Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

We live on a 15 acre farm. We have a barn, and a fenced in yard for the dogs. Much of the acreage is fenced off for cows. We have a small vegetable garden in the spring and summer and a large flower garden space in progress. There's a small pond on the property. In additions to cows, we also have chickens, barn cats, and dogs. We have a second driveway and half-circle drive for parking a camper or car, as well as flat spaces to pitch a tent. There is fishing nearby at the Amarugia Highlands Conservation Area and the city park.Pitch a tent, car camp, or park your RV. Access to bathroom*, shower*, laundry*, and fire pit area. Wifi access available. Electricity available if you bring a long enough extension cord for outdoor outlet. Electricity only available for RV with long enough cord and your own power inverter. Pets allowed, with limited use of fenced yard when not in use by our dogs. There's recreational fishing with state fishing permit at Harrisonville City lake and other area lakes (not on property). *must request access to indoor amenities at time of reservation.

I tent camped for 3 nights, while visiting my son for Father's Day. Their cow and chickens kept me company, while i was there. The directions were easy to follow and accurate. Since this was first hipcamp, I had lots questions and she was kind enough to answer them all... Would highly recommend.

I enjoyed the peace and quiet. At least until the rooster crowed 🤣 which is also incredibly charming. Said hello to the animals. Got to watch a stag making it's way across the property. Beautiful diversion from the rest of my trip to the area in a campervan.

Host was very communicative and responded quickly. Space was very rural with chickens and an old barn which gave it a very secluded feel despite the fact that the provided camping spots are very close to the owners home. The one and pretty major downside was the large security lamp that lights up the entire outside of the house where our van was parked. It was hard to sleep and doesn’t give that rural feel you’re looking for while camping outdoors.

I'm always looking forward to staying at COUNTRY COTTAGE CAMPING It's peaceful and quiet the location is a short drive from the highway it also perfect if you need to get off road for the night. The campsite can accommodate RV TRAVEL TRAILER TENT The campsite will give you a colorful sunrise that you'll just have to see for yourself, In the evenings it will reveal a star filled sky, Jamie is one of nicest people in the world And I always feel welcomed I highly recommend Country cottage

Jaime’s place was just in the right spot for a halfway stop along my route, with a real farmhouse feel in the morning and very nice and clean bathroom facilities. Totally worth it!

I wanted to try out tent camping in my truck for the first time and this was a great location for that. Host's were easy to communicate with and the location was easy to find. If you want a simple camping experience that isn't too far from the KC suburbs this is a great spot for that.

Country farm camping experience was perfect for my taking my son on his first outdoor tenting overnight. There was a great fire pit, chairs with wood fully stocked. Great family owns the land and were very hospitable.

We parked our sprinter van for the night. Property was easy to find and not too far off the interstate. We were road tripping from Indianapolis and had spent the day in independence and KS. This location was convenient to our next stop in Bentonville.

Waking up with rooster crowing took me back to my growing up on the farm days! Had the pick of anyplace b/n the house and barn, chose by the firepit under the yardlight...might choose out by the barn and hay bales mext time. Grateful for acces to the house for bath and kitchen. Very peaceful, only a few cars a day...enjoyed the atmosphere, turkeys in the field, playing the cello out in nature. Thanks for making it a pleasant stay!
