Milo has mant tent sites, car camping sites (for retroverted cars & sprinter vans), 6 cabins, a luxury guest space for you to stay! Sorry we DO NOT have any RV spots at this time. Our cabins are the Hippie Trailer, which is located near the west woods near the Fairy Forest. Then the Bunkhouse just past the big barn on the north end of the property. The lodge, where the Airbnb and pool are is centrally located on the land. We rent out the lower level guest quarters for non-campers. We have a Hobbit Hut near the Frog Pond, a Boho Bus near the entry way and several Vardos (gypsy wagons). For our tent campers there are tent sites in the Eastfield, including the Movie set location of the DM Cabin, and for diehard campers the beauty of primitive pack-in/pack-out camping of Freedom Field is a joy! Feel the energy of the sacred land.
We also have SO may attractions! There are 2 stocked ponds, miles of trails, pool, Zen garden, farm animals, a library and more. Find all the portals here!

Narrative about Selby Farm:
Selbys have lived on this farm since 1990. Doug and Brenda are retired from teaching at nearby public schools. Our Farm is now dedicated to boarding retired horses for their owners.
We practice rotational grazing for the health of the horses and the health of our pastures. The horses live in a herd as they would in the wild. Basically, they are hanging out with their friends! They also get regular care and feed and so are VERY happy. You will see and probably interact with the horses if you wish. They are guaranteed to come closer if you have treats like carrots and apples slices.
Our quiet county road used to be the main road along the river. A hundred years ago it was called "Shanty Road". The shacks that were along it housed workers that harvested food from farms in the river bottom. The only evidence of those shacks now is perrenial flowers growing in unusual places. The area is inhabited by professionals working in nearby towns and cities. In fact there are only five homes along our 1.5 mile section of Copps Chapel Road.
The Missouri River is on the far side of the bottoms now, but has been very close historically. There is also a large spring flowing from a cave nearby. These river hills are composed of soils blown in from the end of the last ice age. Being near the river, erosion has cut down the surrounding area making the scenic topography associated with Missouri River valleys and river hills.

The pasture is quite visible from Old Route 66, nearly adjoining it. Therefore people traveling “the Mother Road” find it convenient to stay with us. Grass is the best forage for horses, especially older ones, so we take care of our pastures, making for beautiful scenery for campers, too. Plus the entire back mile is bordered by old forest. And there is a swimming hole not a half mile away.
This is a quiet and private site, bordered by a neighbor's old forest on back, other neighbor's cattle pasture on side, and you're in one of the pastures used by the Horse Sanctuary. (You are camping about 1/4 mile, more or less, from our house.)
We regularly see coyote, wild turkeys, deer, fireflies, and the like.
We are just 1/2 mile off Old Route 66, therefore there are quirky little museums and great restaurants (for such a rural area!).
Plus we are only about an hour's drive from Branson. MO. which is a known tourist attraction.

Located only 50 miles SE of Kansas City, MO! We have woods and pasture with Settle's Ford Wildlife area (fishing and hiking available) 1/4 mile away. Camping is primitive with only an outhouse and no shower facilities. There are MANY thorn trees, so hikers must have proper footwear. Fire ring, wood and a grate for cooking are provided. Livestock encounters are also available with owners in attendance. All proceeds are put back in the farm to care for the animals and the land. Parking area is at the end of the driveway and a cart is provided to take your gear across the bridge. We love kids and will provide lawn darts or any other games we have available if requested. Kathy and Robert were great hosts! They provided us with information on the area and made sure to let us know that if we needed anything we just had to ask. We loved the quiet little cabin and the hikes we could take on the property where you might see a peacock, a cow, squirrel or one of the friendly livestock guarding dogs. We had everything we needed for cooking. It was an enjoyable stay.

Weekend Trip to Rock Wall Ranch LLC
We were the first guests to try out the dome tent! It was such a neat experience. It was my husbands and my first camping trip so it was trial and error on our end of things. As we navigated our trip, the host was quick to reply and just as quick with helping us. We loved the property, and felt comfortable. The dome was located at the end of a field area with some fending around it. It gave us a secure feeling while we slept at night. There are several cabins on the property and they appeared quite charming.They felt distant enough for us to have privacy. We plan on coming back with our children this summer, so that should tell you how much we loved this trip! We felt very special due to the positive experience tr we received. We had some issues pop up with getting too warm, but a fan and portable ac was provided. We had to end up placing some tarps over the dome to help keep the area cool. It was a learning experience for all of us. We enjoyed giving the dome a shot, and we enjoyed sharing our experiences with the host :-)

Plenty of room for my 40' RV. EXTREMELY friendly owners. Beautiful lake with birds I've never seen in Missouri before! Lovely cleared path hike around the lake.
Lots of rock so be sure you have proper shoes.

What a wonderfully, peaceful and beautiful campground. We usually take off to go adventuring during the days but this place was so peaceful and relaxing we ended up not going anywhere for two full days. The bathhouse is perfect. Super clean and they even have coffee available plus cold drinks, wood and ice for sale.
The host is super responsive and helpful. Never missed a beat when we reached out which is wonderful.
They also have super cool looking glamping tents out in a separate field area from the RV sites.
And the night skies....OH! The night skies!! Incredibly beautiful and we were there during a full moon which made it even better.
One note...there is a 4.5 mile dirt road to get to the campground. I say this because some people might see reference to it and pass this place by. DO NOT DO THAT!!!
The dirt road is really well maintained and flat. No big ruts or bumps. In fact, we checked out the rig the day we left right before we got onto SR72 and nothing inside had moved between the campground and the highway. We both said that this dirt road is better than US highways like I-10, I-80 and others around the county. Plenty wide enough and all the trees on either side well cut back. Seriously....don't let the dirt road change your mind.
If you want a peaceful place where you can just chill and enjoy the woods then please, don't pass this place up. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

3 nights at Delightful 1 bedroom peaceful tiny house
I had a great little break from life, couldn't have been much better. Comfortable bed, hot shower and claw foot tub, even some tasty coffee and snacks. I'll be back!

This was a fantastic break from a long road trip. Arrived well before nightfall so arrival was easy and we had plenty of time to explore and hang out with the animals! Decided to stay a bit longer than anticipated the next morning because it was such a relaxing atmosphere. The spot is well kept and comfortable. Definitely saving this on my list for any time I’m coming through town

The yurts are adorable and comfy. We enjoyed the peace, quiet, and privacy of the property all to ourselves. The bathhouse is fantastic! So clean and cozy. Really appreciated the free coffee! The creek isn’t always present apparently, but the hiking trails are well kept. Was neat to pet the horses and sit in the rocking chairs outside the bathhouse to see the sunset.

Customer service here is great. We had an issue at our site upon arrival from the previous campers; the attendant onsite came promptly and took care of the problem.
