We had an awesome time staying here. The campsite was peaceful, the scenery was beautiful, and Jon and Kass were incredible hosts. Our family had a little mishap during our stay, and they went above and beyond to help get everything back on track, making the rest of our trip as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
The property itself is amazing, with a beautiful creek running alongside the campsite and a great pond to enjoy. As an added bonus, they have an excellent guard dog who chased off some unwanted visitors while my fiancée and I slept peacefully through the night.
We truly appreciated the hospitality and would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

Camping here was the perfect end to our summer! Swimming in the pond was a blast and the hike to the little waterfall was full of neat things to look at. It was also great to let our dog be off leash, she had as much fun as we did! Like other reviewers have mentioned, you can hear the highway, but the campsite is tucked back in a wooded area and felt very private.

We absolutely loved our stay at Wild Flower camp, though it was only a stop over on our travels from Ohio to Colorado. Jon and Kass (and their awesome fire wood-delivering son) were such great host! With excellent communication, easy check in and a clear map of the vast property. We had the Creekside camp all to ourselves and honestly it was so peaceful and perfect we wish we would have booked 2 days to take full advantage of the pond and trails. We had the best nights sleep, sounds of bull frogs, crickets, owls, distant farm dog barks, we loved it. Our Great Pyrenees got to meet theirs, “Jack” super friendly and sweet. Don’t miss this gem of solitude!

My wife and I camped by the creek in our tent and had a really wonderful time. The views are gorgeous, the campsite was very well maintained, and we felt like we had plenty of privacy with trees and tall brush around the perimeter. The host was friendly and gave us good directions and a map to our site, and their boy even delivered some firewood there for us within just a few minutes of us getting there! If there were any other campers on the property, we didn't see or hear a sign of them!
Sadly we got there a little too late in the day to do much exploring of the creek or property beyond our campsite so we didn't get to see the waterfall or pond this time, but we're definitely planning to go back! We did grill up some bacon, steak, and mushrooms over the campfire. Tasted amazing, and the good smell brought their BIG ol' dog down to see what we were up to. He may have been a giant, but he was super gentle, friendly, and well behaved, and he kept us company for a while in exchange for a chance to lick our cookpot clean when we finished.
Only thing I'd caution (and the owners will tell you the same, like they did for us) is that the dirt path down to the campsite has some pretty dang steep spots. Many cars will struggle getting back up, especially if the ground has softened up a bit from rain or something. It's safest to park up top by the home and then trek your stuff the couple hundred meters down the path instead if you don't have a good off-road vehicle.

We parked our tear drop camper down by the creek. Our dogs loved the freedom of off leash and playing in the creek. We drove up to the pond. It’s awesome! Would to camp there during summer and float all day! Very peaceful!! Kass & Jon were very welcoming and helpful! Definitely buy some fire wood from their son- he is the sweetest kid! Brings it right down to you!! Great trees for hammocks and shade. Bring good water shoes to hike the creek to the waterfall. It was a work out for me 51 yrs old and health problems but it was worth it. We had a blast.

My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and we had a fantastic time. The lake was very pretty, and the trail was pretty as well. The owners' dogs even came down one night and they were very friendly! We loved petting them!

Tent camping on this property was very nice and secluded! Even with a slightly larger group we felt like we had more than enough space around the campsite for us and the dogs. We did have to provide our own toilet set up, which we had known before booking, but other than that it was a sweet experience, I’d love to come back in the future!

We had the most amazing weekend! We bought wood from their son Arlo which we will be doing again on our return trip what a cutie! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and these people. We swam a couple of times (we couldn’t get enough of it), my husband and kids found the waterfall (beautiful but watch out for snakes),Kass is such a delightful person to speak to, and the land is beautiful and quiet. I don’t have one bad experience to share. If you get a chance come here!!! I know we are returning and soon.

It was fine, nice for my kids to run in open space, but for the price, I definitely need a toilet… even an outhouse or port-a-potty. I would not come back for this reason.

Experienced hiker and camper. My first Hipcamp booking. This was a great property. Great experience. I don't like state RV parks because everyone is on top of each other. This was remote, quiet and very peaceful. Saw groundhogs and deer. And their rooster crowing reminded me of when I had birds. Would stay here again!

Snagged a nice flat spot by the garden to pitch my tent- The land was gorgeous and well maintained, family was sweet and accommodating, and i absolutely loved the waterfall and pond! So peaceful and private. This is a little close to the road, but still very quiet, especially at night. The waterfall was slightly challenging to get to after rain, but a fun challenge at that! The dogs trotted ahead of me and showed me the whole way. Best hipcamp I’ve been to yet, do not hesitate to book!

Really cool property with trails and a stream hike up to a scenic waterfall. We navigated it with our 5 year old and Lab. We camped by one of the ponds and thought it was a good location. It was quite and well kept. We enjoyed paddling around in the canoes on the pond. The only negative was the ticks were pretty bad so plan accordingly.

We visited just after a great deal of rain, so the camping spots were a little less accessible than normal. Jon was very helpful with choosing an appropriate spot for our rig. Theirs is a beautiful property, and we really appreciated the trail map printout. Their place was closer to the highway than I expected, which was a plus for getting there, just know you may hear the highway in the distance. We slept very well, and loved the privacy and natural landscape views!
