Great campsite, my group enjoyed how secluded the area was. Only downfall was the lack of port a potty at the site. Other than that everything was great.

Good Overnight!

My family and I had a great time. It was secluded and quiet. The terrain rocky which helped keep the bugs at bay but is a bummer if you enjoy grass. We stayed at site 2. There was a porta potty within walking distance. And something of a lake view though you are off the water.

This place is absolutely awesome, great sites and Overland rig friendly! That siad be sure that you do have something that can climb a bit of an incline on gravel. That is what makes this place awesome.

Worth it!

It was a bit tricky to find, as the GPS took us to a private drive before the actual turn, but once why got there, the sites are relatively easy to find. It's a really pretty camping area right on the water, with maintained campings areas and a pretty view! Site 1 is the most secluded, which is what we wanted, but the other sites have better water access. All in all, this is a great camping area, and Debra was a great host that responds quickly! 🙂

Overall we loved the views and the location. Unfortunately we had some camp neighbors that set up camp after dark and remained loudly awake until 5am the next morning. The camp hosts are unable to respond to messages quickly so we felt we had to advocate for ourselves. The other group made a mess in the one and only portable restroom so the next morning I had to do a little clean up to use it sanitarily. We weren’t able to get the relaxation we were hoping for. I know the hosts were not happy and it just sucks that it can take one person to ruin it for everyone.

Don't pick site two, otherwise grea

Site two does not have water access, despite the pictures. There are several nice sites here. But ours was across the road from the water, so I didn't realize that when we booked it. I felt the pictures were a bit misleading. Any other site but site two. Would probably be beautiful. It's a small cove on lake of the ozarks, which is a pretty dirty lake. I didn't want to swim in that water. But my dogs and my son did. It's a nasty lake. I suppose the Adirondacks have spoiled me but people seem to like it down there. If we go back we're doing an airbnb. But we survived. Bugs. Ticks. Heat. It's roughing it camping. Very nice to have a porta potty down the road, and it was very clean. I just wouldn't have picked the site we picked. Otherwise a good trip although July is hot! Be advised.

Clean, site had picnic table and was right on the water.. In picture it appeared sites were all somewhat private but actually majority very close together, ( there are only 7 or 8.) They offered a johnny on the spot as well but 3 wasps were flying around and I couldn't use. All in all very nice but if looking for privacy this isn't the place

Very nice! We stayed at camp site #2 and it was perfect for 4 people. Very private and not too close to other sites compared to a couple others. The pictures honestly don’t do it justice.

This campsite is so beautiful this site has a pretty steep hill but if you have a 4X4 you can drive down it easily ended up camping out in our bronco and our puppy loved it

Site 3 Beach Site

This campground was one of the cleanest and well kept campgrounds I’ve been to in a LONG time. It was very rocky with minimal grass around the tent sites which was fine by me! Because, the hosts provided large plots of turf! The turf was a nice touch and kept our tent dry when it rained and comfortable from rocks digging in your back or feet. The lake was very accessible and we had an amazing view of it! The boat launch was narrow even for our aluminum bass tracker but really nice! Be warned for larger boats-but still nicer than most resorts. The portapotty on site was clean and stocked. The hosts were very kind and great to work with. There aren’t many campgrounds on the lake but this one was worth every penny!

A MUST GO TO SPOT!

What really made my camping trip special was meeting the owners of this beautiful spot. They were genuinely nice people, and you can tell they put their heart and soul into creating a wonderful experience for their guests. The campground is located in a stunning spot on Lake of the Ozarks, with breathtaking water views and a perfect spot to swim, fish, or kayak, and relax!!! I highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a memorable and personal camping experience.

I loved camping on Debra's land. It is very easy to find and so peaceful. Debra responds quickly and effectively to every question I had. I recommend this campsite highly and will stay here again whenever I'm back in the lake Ozark area.

It was a lot of fun. Next time we need to stay longer. Lot 6 was amazing. Idk about the other lots but it was hard to drive stakes into the ground. A lot of rocks around the platform. If your tent has heavy duty plastic stakes (like our) I recommend you get metal one and a hammer/ mallet to fix that one problem. Everything else was amazing, couldn’t ask for a better get away spot

Enjoyed the site being away from the others with its own little piece of waterfront. Appreciate the matting for the tent site. Parking is not ideal for hauling gear - steep, slippery grade. Imagine it would be a real mess if wet at all - we were fortunate with dry weather. Port-a-potty was decent & stocked with TP. No grill or grate - just an open fire ring. OK for us as we had a camp stove but would need to bring something for cooking on the fire. View of the lake & scenery was fantastic and enjoyed the wildlife we saw. We were at site #1.

Campsite overall was beautiful and had easy access to the lake. The campsite was unfortunately smaller than expected and we added a second campsite to accommodate the 3 tents we had. So if you are bringing multiple tents I would recommend booking sites near one another.

We loved the campsite! The views were amazing and it was peaceful. Only thing I didn’t care for was the amount of bedrock that made it difficult to drive our stakes in the ground. But you can’t really do much about that. Overall it was a great place to relax!

Absolutely amazing trip for my family and our dog! Very peaceful, plenty of firewood. Secluded enough, but close enough to the dollar general to be convenient. Best camp sites we have ever been to!

This site was a fun spot, but beware of arriving at night. If you’re in site one, you’ll ll have to traverse on foot down the hill, unless you have a smaller 4x4. Also, pack light. There is a porta john, the lake contact spot has tons of fish. It is also pack in. - pack out. All campsites were very clean and beautiful and we look forward to staying again. Also, if you have a big tent, site 2 has the biggest pad, but no lake access (directly). Everything is mowed and kept up very well. I definitely recommend
