I slept in my jeep near the water, had a campfire and lounged in the river current with beverage. Joshua open to wherever you want to set up camp. Friendly and helpful!

We had a beautiful spot right next to the river. The host Josh was gracious and helpful. He supplied us with firewood free of charge and saved us a trip into town. Great spot.

Great Camping Spot!
Big River Outdoors exceeded our expectations! While we initially encountered a bit of difficulty locating the camping spots, our fortunes changed when Joshua's friend Mickey guided us to an idyllic location on a serene gravel bar. Our truck did get stuck at one point, and in a true testament to the local spirit, Joshua reassured us that we didn't need AAA as 'country people look out for one another.' Without hesitation, his friends Mickey, Bruce, and Tom rallied to our aid, effortlessly freeing our truck from its predicament. To our surprise, Tom even dashed to the nearby gas station, kindly bringing back a bag of ice to spare us the journey.
The camaraderie and generosity of these individuals truly astounded us. While the experience involved some ruggedness, requiring us to bring along a camp table and plan for firewood, ice, and bathroom facilities, it only added to the authenticity of our adventure. We're already looking forward to another stay at this remarkable location. Needless to say, we'll be sure to have our 4x4 on standby, just in case of any further escapades!
