The place was gorgeous! The owner was super sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The tent spots are far enough apart that you barley realize that you are at a campsite. The creek was amazing too. We went swimming every day and if you like to collect rocks like us there are a lot of cool ones. She also said that their are arrow heads around the creek too! Town is not to far away for anything you may have forgotten.

This place is magical! Michelle and Paul greeted us with open arms. We were very very late for the check in and they were very understanding. We absolutely loved the beautiful and private tent site, it’s easy access to the creek, the crystal clear water, the stunning star ridden night sky and the adventure of searching for arrowheads, gems and crystals and even fossils on the water banks. Unforgettable experience. Can’t wait to go back!!

We loved staying here as a family. We had a very private weekend camping right beside the creek. Hosts were very nice and available for anything. The showers and bathrooms were minimal but perfectly acceptable for the price of admission.

This was our fourth trip to Four Creeks Ranch, and it gets better every year. Our tent site next to the creek was absolutely gorgeous, and the stargazing at night is tough to beat. Shelly and Paul are wonderful people and amazing hosts. They even have ice for sale now which saved us a trip into town. A+ experience, can't wait to go back next year!

Always love staying here! Michelle is a great host and a hard worker! I suggest the side by side tour lots of fun and so interesting and beautiful! Love the spot ill be back again! I hope they get the rain that they need!

June 2026. This is probably my 4 th time staying at 4CR and I love it just as much. The camp is so clean. The water was wonderful and so close that my kids could go play and I could see them.

The campsite was well kept and clean. Unfortunately there were not quiet hours and other campers were playing music late into the night. Additionally, the sites were advertised as having a water spigot, but no spigot was close by and we were told to use the same spigot as what hooked up to the showers and bathroom.

Private, quiet, beautiful campsite. The area was clean and had access to a clear-water creek. We saw a multitude of native birds, rabbits, and bullfrog tadpoles and found many geodes with crystals. This campsite is a wonderful spot to rest, relax and engage with nature.

We had a good stay overall. Shelly was incredibly helpful and kind, and having ice and firewood available on site was a huge convenience. Cell service was spotty and Shelly always answered text and was flexible when we decided to stay another night. There were 10 of us, ages 11-65, and we had plenty of space and privacy. Everyone loved riding dirt bikes and ATVs, searching for rocks and geodes, and playing in the creek.
The location was convenient for visiting the Black River, Blue Spring, Rocky Falls, and Johnson Shut ins. A Dollar General and a grocery store are very close as well.
My only complaint was the porta-potties needed cleaned and the shower didn’t drain completely due to the tilt of the concrete. Because of this some of our group wouldn’t shower.
I would stay here again if we return to the area.

The land is beautiful. There are several scattered sites, a couple of spots by the creek and the secluded little spot we got shaded by black walnut trees that felt magical. There are creeks running through the property, a shower, restrooms, ice and wood. Shelly is extremely sweet, helpful and hospitable. Expect to see raccoons, frogs, the occasional snake along with butterflies and lighting bugs. There were also Cardinals, bright blue indigo buntings and lots of native wildflowers. The only downside was the ticks but that is absolutely everywhere and to no fault of their own. Our favorite part was definitely the overall scenery with the creek being so close- the healthy trees and rolling hills. We would absolutely recommend and would love to visit again. Thanks Shelly & Paul for creating the perfect camping spot.

Such a beautiful gem of a site! People were welcoming and very friendly the type of southern hospitality that makes you feel at home! Shelly & Paul was absolutely amazing. Lots of room for fishing swimming side by side tour was outta this world! The delivery service was top notch! We will 100% be back

When we got to the property, Michelle offered us the camp site with a covered shelter which was amazing since we ended up getting lots of rain. We were able to have our cookware & a tiny fire underneath the shelter & could stay out of the rain. It was my son’s first time camping & he loved how close the creek was - all he wanted to do was fish. He also loved the big open space at our site. It was perfect for playing baseball, frisbee & football. So, despite the storms & cold weather, we ended up having a really great weekend.

