Harmony Lake welcomes you to our Farm. We are proud to be a registered member of Missouri Agritourism. Agritourism connects our guests with the great outdoors via Farm Stay. We hope you enjoy your stay at Harmony Lake Farm. We are walking distance to Harmony Lake: a private 12-acre lake for fishing, swimming and paddle boats. Our lake is home to record large-mouth bass and Missouri's longest free-floating walkway leading to a private island. We are located just 15-minutes from the highway and one hour to sites and attractions of Kansas City. We are 15-minutes to Lexington historic district or Odessa. We have a variety of tent and RV sites for your party to choose from so just reach out if you would like clarification on anything. Campfires and pets are allowed and all sites have access to bathroom with shower, trash bins, and an outdoor grill house.

My husband and I took our first camping trip this weekend together, and we’re so grateful we chose this campground! We had our own little secluded campsite away from everyone else, which made it feel so peaceful. We loved spending time at the beach, fishing, and just enjoying the outdoors. Ken and Joan were absolutely wonderful. Ken went out of his way to help us since we had very little fishing experience, and thanks to his help we ended up catching a huge catfish! He even helped us handle it afterward, which we definitely appreciated. 😅 We also loved seeing all the animals around the property, the beautiful peacocks roaming freely, the ducks, the pig, and especially the friendly emu. I even got to pet an emu for the first time! This was such a memorable camping experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. We can’t recommend this campground enough and are already looking forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful weekend at Harmony! The property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and a great place to relax with family. We truly hope they’re able to keep this hidden gem just the way it is for many years because we’d love to come back. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They were always available to answer questions and made sure everyone felt taken care of. A couple of tips for future visitors: if you’re planning to spend time at the lake, I highly recommend bringing a wagon. Some campsites require a short walk to the water, and a wagon makes it much easier to carry drinks, snacks, floaties, toys, or anything else you want for the day. Also, just something to keep in mind—there is one shower, one indoor toilet, and one portable restroom available, so you may have a short wait during busier times. Overall, we had an amazing experience. The kids had a blast, the adults enjoyed every minute, and we left with wonderful memories. We definitely recommend Harmony to anyone looking for a peaceful camping getaway!

This space was beautiful and serene! We arrived later than expected and they were so gracious and helpful, very friendly! It was the perfect space we needed after many hours of driving. Between the beautiful lake and ducks and other wildlife, it was amazing! The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. Many tent sites all around the lake with plenty of room between. The only drawback was no sign or address at the long driveway. Other than that it was perfect!

Although planning to camp initially, our Kansas City group decided just to spend the day at Harmony Lake. We were greeted warmly and right on time. We read our books among the geese, paddled in boats to the middle of the lake (pond?). We will be back, with more friends very soon. Thank you for sharing this property with the public!

Our family loved staying here! Kenny was very accommodating. Our kids really enjoyed peddling the paddleboats around the lake and tree-covered island. They also loved watching the emu, pot-bellied pig, peacocks and petting the cats! Super Friendly hosts!

Such a joy to be able to stay here and can't wait to come back. From the hospitality of Joan and Ken, to the emu and peacocks, to walks around (and through) the lake, breathtaking views, and great camping - this place is truly special. Once we pulled in, they went above and beyond. We came in late and didn't realize there was a bad storm hitting that night. They helped us stay safe and were more than welcoming and accommodating and made sure we stayed safe.

Joan and Ken were fantastic hosts. It had rained a couple days before we arrived. They made sure we were set up in a spot without standing water. The grill house is a perfect addition to the property and makes life easy with kiddos. The sandy beach and shore fishing was perfect for our 3 year old. Cool factor is the peacocks!! 🦚

I took my 3 year old, and we loved it. The property is very beautiful, she really enjoyed seeing some peacocks. She got to play in a sand area off the lake. We didn't swim this time, but we will be more prepared next time with (she really wanted to jump on the trampoline that was in the lake)!

We loved tent camping on Kenny and Joan’s land with our dog! These are two of the most gracious hosts ever! They checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything and to remind us of the amenities. Kenny and Joan both were so kind and loved to tell stories about their land and all the wonderful animals that inhabit it. We were offered a different camp spot that was unaffected by the recent storms.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful. They gave us a tour and let us know that our area was a little muddy. They showed us other options that were dry. It was easy to communicate and loved having the kitchen and full bathroom. Nice touch you can get fresh eggs when you first arrive.

The Hosts Joan and Ken were very friendly and accommodating. Our original camp site flooded and they gave us a few options. We ended up with a spot where it was a few minute walk from the parking area and they let us use there gator to haul our things. They were both very understanding and caring when our 6 month old puppy got scared and defensive towards others and let us have space for him and us to be by ourselves and not next to others. We used the grill one night and the kitchen to do our dishes and to fill up our water. Ken was working on his sports court to have pickleball, basketball and bowling to add to the land. Overall a great stay. We fished, cooked, relaxed and had a great weekend.

We had a fantastic stay and will absolutely be back. We camped right in the shore of the lake. The setting is peaceful and beautifully cared for, with endless ways to enjoy the lake—paddle boats, a free floating dock, and a water trampoline were highlights. The bath house was very clean, the hosts were genuinely kind, and the complimentary dozen of eggs was a thoughtful surprise. The free-ranging peacocks and soft lighting around the property made it feel truly unique. Kenny is even working on a pickle ball court and basketball free throw court. Highly recommend.
