Bill and Nancy were so kind, you can tell how much work and care they put into their property over the last 40 years to make it a magical experience with an emphasis on kids and families in mind. I loved going down to the creek with the kids and looking for fossils(there is an abundance of unique fossils!) skipping rocks, and jumping across the stepping stones. Watching my son and his friend play so freely made me feel extremely nostalgic, we live in the suburbs and theres not as many opportunities to allow the kids to run around and have free reign the way they were able to on the farm. I got to talk to the owners for a while and hear some of their story, each and every facet of the property has a unique history and personal story behind it, you can feel the memories made in the space. Bill is a very handy craftsman and artist and he was behind many of the structures on the farm along with other creatives over the years. We brought our two small dogs and they did a great job keeping pets in mind with the design, we had a fenced yard that the dogs could stay in while we explored, unfortunately one of our kiddos left our gate open and one of our dogs got out later in the evening, I messaged the owners and they got up and found my dog! I was really worried because of how open the space was. Truly wonderful people, and a truly wonderful farm with many opportunities for family fun and interacting with nature. 10/10 would recommend.

Fun Family Farm -Tent Camping
Pretty country setting with lots of things for kids to do. Bill and Nancy were very accommodating and graciously visited with us, answering our hundred questions about rural life. Night stars were beautiful.

Everything about this place is awesome. The hosts, the playground, the creek, the tree house, the dogs, the sunsets. Bill and Nancy are amazing people! Jacques and Angie are the sweetest doggies, and Jacques' trail guiding is top notch! Myself and the 4 10/11 year old boys who stayed overnight are all ready to come back again very soon!

It’s just a crazy, fun time when we visit this place. The uniqueness of each structure, the honest, simplicity of it all is so very special.
Our children & grandchildren were thrilled to get out & explore the beautiful, pastoral, Kansas countryside. The yellow school bus & pond are the true highlights for them. But the new treehouse & swing near the sandbox were also a hit.
I enjoyed the expansive sky filled with stars, the outdoor shower & of course the quacking ducks as they slide down into their own personal kiddie pool.
The hosts are generous & extremely accommodating & share wonderful stories…just like family.
I’m sure we will be back a third time!

My kids were ready to move in forever. Very thoughtful and helpful hosts. Nice walking path. The sleeping arrangement was more comfortable than I expected. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future weekend getaways.

The Fun Family Farm is absolutely amazing! We’ve been here multiple times and it is always such a blast. There are tons of various activities to do for the kids. Our favorite is to play in the creek! Bill and Nancy are some of the kindest people in the world!!

Super friendly owners and a beautiful farm with plenty of amenities and so many fun things to do! Swimming in the pond was great, the creek had so many cool fossils and we woke up to a ton of cows on the hillside which was so much fun for my son. Jock was such a sweet dog and my dog loved him a lot! Highly recommending staying here.

Great spot for tent camping! We especially enjoyed the pond with slide and barges for the kids to play on as well as the sand pit with diggers. So fun!

Bill and Nancy are very nice and friendly people. Their campsite offers a variety of places to stay the night.
If you need anything, they are willing to provide the things you need.

We (family of 4) were traveling from south LA to Badlands national park and needed a stop over that didn’t require setting up our tent. It was perfect. Wish we could’ve explored more but it lightly rained all night and while we packed back up in the morning. Bill was super sweet and helpful!! Jacques, their lab, is also super sweet! Safe and quiet. The white bus was just a little small however the mattresses were so comfy and so far on our road trip camping and even at an Airbnb they were the most comfortable. We got a great night of sleep!

If you're looking to stay on a farm this is the place! Our children loved all of the activities - multiple swings, trampoline, pond, creek, tree house, and looking at all of the animals. The buses could have been a little cleaner but they have AC so that's nice for the hot days.

Such a sweet spot and hosts. Our dog was over the moon to run and play with other doggies after so many hours in the car. Slept great in the yellow bus. We look forward to visiting again!!

Thank you so much, Bill and Nancy! My stay was everything I hoped for and more. The nature around your place is absolutely stunning. I loved doing my meditations by the pond and even took a peaceful nap under the tree with birds hopping from branch to branch. So calming! The welcome fire was perfect, and I got to build my own by the pond as the sun was setting. Honestly, this being my first Hipcamp, I’m so glad I trusted my gut and picked your spot. And Jacque, the dog, was the best tour guide around the property! Can’t wait to come back and explore the treehouse next time. Sending love and blessings your way! 💕
P.S. I can’t wrap this up without mentioning the adorable duck parade! Watching them march and slide into their pool was hands down the most fun thing I’ve ever seen—such a treat! Thank you so much 💕

Our time at the fun family farm was probably THE BEST camping trip we have ever had. It was the best combination of fun and relaxation. Our highlights were the creek full of fossils, all of the animals on the farm (especially jock the dog who our kiddos truly wanted to take home), the playgrounds/activities, and the true serenity of being part of nature. Bill and Nancy are some of the kindest people we have met and provide so much joy and fun to the farm. They have activities for every age from play grounds and sandboxes for the littles, swings and giant Jenga for the middles, and horse shoe and pool and corn hole for the older. There are so many hidden treasures on the farm and your kiddos will stay busy!! The farm also provides such serenity as you wonder through nature and you listen to the crickets/cicadas and cows by day and the owls and coyotes by night. We also spent countless hours in the creek!! We are already looking forward to our next camping trip. WE LOVE THE FUN FAMILY FARM!!!!

We arrived later in the evening than expected and Bill and Nancy were kind, generous hosts. They let us sleep in the bus that slept 3 with our dogs. After a long day on the road we were so grateful for the space. We didn’t get to see the farm since we were up early and on the road, but the starry night was beautiful. Can’t thank the hosts enough!

Very nice property and very nice people! Make sure you pack well as the nearest option for goods is about 15-20 minutes away. Lots to do here like play in the creek, walk a few cow trails, dip in a pond, rope swing, sand box, and some farm animals to say hello to. I highly recommend staying with Bill and Nancy. You will come as a stranger and leave as a friend.

We loved our stays at Bill and Nancy’s while driving cross-country from CT. We stayed two nights, one of them in a tent by the pond and the other in the little blue building. Both had their perks and the property was very peaceful. We enjoyed walking around, watching the cows, admiring all the fireflies and the spacious, starry sky as well as befriending the farm dog, Jock. We felt safe and comfortable here and would recommend it for adults and children both!
