Host hospitality she was very dry including when I asked simple questions. When arriving having clear ETA she told us she did not accept campers after dark. Proceeded to shut the gates at 8pm. I had informed her I was from a great distance away but all she said was sorry and declined all of my calls after showing up. Thankfully I was able to get a refund for the trip.

Made me feel like I was at home! Would recommend for sure those that need a proper weekend break with the family. Kiddo wanted to explore and have adventures and that is exactly what she experienced. Playing music was fun too!

Annie’s place is absolutely gorgeous! Great spots for camping along the water. We were huge fans of watching the goats. We’re already planning our next trip.

I stayed in the new A-frame, which is still a work in progress. It is a lovely space! With a wood burning stove it would be very cozy. Maybe even too warm. Annie is wonderful and made the experience very pleasant.

Annie’s Hideaway is more than just a campsite—it’s a rustic, down-to-earth sanctuary where every detail is crafted with Annie’s love and care. This is our third trip here, and the charm of this place, along with Annie’s personal touches, keeps us coming back. The new A-frame is both beautiful and rugged, fitting right into the camp’s hillbilly heart, and the handcrafted table feels like it was built just for cozy, casual gatherings.
We spent nights right under the Little Dipper, gazing up at the stars, surrounded by the rough but wonderful charm that makes this place unique. A newly made trail invites you to wander, discovering the untouched beauty of the landscape. This weekend was all about disconnecting, so we didn’t take any pictures, but the memories are vivid and unforgettable.
Annie herself is a gem, and her campground isn’t a polished retreat—it’s a real, rustic escape where you can breathe and unwind. If you’re looking for a place with soul, where you feel a little wild and wonderfully at home, Annie’s Hideaway is it.

Annie was a great host and made sure I had everything I needed. I rode my bicycle on her trails and saw lots of frogs near the pond. I would stay here again!

We loved tent camping on Annie’s land. She was so generous and accommodating, her pets sweetened our stay too ❤️ We had fun exploring the trails and creek. We will definitely be recommending this spot to our friends and coming back for another stay in the future!

Such an amazing and beautiful camp site. We enjoyed our stay and all that was included. The trail, creek, and the paddle boat were something that heightened our stay. Would definitely recommend!!

Absolutely beautiful lil property!! Lots to explore! She has a little A frame she's working on we would totally rent out! Host was super nice! Busy lady around there. :)Loved all the bridges and islands. So peaceful and had my coffee by the water ;)

My friends and I love tent camping at Annie's hideout ! This was our third time coming. The site truly is a hideout as it is so quite & has ab amazing view of the stars! 🌌🏕️

This was a quiet getaway with well maintained trails, and a great view of the stars. The weather really helped this time of year. I can tell that Angie has been and continues to work on many ideas to improve the property for guests.

This is our second trip to Annie’s Main City Hide Out and it was just as spectacular as the first time, with a few extra perks!! The perfect little hillbilly swimming pool was SO much fun, Annie provided water guns for all sorts of activities and our 10 year old FLEW down the new water slide (he had to do it three more times before he let us leave the campsite). Like always, Annie is the best host around. This is one of our absolute favorite spots for the beautiful stars, sites, and sounds of nature. 10/10

Annie was a wonderful host! It was a wonderful area to camp in with a nice stream and walking trail. She was quick to respond to any of our messages. She even offered for us to pick tomatoes from her garden.

Far enough to feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but close enough for an overnight getaway. Annie was an exceptional host and extremely accommodating. It is obvious that she works very hard to keep her land beautiful and enjoyable for her guests. I would highly recommend Annie's hideaway to anyone and everyone looking for an escape from the daily grind.

Annie was there to greet us and let us pick out the site we wanted. We chose to be by the creek in the back. There was a short trail we could walk through the woods and did some paddle boating. My partner was able to fish in the pond and in the creek off of the many bridges on the property. Best part included the super friendly cat (Goldie) who hung out with us at our site.

I loved my stay at Annie’s Hideway. Annie brought me scraps to help me with my fire. It was very quaint and I enjoyed walking around the property. Plus, Goldie the farm cat kept me company on my solo camping adventure. I would love to visit again during the summer months.

Annie’s hideaway was truly a dream for my two young boys, 3 and 5. With lots of space to run around, these wildlings could run free and enjoy the nice scenery and gorgeous weather. Annie provided firewood and kindling to help us keep extra warm water on a crisp night. We did have to show some extra caution with the bridges across the creek and by no fault of Annie, the water in the creek was extremely low, so we couldn’t enjoy the paddle boat as much as we had hoped. Regardless, my oldest has already requested we come back to see the new friend he made, camp cat Goldie. We appreciated Annie’s hospitality greatly!

THE BEST. The land was so beautiful and full of surprises and Annie was the best host. She is so creative and innovative and we had a great time exploring and relaxing as well. There was a cat, Golden, who became a part of our tribe who lives on the land as well. Such a magical place and time. The pool was so perfectly placed and the slide was so much fun. We cannot wait to come back !

We needed a place to use as a base camp for two nights while we explored the area. Annie was an accommodating and informative host, and the property has many options on where to park our trailer. Very wooded and shady property near a creek, so a few too many insects to be perfect, but it served our purposes very well. A friendly orange cat was part of the welcoming team also.

My family had the best time camping at Annie’s Hideout. She was very clear in her instructions. She was available to address any of our concerns. She was friendly and available for a chat while still maintaining our privacy. The hillbilly swimming pool was amazing. What a wonderful option! We took out the paddle boat as well. The outhouse and hot water shower was maintained and a very convenient. Her property has lots to do, we had plenty to keep us busy on site. I was impressed by all of her whimsical buildings and creative landscapes. We ventured into Drexel for supplies and found the absolute sweetest people there. The little grocer was well stocked. I was surprised by the selection. I look forward to making it a regular camping spot.

I had a wonderful stay on Annie’s large property. She was there to greet me when I arrived and showed me around. I chose an area by a little stream. Very peaceful and serene place. Annie also chatted to me before I left. She was a very accommodating and friendly host.

Such a fun trip! We fished, used the paddle boat extensively, the canoe a little, played in the river and the pond (watch out for poison ivy and water snakes along the banks), and had fun with all the bullfrogs and kitties. The bridges were fun to go over (on foot) and under (in the boats), and there were so many options on where to set up the tents and so much to explore. The outhouse with warm water sprayer hose for rinsing was super great. There were outlets available for charging. Annie shared some of her garden produce too!

Annette is super nice and helpful with a great area. Her and her cats are wonderful. Enjoyed the pool and the paddleboat along with a floating bonfire that Annie did. Will be coming back to enjoy the great camping spot. 100% remend it to friends