Not what I expected. I didn’t realize we would be so close to the entrance and there was a lot of ATV traffic and noise well after 10pm both nights. Campsite was somewhat clean and one out of the 5 outhouses were cleaned. All others were in need of emptying. Messaged the host a question about canoe rentals with no response and messaged our ETA as requested and no response. No host on site so we had zero communication or interaction from the host. We drove in according to directions and crossed our fingers we were in the right spot. I wouldn’t say the campsite was bad. I just wasn’t expecting all the ATV traffic and zero interaction from the host. I’ve camped in more primitive sites so the bathroom wasn’t a deal breaker either. Would be a great site for RV’s, family’s, and ATV enthusiasts. Not so good if you’re looking for quiet, remote camping accessible with a rooftop tent.

193889/10 awesome experience! Even though the waters were low due to the drought, the swimming holes were still deep and clear enough to do a couple laps. There were also several cool rocks/crystals that I spent my time hoarding 😅 I will most likely be back in the spring to fill another shelf. Michelle was also super sweet, and I could text her no matter what and she was very prompt with answering. She also gave me fresh eggs! Which with current grocery prices came at a perfect time to save my bank account 😂 Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a secluded retreat with nature. The noises from the other campsite didnt bother me, and I could even comfortably stargaze from a hammock i set up in the trees 🙏🏾

The renters are very nice and made sure that I had everything that I needed. The cite by the creek is setup very well with plenty of area. Also, i’m not from that area so I don’t know what normal is, but while I was there, I didn’t fight almost any bugs. The whole time I was there, I only saw a few flies. I’m from Arkansas where the mosquitoes will pick you up and carry you away. And if there is ever a time to where I can be outside and not get bit by a mosquito, it’s a really really good day. I highly recommend the spot.

My dog and I got there around 830pm (which I know is late but we were coming from Arkansas and needed a safe spot to stay). The stars were beautiful!!! But around 930pm when we were trying to sleep there was a flash light that would come on and off randomly and the person holding it was getting closer. They stopped on the side of my car and shined the light in. Then they stopped in front of my car and shined the light in for about a minute. I locked my car and when I do that the lights flash. They continued on and (I believe) went to get ice before walking back to their site. On the way back they once again stopped in front of my car and shined the light in again. I decided to move the car toward the entrance were I saw people before. I backed up into the spot. Quickly killed the engine and the lights because I didn’t want to be rude to others. As soon as I turned my lights off a person camping across from me turned their car lights on shining in my direction. I sat in the drivers side for 15 mins thinking maybe they just needed light. But they never turned it off. Then, I am not exaggerating, my car shifted in a bouncing way twice. Thinking it could be my dog moving I turned to look in the backseat and he was already asleep. I noped right on out of there SO QUICK. While I don’t think this has much to do with the actual camp area or the owners, it was still a very very scary experience for me. But, hey, A+ on the star gazing before it got creepy!!!

We could not ask for a better campsite. Sites were clean and far apart for plenty of privacy. Unfortunately the creeks were dried up since there hasn't been any rain but it was a little too cool for swimming anyway. Michelle met us on arrival and guided us to our site and left us plenty of firewood for our stay. My dog also loved it! Hope to return next summer !

Beautiful part of the state, beautiful land, great camping spot. Even late in the dry season, this site is a wonderful getaway. It's tucked into the woods enough to have privacy, then opens up to two running streams that provide all of the beauty that moving water provides. Shelly and Paul were great to get us settled and supported.

Beautiful scenery! Peaceful and relaxing. The creek was low when I was there, so there was a bit of a trick downhill to get to the creek bed. It led to another Creek that had water and deep enough to swim in and also held fish to catch. It was a good time. The Host, Shelly was so helpful and informative about where to go and what to look for. She was a delight. I would definitely go back!

My stay at Creekside was fantastic. Shelly is very friendly and ready to help should you need anything. The site was clean and comfortable, but best of all of all was its proximity to the creek! It was just a short walk from the edge of campsite, giving easy access for swimming, wading, or a big open sky to watch the stars.
I was fortunate to have come when there few other guests, so it was extremely peaceful. The sites are well spaced and off a sparsely traveled county road. This is a great place for those who like basic camping, with a few basic amenities available. There is a simple shower (with hot water), well water, outhouse/johnny, and ice and firewood is available should you need it.
All in all, this was a great place to stay and I would definitely do so again sometime. Thank you, Shelly!
