Jungle Creek is worth the hike!
There's something really special about Milo Farm. The land is beautiful and the grace and positive intention that Loni and her people put into it is clear and refreshing. For those open to it, I highly recommend booking an oracle reading with Loni during your stay. She's an excellent intuitive and surprised us with some very inspiring ideas, as well as tips and sights to see around the land. We will be back!

Site 2 - Freedom Field @ Milo Farm
Great intro to camping for family!
Milo Farm would be the ideal place for a person or family to dip their toe into pack in/pack out style camping. The camp sites are far enough away from parking that you'll get to test out your gear, but when you inevitably remember something you left back at the car it's not a big deal to go back and get it.
If you're not into backpacking, just make sure to bring a small wagon to help you haul your gear. Milo Farms does have a couple, but on a busy day you might have to wait.
Everyone there that we talked to was exceptionally friendly to us and especially to our kids. No one minded them running around the open fields trying to find the donkeys and goats and generally just being kids. Side note: lately they've been going through a phase where they can't seem to spend more than 10 minutes in the same room without fighting, but during our stay they went on several adventures together exploring the fields and trails. This alone was worth the trip!

Mindful, playful and spiritual camp
This is my second weekend visit to Milo Farm and its absolutely incredible. If you're on the fence about staying here, do it. The walking trails are clearly marked and full of hidden surprises. The farm animals are adorable and friendly. Two words: BABY GOATS! I would call the Bunkhouse a lower case 'g' glamping experience. And I loved it. Loni is a wonderful free spirit and a generous, responsible steward of her sacred land. I am so grateful for my time there and we are planning more trips this summer!

We really enjoyed the bunkhouse cabin! Would recommend anyone looking to stay. Everything was clean and camp ground was really quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our daughter loved the farm animals!

Milo Farm Camping!
I stopped at Milo Farm while on a road trip. Loni was kind, hospitable, and understanding. I felt so welcomed by Loni and the animals. It was a beautiful place with lots to see and do! Hoping to stay again on my way back home to explore the land more :-)

I love the Hippie Trailer!! Milo Farm is one of my favorite places to take my kiddos. Not only are the accommodations cozy and cute, but the fills who manage and reside on the property are delightful and beautiful souls. So much love for Milo, and especially the Hippie Trailer. Absolutely the perfect weekend camping at site #2 with my 6 year old daughter. This was her first camping trip and we loved the vibe at Milo's. Even had breakfast with the donkey on our last morning. Highly recommend and we will be going back!!

Great spot with plenty of room for activities. We'll be heading back because a bit of rain kept us from exploring all of the trails/acreage, the space is so accommodating to a medium/larger sized group, and its convenient proximity to KC.

Had a magical time at this beautiful farm. I stayed in the hippie trailer and it was glorious. Every time I thought I hit every trail I’d find another beautiful path. Perfect if your looking for a more spiritual journey, wish I stayed longer. 11/10 recommend!

Very well kept land! Beautiful sunset. Amazing place you feel like it's your own. Felt safe and nobody bothered us. Very private and secluded. Be ready to carry all your supplies a little way down the path to choice of camping area. Definitely will be going back to visit soon! Thank you for sharing your little piece of earth with us!

Kept warm and had a great time.
We loved the funky bunkhouse and the farm. We were warm even though the temps dropped into the teens. We met the animals who were all friendly and adorable. Despite the cold we loved exploring the trails and finding interesting things along our journeys. Our boys ages 4,7, and 11 loved the experience. We loved our our dogs could come with us as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. We definitely plan to visit again on a warmer weekend.

Site 10 - Freedom Field @ Milo Farm
Loni’s land is absolutely beautiful! We had a 15 passenger van and a trailer and we were gratefully accommodated with ample parking. It was a very short hike down to Freedom Field and even in winter with no leaves on the trees it felt serene. There are plenty of great spots to set up tents, wether you like open space, or tree covered areas you can find plenty. There are also plenty of spaces to hang hammocks for you hammock camping folk. Lance was awesome and extremely helpful, he gave a couple of the guys a ride down on the UTV and brought our firewood straight to campsite. Directions to get there are very simple and clear. Would highly recommend this spot for any one passing through or looking to get away from the rustle and bustle.

Hippie Trailer @ Milo Farm
My stay at Milo Farms was better than I could have ever expected! I arrived after dark and Lance noticed right away and helped me haul my stuff up to the Hippie Trailer (which is pretty far and up a steep hill, so I was thankful to see his gator pull up). He also pointed out where the outhouse was🙏. First things i noted were a beautiful view of the full moon and the outhouse was very clean and well maintained. The next morning I explored the property and all of its trails. There are so many cool things to see! I think the gnome home was my favorite spot or maybe the tree of wisdom. I visited with the farm animals, which are the highlight of the stay. There was a little black baby goat that is a BIG snuggler. He followed me around and kept nuzzling his face into my coat or in between my legs. Such a sweetie. The big brown guy with a beard was also very sweet and affectionate. None of the animals compare to Plato and Maya though. These are two of the sweetest donkeys with so much personality. Plato does such a good job protecting the herd of animals. When we first met, I was petting the little black goat and he came up and made sure I knew he could turn his butt quick if I tried any funny business. We became best buds by the end of my stay though and he kept biting at my clothes when it was time for me to leave. (I'm very familiar with donkeys, please don't read this and let them chomp on ya. They have strong jaws). I'm running out if space but it was amazing! Thank you!!!

Second visit to the trailer!
This was my second trip to the trailer and it was cool to see that there were a couple additional items in it for guest's comfort. I stayed at a cold time (temps around 30), so layered up in addition to using the heater. I like the trailer because it's a great place for reflection and enjoying the moment. The daily visits from the farm's animals fill me with delight and childlike wonder and the trails are perfect for walking meditation. I'll be back again, probably a bunch!

This whole farm had such a calming vibe. My favorite areas were the Tree of Wisdom and the Gnome Home trail, but loved being on all of trails. The Hippie Trailer was super cozy and was excellent for a solo getaway for a mom of 4 young kids.

I really enjoyed the campsite. It was beautiful and a lot things to discover on the trails. The campsite had a grill, table, and fire ring and a trash can. So it was equipped well.
It was a nice hike to the campsite so if you have quite a few things, go ahead and rent the golf cart. It's worth you money. Also, there isn't good mobile phone access so consider that.
I would stay again with some friends.

The land is so peaceful and lovely! Many trails to wander through and it's close enough to town that if you forget anything, you can run out to grab it at any of the shops in Grain Valley, but still far enough away that you can see the stars at night.

Nice place! We camped with our dogs in Freedom Field where there is plenty of space to spread out. The farm animals were fun to meet, though our dogs were scared of the donkeys lol
