With a huge focus on community and culture, Paradise has tons of space for people to come together and enjoy the company and also areas to wander off and find a quiet lakeside spot to relax. You'll also be able to catch one of the best breathtaking sunsets on the lake! The wildlife we have on the property is amazing! I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos! We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods.  In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! You’ll see us out and about on our golf carts. If you ever need anything just holler (: Check-in time is at 3 pm. Our staff works really hard to make sure everything is perfect for your stay and we can’t guarantee it will be if you arrive before then. Parking, we work really hard to keep our property beautiful. Be sure to park in parking areas only.

Ein wirklich schöner und authentischer Campingplatz im Süden von Texas! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber – unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und merkt, dass hier mit viel persönlichem Einsatz gearbeitet wird. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich hervorragend. Die Stell- und Campingflächen bieten ausreichend Platz und liegen in einer schönen, ruhigen und natürlichen Umgebung. Auch die sanitären Anlagen waren absolut in Ordnung und haben alles geboten, was man beim Camping braucht. Natürlich sollte man wissen, wo man ist: Das hier ist kein Luxus- oder Glamping-Resort, sondern ein bodenständiger Campingplatz im Süden von Texas, nicht weit von der mexikanischen Grenze. Genau das macht für uns aber einen großen Teil des Charmes aus. Viel Natur, Ruhe, eine tolle Umgebung und eine angenehme, unkomplizierte Atmosphäre. Wer einen ehrlichen, günstigen Campingplatz mit besonders herzlichen Gastgebern sucht, ist im Willow Creek Camping genau richtig. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Such a great stay! From the cute ducks, to such a spacious spot for our two tents with 2 friends. The waterfall / dam was so majestic. Cool lighting and different activities to do like, volleyball, tetherball & kayaking. Beware of snakes at night! They weren’t aggressive but definitely something to think about while swimming at night. 10/10 would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time. The river is absolutely beautiful, and the waterfalls make the scenery even more breathtaking. It's a peaceful place to relax, swim, and enjoy nature. We spent the day camping, had breakfast by the river, and made memories our family will never forget. The area was clean, the atmosphere was calm, and there was plenty of space to enjoy without feeling crowded. It's a great destination for families with kids, couples, or anyone looking to escape the city for a while. If you enjoy the outdoors, this place is definitely worth the trip. We can't wait to come back and spend another weekend here. Highly recommended!

What a gorgeous camp site! The pictures don't do it justice! With awesome extra amenities like kayaks, power access at night, wagons to haul our gear to the tent site, and even a shower to rinse off after a day in the river, this really was a perfect vacation site. On our last day camping, we had a slight medical issue that ended with one of our party's vehicles needing to be left for several hours after our scheduled checkout and Laura was incredible to work with. I would definitely recommend this site for anyone visiting the San Marcos/New Braunfels area

The gorgeous, green/blue water of the Llano River is perfect for a quick dip to cool off, or in February, a refreshing way to start the day!

We had such a great time! While it was hot in the Texas heat, the A/C in the tent was great. We pretty much h has the place to ourselves, the fire pit & grill were perfect for evenings & our dogs had a blast being outside and exploring. We would definitely stay again!
