Large vehicles proceed with caution as the roads coming to us are narrow with some big turns. It's very residential and looks like a small neighborhood street coming in. Text when you get to Eckert Lane and we will guide you in for larger vehicles.
Check in before dark. It is easier to get to your site safely during daylight hours and we close the gate at sunset.

What an amazing, special place! We were there with extended family and had a blast. The kids ran free, pet the animals and just explored with total abandon. Like previous reviews stated, the bathroom is clean and quite impressive. The rv spot was great- just tucked up under some trees with plenty of room to spread out.
Loved talking with Janett and Eric- just fantastic people. We will definitely be back!!!
A perfect place to stop on the road
Our second stay one month later at Rustic Roots was as pleasant as our first stay! We chose to book a night on our trip back from our Oregon trip. Still enjoying the honey we purchased from their bees!
A safe and charming stay
We were passing through town and just needed a place to park our Subaru that we were camping in the back of. This place was adorable, seemed very safe, and the outdoor shower and bathroom was incredible. We loved all of the animals as well. Highly recommend this spot.
Lovely quiet spot to park our little camper while visiting St. Louis. Really neat experience to wake up on a farm (chickens, goats, kittens and rows and rows of veggies and berries and some nice trees to boot). Very nice open air shower house with thoughtful amenities. Janett is lovely too!
Great overnight stay!
Exceeded our expectations! We actually got the pleasure of arriving during their Farmer’s Market! Our host was exceptional and made us feel very welcome with a roaring fire and entertainment!
The outdoor shower and bathroom facility was very clean and unique ! We had fresh eggs for breakfast and left with their local honey to enjoy during the rest of our journey!
This farm was very nice and the hosts were friendly and helpful! We bought some honey and can not stop eating it! and they were very helpful later on in our trip when we needed the help!
Awesome organic farm oasis!
What a beautiful place to stay! The farm is so tranquil, it’s a great relaxing oasis in which to set up camp. My three kids (6,9,11) camped here for a night and had such a nice time exploring the farm. Janett is truly a great host - she cheerfully introduced my kids to her farm animals and made sure they had a blast soaking in the farm life. Highly recommend to any travelers passing through St. Louis!
