Beautiful views and so much fun interacting with the animals. Very pet friendly, our dogs did well on the tether we brought. Cabin was perfect and had no issues with heat/cold. We had a great stay, thank you!

We loved every second of being at this tiny home! Melissa and Rick’s farm is so beautiful, right next to the house are horses with a very friendly horse Bubba who will come and greet you. On this property there are an assortment of animals: cows, chickens, cats, the CUTEST dogs, and friendly goats. Rick is so friendly and took my boyfriend and I on a tour and it was our favorite part of this trip, we didn’t want to leave!! Inside the Home there is a microwave, tv with dvd player, plates and cutlery, an electric skillet, clawfoot tub and a shower. There is no kitchen sink so we just used bathroom sink to do dishes, wasn’t too much of an issue. Outside is a bench perfectly located so you can enjoy the sunset, which you’re going to because they are truly magical. You can make a campfire and there is also a grill available. Was a great time and we are already talking about coming back, Melissa and Rick are amazing!!

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this place. It met every expectation and added more. The land is beautiful, with slightly rolling hills, but in those hills are about 30 different horses with a whole cascade of personalities, and about 20 cows and calves(watching the calves play is so cute, I was giggling like a maniac all weekend). Rick (Melissa’s husband) is such a great host, he has a story for every animal on his property, and you can tell that he loves being out there. Besides the cattle’s and horses, there’s a wide array of birds such as guinea fowl and peacocks, goats and chickens, some beautiful country pigeons, and even a domesticated raccoon named Captain(who has more personality than the rest of the animals combined). The retired hunting dogs that live on the property are SO excited to see a new face and to get pet, along with a few of the smallest, cutest dogs I’ve ever seen in my life. The house itself is also a treat! They provided a mini fridge, microwave, and a decent sized electric skillet for cooking, along with a coffee pot and Keurig(with coffee supplied!). There’s also a small tv with a dvd player attached, and a wide assortment of movies. The bathroom was wicked cool, my girlfriend really loved ending our second day with a good soak in the clawfoot tub, but there’s also a shower in case you get dirty from petting horses out in the field with Rick. All in all, this place was something incredible, we will 110% be back to stay in here again!!

Melissa and Rick have a beautiful farm with amazing sunsets. The cabin is cute and cozy and was everything we needed. The animals were great fun. We can't wait to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. I was originally annoyed about the wedding right next door, since it was supposed to be a peaceful relaxing trip. We made the best of it though and ended up doing a little dancing on the porch.
The clawfoot tub was fantastic. I would go back just for that. And all of the animals were adorable to watch.
It was a wonderful trip overall and we would definitely stay again.
If you are looking for a quiet getaway, I would if there is a wedding booked.

Our stay was fantastic. Private, quiet, clean and fabulous sunset. Will definitely stay again. It was perfect for a short getaway from the rat race of life. Amazing clawfoot bathtub.

Our little family of 2 adults and 2 little puppies slept snugly and comfortably in this adorable cabin on a farm. So serene waking up to the vast farm on the horizon and horses wandering peacefully nearby. A true getaway from the hustle and bustle of St Louis!

My mom and I loved staying at this Hipcamp! There are so many adorable beagles, goats, horses, cats and birds! Rick & Boogie were so friendly and accommodating to us! The bunkhouse was very rustic, clean and comfortable. We will definitely come back when passing through! Thanks again!!

They were nice and the place is cute. Towels were clean, but had some stains on them from makeup, etc. Could be bleached. It would be the perfect place for someone to stay after a wedding, the farm and the barn for the reception and ceremony are really beautiful. One other thing, if we could have had the code to the little house prior to getting there, it would have been helpful. We tried for 20 mins to reach out to them and then finally walked up to their house in the dark. It wouldn't have been a big deal, but we had traveled from STL and had to go to the bathroom.

Delightful 1 bedroom peaceful tiny house
Tiny home was as expected, quiet and private, positioned on a lovely farm off a dirt road. Enjoyed sitting on the porch, watching the cows and horses. Equally perfect for our dog, who I think wanted to stay. Close to Mark Twain Natl Forest, within striking distance of Ozark Scenic Riverways and several state parks. Melissa and Ricky were gracious hosts.

LOVE this place! So peaceful and beautiful. Directions were clear, Melissa checked to make sure everything was in order, place was clean, bed was comfy, animals were friendly, sunset was magical. Even had breakfast bars and coffee before I hit the road. Recommend the claw foot tub after a day of driving. Wish I could have stayed more nights.

Accommodations were good, access to rental was delayed due to host not sending the code to door. We had driven several hours and needed to use the bathroom so we drove back to town. We got the code about an hour later but it was so late by then and we had driven so much, we kind of lost the evening of our overnight trip. The firewood they provide for the fire ring consisted of two pieces of lumber and some trash, no chairs to relax by it. We ended up just playing some uno and going to bed. The waterproof mattress pad made a crinkley sound but the bed was comfortable.

This tiny home was a marvelous getaway—we loved watching the sun set over the pasture and petting the animals. Excellent proximity to float locations on the Current River, Mark Twain National Forest, Johnson’s Shut-Ins, and Elephant Rock State Park.

This is a very cozy cabin, on a lovely farm, with lovely hosts. We were very comfortable. We weren't able to attend the dance on Friday night, but I'm sure that would have been icing on the cake!

We loved our stay at Melissa and Rick’s tiny home! Their place is quiet and charming. The cabin was stocked with treats, coffee and all the fixins for getting cozy. Both Melissa and Rick gave us excellent recs for what to eat and do (JB Malone’s and devils well, which was a trip highlight). Can’t recommend this place enough.
We enjoyed being surrounded by the bunnies, horses and playful pups! Excited to visit here again!
10/10 would recommend this spot to anyone!
