Piney Bend Riverfront Cabin
Best little cabin in Missouri
The cabin was better than we ever imagined and had way more features than we expected! Lacey was awesome and met us at arrival and showed us around. She made sure we had everything we needed for the stay, and was our "text tour guide" as well! The pictures of the cabin do not do it justice, it is fantastic and Instagram worthy! The shower was amazing. I used it on a cold morning and it got up to 100 degrees... And the towels she provides are super soft and brand new. The beds were so comfy and cozy, my fiance actually slept on the top bunk and said he hadn't slept that comfy in a long time. The mattress, pillows, the sheets (I had to take a pic of the tag so I could get some), the comforter all together was a dream. The kitchen is fully stocked. You do not need to bring any supplies at all. There is even a few spices and coffee and creamer. There is no oven of course, but there is a charcoal grill and a grill grate at the awesome fire pit with a brand new picnic table and umbrella. The bathroom is open air but private, better than any outdoor toilet I've used! The driveway to the cabin is steep and needs 4WD, I got my workout from my daily visits to the river.
Speaking of which the view is AMAZING! Great view of the turquoise river and bluffs. Sunrise and sunset are worth the time to hangout on the porch and watch while waiting for the super dark sky with tons of stars. If you are seeking for the perfect private getaway, this is the place!

So restful
A quiet, restful place. I enjoyed hiking while there. Close enough to Fort Leonard Wood to be the perfect place to stay while there for my daughter's graduation.
