Spring Lake Ranch boasts countless trails and lake activities. Formerly known as Sayersbrook Bison ranch, at one time it was one of the largest Bison ranches in the world. This property is filled with amazing things to see and explore. Nothing like it in Missouri. Lake is 60+ acres and is spring fed. Amazing fishing, swimming and kayaking. We are pet friendly. You will have amazing lake views and will be close to hiking trails, horseback riding, and wine tasting at Edge Cliff Wineries which is next door to us. The beautiful shower house is super clean, has restrooms and hot showers and it is within walking distance. Firewood and ice are available to purchase; kayaks and fishing poles are available for rent. If you forget something at home stop by our little country store, we might have it! :) The sites are about 20 ft from each other - if you are looking for more privacy please check out the secluded site or the peninsula.

Site 5 - Tent-sites B @ Spring Lake
The tent sites were great! There was a large group of us and it was very convenient to all be close together. The bath house is in great shape. I am curious as to what this place used to be. There is a massive parking lot and a huge pavillion that looks like it used to be a bar. None the less the pavillion gave us a great place out of the sun while the kiddos swam. It would be nice if the campers could have access to the pool at the lodge, but swimming in the lake was nice too. I would highly recommend this campground and will probably be back next Memorial Day.

Wonderful family reunion venue.
We loved this camping experience!! Beautiful sandy beach for the kids, plenty of canoes/kayaks for the older ones. Lovely hiking trails. Farm animals a bonus!! Our only complaint was unanswered questions through the “message the host” option. It would help to have a better form of communication listed in the Hipcamp app!! We hope to return here again!!

The campsite was very rocky and hilly. The campsites were very close together. This worked out well with our large group of people since we were all hanging out together, but would not be ideal if you were trying to get away by yourself. The setup of the campsites to the beach/water area was amazing. Overall, the campsite was very nice.

50 amp electric only RV site
Beautiful and full of amenities
This is one of my favorite camp spaces in Missouri. RV site number two with the 50 amp. Electricity was perfect for my small camper. The property had more than I had expected. The hiking trails are really enjoyable and there’s a longer one and a shorter one. The bath house is clean and newly remodeled. The fishing was good and plenty of spots to do it from. The main area can get noisy when there are lots of families there. But it’s really wonderful to see so many families and so many dogs enjoying their time at the lake. staff were really wonderful, very friendly. Seeing the horses and the goats was a real treat. I will definitely be back. For me RV #2 or if going without electricity, it would be the secluded camping site-are perfect.

Hidden Oasis
We loved camping here! The lake is gorgeous and super peaceful. The wildlife is fun to watch, and the bathrooms are nice and have good water pressure. The cabins looked very enticing and we hope to rent one in the future. A word to tent campers- our tent is a RTT (on top of our car), and so we didn’t rent a campsite with a pad- and we found it rather difficult to find flat ground to park on in the A spaces. We’d still absolutely come back, but we’d probably communicate with the hosts in advance to find a flatter space to park.

Beautiful view of the lake and very private but needs cleaned up a bit. Very rough backing camper in and out but doable with four wheel drive Pool was not open to campers which really sucked Beautiful place but needs some work to be next level

So happy I found Spring Lake! Beautiful property!! We stayed in the full hookup rv sites and we’re glad we were the only ones there because the sites are very close together. The bath houses were 100x better than any state run campground, clean and nice! Peaceful and quiet, definitely recommend!

Nice little spot...we enjoyed the hiking trail. Did have a bit of a dead fish smell where we were but it just came and went throughout the day.

Site 5 - max 24'
We loved RV camping here. Came a great time when it was not crowded at all and very quiet. Caught some nice fish and enjoyed the barn animals. The only thing we did not like was that the RV hooks for site 5 were on the wrong side and there is no pull through option. Had to use the other sites hookup.

Family RVing, hiking, and biking
This property is very tucked away and remote, and worth the trip. Beautiful lake, well-groomed hiking trails, docks, picnic tables, very clean and nice bath house, kayaks, and horseback riding. The staff is very friendly as well. RV site (#8) was a bit unlevel but nothing we couldn’t adjust out with spacers, full hookups. Very bike friendly, dog friendly (be aware that the goats roam around but not bothersome at all), and lots of options for non-RV friends and family to stay too. Thank you, we will be back.

Definitely will be back in the summer! Place is private, and has the perfect space. The overall land is beautiful as well and the cabins look pretty neat. The farm animals are adorable and the lake is beautiful. Could only imagine how much fun it would be during warmer weather!

Amazing little spot!
What a great little place. The people were super friendly and the property was gorgeous. We came in February knowing we wouldn't get to experience the lake so we will definitely be back. We did hike around the lake and the trails are very well maintained. There's so much to do here and it's just the right size to still feel like you're away from it all. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Secluded Campsite by the lake
The spot is secluded and beautiful which was great and 4WD is definitely required. The lake was really extremely low so the fishing from the camp site wasn’t possible. There were two large, but dead trees with rotting branches over the flat clearing for the tent so I had to set up on a slope to avoided falling branches. The kayaks also needed some TLC. Most of the seats were broken. There was more noise than I anticipated at night with dogs barking.

Wish we had stayed longer
Truly had a great time! It was our first experience camping together and we truly enjoyed every bit of it. Staff was friendly and had such a homey feel. We were not able to do the trails during our stay but we enjoyed walking the land and visiting all the animals on the property. We will definitely be coming back and possibly checking out their cabins and treehouses!

Secluded Campsite by the lake
We loved the location. They're not kidding about needing 4wd. Super secluded and quiet and we enjoyed being "on our own". However, the lake was almost non-existent. It's not the host's fault - we are in a drought - but we really would have loved to have been notified ahead of time. We probably would have looked to see if there was availability at any of the other tent sites etc as we were really looking forward to the water. The lack of communication is the only think holding us back from giving it a higher review. That said, the site is great and I'm sure we'll be back in the future.

Fall Camping with the Dogs
We love camping at Spring Lake Ranch. We were at site #7 and while it could use some additional gravel on the site it’s got a great view of the lake in the distance during the fall and being so close to the horses and the barn was great too. It’s quiet (when the construction on part of their back property during the week) stops and there’s good hiking too. Being adjacent to Edg Clif winery is a big bonus. We’ll definitely be back for another fun adventure with our dogs.

The property is so beautiful and there is so much to discover on walks. It was very quiet and peaceful, and possibly the best place I've been to star gaze! My friend and I spent time collecting geodes, visiting the animals and sitting by the fire. My only advice is to arrive in the daylight, as it gets quite dark at night.

We really enjoyed our stay at Spring Lake. It was quiet and the lake is absolutely beautiful! Great fishing! The staff was very friendly. We were in drive through site 4 full hook up. It was a good spot for our 30' camper...thankfully. ( the other camper spots are more suitable for smaller campers) And the camper area is set up a little to close together compared to normal, But a full dump station at the site was very convienient. It was a tight drive into the camp ground but we had no problems navigating it. Friends tent camped and some stayed in cabins. Those areas are really nice and the bath house was very nice and clean. We will definately be back!
