Harmony Lake - Large RV O Farm Stay
Our time at Harmony Lake was fantastic! Our boys loved working with Kenny around the farm with animals. Of course plenty of quiet relaxation, fishing, and water time. We have already spread the word to our camping friends that Harmony Lake is a must!

Site 2 - Harmony Lake - Tent Farm Stay
Ken & Joan were absolutely amazing during our stay and were as friendly as ever. This is the perfect place if you have a family, one of the main reasons we booked at this site was the access to a working bathroom and anyone with kids know how amazing this is. Me and my son were able to pick a spot on the lakeside of the property less than 10 feet from the water. We were able to wake up and only take a few steps and start fishing. During our stay Joan came out and offered my son and I a frozen Popsicle which was extremely kind as it was extremely hot outside and all of ours melted in our icebox already.
All in all I can't complain, looking forward to coming back during the fall.

Beautiful spot to stay! My kids loved the sand beach, trampoline in the water, slide into the lake, floating walkway, paddle boats, and all of the animals.

Went solo tent camping here and loved it! Only one other group and there was plenty of space. Awesome beach area on the lake and island with a floating walkway. Really beautiful land to camp on!

Excellent Family Tent Camping
Our recent 3-night tent camping trip last at this campsite was an excellent experience for our family.
Ken and Joan, the campsite owners, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They personally welcomed us to the grounds and even helped us haul our gear to our designated campsite. Their attentiveness and availability throughout our stay were remarkable.
The campsites were in great condition with plenty of shade and space, allowing for privacy while still being close to the lake and bathrooms. The firepits were great, grass was mowed, and paths were well maintained. The attention to detail and maintenance of the property were evident. Our kids had a great time fishing and playing in the water and on the sand beach area.

The space we had was awesome! We stayed with some friends and there was tons of space for our kids to play football. The hosts were more than kind and we will definitely be visiting again!!

Baby geese
It was lovely, quiet, and serene. It was a nice lake camping trip away from all the partying and boating of larger lakes. And there were baby geese!!!!!!! Our hosts were very nice. There was only one flush toilet and shower on our side of the lake. But there were baby geese. And like baby geese.

Great Hospitality
Ken and his family were very hospitable. Even during the busy Memorial Day weekend they found time to check in on us and make sure we had everything we needed. The property is gorgeous with plenty of activities to keep all busy and entertained. Ken was even kind enough to stop in to play with our dogs and bring them treats. We will be back.

Fabulous! Everything you need. Your host will make sure of that! Walks, fishing and camp fires! Had electric handy for our little camper. Got to park under the trees and enjoyed the evening breeze. Thank you!! David & Donna

Nice place to camp if not busy
The actual site where we camped was amazing! Huge trees provided an amazing canopy and blocked a lot of the sun during the heat of the day. It would’ve been nice to know that we weren’t able to park next or near our campsite like you can at most campgrounds. You have to hump everything you packed to your site - not far but didn’t know that ahead of time. Joan was very nice and helped us out with her gator and a wagon. There is only one bathroom on the grounds and it’s matched up with the only shower. Both are nice to have, but when the place is full, guess what, so is the bathroom bathing kids, dogs, using the bathroom, etc. There is ONE porta-potty available on the grounds - apparently had lot of wild life living in it, although we didn’t even both trying it out. Probably could’ve used at least 1-2 more with the amount of people camping there this weekend. My wife and daughter played in the lake a couple times and the paddle boats are a nice touch. Overall, a nice place and the grounds crew kept the place clean despite the people attempting to leave it a mess. Trying to have creature comforts available for that many people which equates to a single indoor bathroom and shower in the same room was not worth the sometimes 45 minute wait to use it. Will probably go somewhere else next time.

The hosts were very accommodating and kind. They allowed us the use of a cart and a side by side to move our gear from our truck to our site. Firewood was delivered upon request and even a stick of butter when I realized that I had forgot to bring some. We also purchased fresh eggs from the hosts. The property is very well manicured and maintained. Not a piece of trash in sight. My kids had a great time on the beach, trampoline and slide. The paddle boats were also a good time for the whole family. We caught plenty of perch and bluegill to keep the kids entertained. Had hoped to catch more crappie or bass but that didn't work out this time. The only thing we didn't particularly care for was the loudness of the peacock, rooster and geese. Other than that we had a wonderful family experience.

The beach area was great for our kids. The island was great and the paddle boats were a hit. We loved it! I will say, some of the sites were a good ways to the bathroom. With only one bathroom and shower, there was typically a wait.

Perfect Quick Getaway!
We had the best time and Ken and Joan are just wonderful folks! This was the perfect quick getaway! Just under an hour drive from Kansas City. Loved the lake and paddle-boats and all the sweet animals! There was plenty of space between the various campsites and wonderful amenities in the grill house. We were able to hook up to electric and even fill our water tank! Beautiful land! Thank you!

Beautiful property and incredibly kind and accommodating hosts. Great paddle boarding and fishing; loved the amenities surrounding the private lake, the shaded and spacious camp sites, and the adorable baby geese. We only stayed one night and wish we had been able to stay for a few more—would love to come back!

Site 1 - Small RV Farm Stay - Non Electric
Camping here was great. The hosts where friendly and very helpful. Camp site came with a nice big fire pit, picnic table, and the grass was nice and recently mowed. Beach area and paddle boats where a great plus as well. It rained a little bit during my stay and got some of my gear wet; so i left the site to go change it out for dry stuff. Before i started heading back to camp i sent the host a message asking if i could purchase more wood when i arrived back because i had burned through most of mine the night before. When i got back i was shocked, there was more wood on the picnic table for me, AND the fire was already started for me. Truly great hosts. Will definitely be back.

Excellent hospitality
Absolutely remarkable experience, Ken and Joan’s hospitality was above and beyond! They were so good with communication as well. And their place was beyond expectations, loved the scenery and the sense of privacy we had in our camp location.
I’m looking forward to visiting Harmony Lake again!
