10/10! This place is so beautiful and quiet. We loved it and our dogs loved it. What a great find. Especially considering how our weekend started. After arriving at a nearby state park to discover that our campsite was completely unusable, I hopped on HipCamp to find an alternative. I sent the request to book shortly after 8pm on Friday night while my husband drove. Jo responded very quickly and we had somewhere to go!

Cinco de Mayo weekly RV site
this is the second time we have stayed here if we ever hold tent revivals in the area again we will most likely stay here again. The place is always clean and beautiful and Jo is always good to work with.

If you’re looking for a peaceful spot, this is it. We were in space #1 full rv hookup and had an absolutely beautiful view of the field. Wild turkey rummaged through the field. The 3 camp cats would sometimes quietly supervise our dogs but didn’t antagonize. Very easy to get to right off the main road and had a wonderful time walking the river, looking at stones and guppies. The bath house is well maintained and the option to do laundry was awesome! Jo was the ultimate host and we would highly recommend Cinco De Mayo!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cinco de Mayo RV campground. The site was easy to get to, we could just pull right on into our spot. The camp host, Jo was so kind and helpful. She met us at our spot and helped guide us in. It was very quiet and peaceful. Our cat, Bird enjoyed it as well.

Very comfortable spot! Very pretty part of the country. It was pretty dark, the moon was out but if it wasn't I think the stars would have been really something. The field is comfortable to sleep on.

So peaceful! Jo was welcoming, accommodating and beyond interesting !!! Great location for our first Glamping Van (aka Betty) adventure down 21 … A stop at the Village Mercantile in Caledonia, which was awesome.. then Elephant Rock State Park for quick climb and then onto Johnson Shutinsfor a stop to reminisce about childhood trips!! Looking forward to going back!!

We loved being at Cinco de Mayo, RV spot 4! The property is beautiful, peaceful and a perfect location. Jo is such a great person and an amazing host. She was very helpful with getting us situated as we are still new to RVing, and she knows of all the good places to go adventuring in the area. We were there for 5 months and would have gladly stayed longer if we could have. We highly recommend it here.

The campsite I stayed at turned out to be quite decent. I camped in a tent and had access to a bathhouse that included showers and toilets, as well as a laundry room and a small kitchen. The site also offered Wi-Fi. Initially, the area gave off a bit of a rural vibe, but overall, it was a pleasant and satisfactory stay.

Site 5 is pull through spot with 50/30/20 amp electric and water. Dump site on property. Has a community gas grill and a Blackstone. Pet friendly and very quiet. Wifi included.

Camp manager Jo was extremely kind, courteous, laid back, and accommodating. The only negative was that she threw some kind of party for the eclipse and had her own personal entourage staying there as well as the guests. They were loud, but more importsnrly they mainly only hung out around the one bathroom and public use area, which made showering and using the bathroom extremely awkward.

What a delightful, intimate campground! Beautiful river view, adorable cozy cabin/house, all the basic necessities provided.

Cinco de Mayo campground has everything we could have needed, and then some! The tent sites are spacious and the people were friendly but gave you space as well.
Bathroom and shower were clean. Sitting by the river for the total solar eclipse was magical!
Slight road noise in the mornings, but overall peaceful. Although we only explored the surroundings a little, it seems to be a good central location for exploring!
I would definitely come back!
