Seven Oaks is our home. There are 40 acres of hardwood timber on the Platte river and 10 acres of grass and wildflowers; Miles of rustic trails for hiking or biking, some appropriate for hayrides; picnic table and a 300 sq. ft. treehouse with hammocks for relaxation; Play a game of Cornhole; Fish in our pond or the Platte river. Kayak available but must use life vests. We are 15 minutes from Smithville lake boat ramp. We are limiting the 40 acres of timber to five groups of campers to provide privacy and seclusion for all. Topside RV/Camper Site includes the newly refurbished 28 ft. camper that sleeps 4 comfortably. The Hickory Forest RV/tent site has water and RV power hookups available. The lower level has three other tent camp sites available. WARNINGS! Hazards on our property include, but are not limited to: Biting insects, wild animals, dead fall trees (especially on the river bottom), slick and muddy approach to the river. In general, keep in mind you are camping in a timber and nature happens!Site 1 - water and RV power hookups and is comfortably situated in our Hickory Forest area. A large open area with lots of room to spread out. A large fire pit area and picnic table nearby, and access to the structure with a flushable toilet, sink and outdoor shower while centrally located to all hiking and biking trails, a short walk down to the river, or the tree house.

Hickory Forest RV Camp Site
Just What We Needed
Wonderful 3 nights at this beautiful place. Lots of shady space, we had two small tents and set up our campfire down towards the treehouse. The included firewood was a huge plus. The property is lovely and so well maintained. We can’t wait to go back and explore more.

River Bottom Tent Camp Site
Great place! Multiple places to set up camp along the riverside. He has multiple trails cleared around the property as well. You can fish in his pond and put in/pull out kayaks from the river (if you don't mind lugging up a little bit of an incline). He had wood set out for us, Tiki torches ready up at the barn, and gave us a walking tour of the property when we arrived. Great place to get away and relax.

Hickory Forest RV Camp Site
Hickory Forest was wonderful. Reminded me of my dad's property on the other side of MO. JQ has paths al through the woods. My dog loved it too. We were only there for a day, but we took a walk down by th river, and my dog went swimming. Just great!
