Sandy was kind and experienced in hosting and hospitality. The tent sites had grass, and we were grateful for toilets, sinks, and showers. The general store was also well stocked and ice was available.

W-24 Group Tent Site

The camp ground is very nice. The particular site we had included private two showers and restrooms plus a sink. We walked up to the communal showers and toilets which were very nice and clean. Friendly staff

Great location with pick-up for river floats, nicely shaded RV spots and nice hosts. Town was close for supplies and restaurants.

The hosts are great, the campsite was great except it was TOO shady so there was no sunlight to dry wet clothes or charge solar devices (this was a primitive spot). Also the campground is near a busy road so you can hear all of the traffic from town and the bar. Would stay here again but probably in the off season and at a different site.

We LOVE the "Cedar Shack"!

#9 Cedar Shack

This little cedar "shack" cabin is adorable! Our stay was super comfortable, because the cabin is stocked with everything we could have needed: dishes, towels, bed linens, pillows, the whole 9 yards! They even provided dish soap and a sponge to wash any dishes we used. The cabin itself is super clean and smells like the cedar wood it's build with! There are 2 AC units, one in the main area and one in the bedroom. They were more than enough to keep us cool even when outdoor temps were in the "feels like 106°" range! The location of the cabin is super easy to access from side entrance without having to drive though the whole campground, and parking was convenient: right in front of the cabin. The HUGE porch was perfect for sitting on the rocker and watching the July 4th fireworks, although they were slightly obstructed by the tree line. This is our third stay at ECC, and our first in the Cedar Shack (we've stayed in the glamping tent twice before), and as always, Sandy was a great host - always super friendly and informative. Check in and check out are quick and simple, and the pricing was very reasonable. We will definitely be back to stay again! :)

Conveniet and Well Managed

Plenty of room and dry despite rain (no puddles and good irrigation). Store had plenty and location was quiet at night despite being an easy trip to town to enjoy a restaurant or what have you.

I enjoyed this little secluded spot. Best campsite on the campgrounds if you're looking for something a bit less "open". It's tucked back in some trees unlike the other campsites. On the 2nd night I switched to a different site though to get some distance from other campers since a huge party of 37 showed up in the area just outside this spot. The host was helpful.

P-34 Tent Site

It was a great area. The host was sweet and easy going. Her mom (grandma) was so sweet and looked forward to seeing her and her pupper dog everyday. The site we had was very nice. The noise from town was a little annoying but overall it was a good stay. Will definitely go back.

Had a great and relaxing time. There are lots of sites but going mid march the cabins were in use but only 2-3 sites so very solo. Quite open. But there a secluded site. Bathrooms and showers available. My dog enjoyed it too. Sandy made sure we had what we needed and all staff were friendly.

#31 The Lodge

Cabin was excellent and the campground clearly is a passion project for how well maintained it was. Perfect way to get away from the noise of the city. Would recommend.

We stayed in the glamping tent, it was our first time ever staying in something like this. We typically either tent camp or stay in a cabin. It was a great location on the scenic byway. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do for a short weekend. The site was clean and the bed was super comfy. The night got cool so we were thankful for the heated bed. Thanks for a great stay!!

WE-7 Tent Site

The camp ground is in a great location for floating and draws a fairly relaxed crowd. Not much rowdiness going on, very family friendly. Unfortunately, I picked a weekend when there was a large trail ride going on down the hill, in town. We were able to hear their music from the camp ground, until pretty late. The camp ground itself was as quiet as any similar camp ground I’ve been in. Restrooms and showers were clean, water was hot, and the store had what we needed. Sandy was wonderful to talk to and work with. I’ll stay again, next time I float in Eminence.

Great service from the staff, private camp site farther from rv and other tent sites. Site is shaded which was very nice. Fire pits do not have grills at this camp (I don’t think any did at the campground) so make sure you plan accordingly.

Great low-maintenance getaway

This safari-style glamping tent was awesome! I went with my three kids on a spontaneous trip in early July (we brought an extra cot), and it turned out to be the perfect little getaway. To my surprise, the tent even had A/C, which made a huge difference in the summer heat. The tent is located right at the front of the campground—not deep in the woods—but it’s nestled against a tree line, so it still feels peaceful and close to nature. It struck a great balance between comfort and that true camping vibe. We didn’t pick the spot for the location, but it ended up being ideal. It’s just 20 minutes from Rocky Falls, an incredible waterfall and swimming hole, and there’s a great little burger shack just four minutes down the road. We cooked all our meals right over the fire using our Dutch oven, and it worked perfectly with the provided fire rack—super easy and satisfying. All in all, it was the perfect two-night escape. — Oh and the host, Sandy, was tremendously kind.

Sandy was super nice and hospitable. We will definitely be staying again in the future. We stayed at the p23 site, super private. The showers and flush toilets are always a plus. The tent sites had a nice grass base. The river, natural sites, and food are close by.
