Tent Camping under the Trees
The property is great with good views. The campsite itself featured nice tree cover, a big fire pit and picnic table. Big disappointment was the fact that there was tons of broken glass all over the camp site. Not safe for pets or children. Saw this in previous reviews but also saw that is was “cleaned up”. Definitely needs some attention.

We had a great time camping under the trees! The site is spacious, well shaded and has plenty of privacy. Drew communicated really quickly and the site was easy to find. Such a great weekend camping trip!

Tent Camping under the Stars
Private - under trees not stars
The campsite was very private which we really enjoyed. However, we thought we had booked a camping experience under the stars and we were in a campsite under trees. The listing states that Drew will meet you in the parking lot, but we never did see him. We had to reach out to him and find out where to go. I would have preferred better communication and a more detailed description of the campsite.

Quiet and Peaceful
It's a nice, private place to relax and camp. The breeze off the water and trees kept temperatures down. The bathroom/showers are a great perk. It was quiet at night and mostly during the day except when atvs and bikes were at the offroad vehicle area nearby. It was just us during the week, for the most part. We explored the area and found all kinds of wildflowers and lizards and things and enjoyed the view of the water. Drawback was unusual number of broken/ melted glass bits on the ground at the campsite around firepit and trees, from previous irresponsible campers.

Pretty site but glass & noise
Overall our stay went well, the site was pretty and felt very secluded. However, as other reviewers have noted, there is a LOT of glass shards on the floor of the site - very hazardous for pets or children. For a crew of adults only it wouldn’t be a problem but I was worried for my pup. The amenities were great, the shower is probably nicer than the one at my house, and while it is a couple minute walk to the bathroom it’s not bad at all. The campsite is on the land of a wedding venue and there was a wedding on that we could hear all the noise of. It wasn’t an issue for us but if you’re looking for a quiet spot this might not be it.

Kansas private getaway!
Cute little camp! The property is a wedding/event site but they have the camping area tucked in the corner. The glamping site is really cool as well. Very private and shaded. 5 stars for the bathroom/shower, better than most hotels. Highly recommend for any going near Manhattan, KS!

Drew's site was gorgeous and quiet. There was a wedding on the property while we were there which didn't detract from our experience at all. The bathrooms are a great bonus for campers who want to cleanup before leaving. I'm sure we'll be back!

Great camp site! My third time here because this is one of the best in Kansas if you tent camp. Private spot with a secluded feel. But a short walk to a stocked shower/bathroom. Other people and activities on the grounds sometimes but never bothers you here.

Nice site in the shade!
Conveniently close to the Tuttle Creek ORV park. Actually shares boundary with park. Site is well protected from the wind by trees. Amazing 5 star restrooms and showers. I was there in early spring, but it looked like the grounds of the are would be beautiful with native wild flowers and grasses.

One of my favorites.
2nd time staying at this site. Great site location with a secluded feel, while still having amenities like a shower/bathroom a short walk away. Site works great for roof top tents, hammocks or ground tents. Great communication with the host. I will stay here again. Nearby off-road park gets a little loud on the weekends sometimes but doesn't bother me (also a perfect location if you are planning on using the OHV park).

Great camping spot
I would highly recommend this campsite. The views were beautiful and there’s a big grassy open spot to play frisbee or lawn games and it was peaceful and quiet. After reading the other reviews -we brought our own fire pit and a table. There are no picnic tables but there actually was a spot for a campfire. Thank you Drew! We plan to come back.

Perfect for 2 families
This was a great private camp site! We had shade trees, a fire pit with wood, and plenty of space for our tents and two vehicles.
We had access (up a trail with a great view) to clean and well stocked bathrooms and showers.
This site felt safe, was private but accessible, and had a neat area for the kids to explore and play. We did not have access to the lake, but we visited a swimming beach on our way out of town.
The host was always available with help and instructions. Both families had a great time camping under the trees. We hope to visit again!

This site was incredibly beautiful and secluded. There is a nice shower house and indoor bathrooms, a fire pit and water right on the site. You can drive right up to the edge of the camping field. The only downside is the amount of mosquitoes that show up at night, but that’s to be expected as it’s near the lake. Recommend this site if you have a dog!

Tent Camping with Amazing Views
Beautiful property, big mishap
The campsite that I booked was beautiful. A large field of grass for plenty of room to spread out, fire pit close by and electric (110 amp, need adapter for rv/camper van) and water.
No one approached us when we arrived so we searched around and found the area we reserved. The views of Tuttle Creek Lake really were amazing.
The second day after breakfast we headed out to get on the lake. As we arrived, I received a text from Drew about a change in our campsite. He asked that we come back so he could get us to the 'right place' due to a wedding that evening. We returned and had to move our three tents and a canopy across the property to a site without electric or water.
Drew shared his mistake for double booking the space and did everything he good to accommodate us at the new space. He attempted running multiple hoses and extension cords from the house to keep my camper van (and fridge of food) running for the duration.
All in all we would love to return to the original camp spot we booked. It was private and stocked with amenities. I would just recommend extensive communication with Drew about expectations before arrival. The mishap was an honest mistake but really interrupted the weekend's plans and wore us out in the hot sun.
**Only thing missing from the property is lake access, which we drove twenty minutes away to enjoy. Still- we would camp here again

I was so happy to find this place! Couldn’t imagine a place more peaceful and beautiful to be. Drew was very friendly and communicative through text and the property is just gorgeous. I slept in the field under the stars and it was glorious. Far exceeded my expectations!

This spot was incredible. The view was prob one of the best on our 5000 mile trip...sorry Grand Tetons got ya beat. ;-) The property is a gem which seems to be used as a wedding venue often, which means you have access to real bathrooms and fresh water.

This was a breathtakingly beautiful spot to camp. Super level ground, lots of privacy and endless views of Tuttle Creek Lake. Right up the hill from us was a lovely facility with bathrooms. Hope we get to come back and stay here again one day!

Nice peaceful, scenic escape!
Beautiful spot for camping! Plenty of room to spread out, very quiet and peaceful, and access to bathrooms were great. There was minimal shade so it did get hot during the day. One recommendation would be to add a table on site for campers. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay

Tent Camping with Amazing Views
Property has nice views. There is an event center on site and multiple different camp sites. Lake access is difficult, muddy and not good for swimming. The bugs/mosquitos were pretty bad at night. Drew was a great host and made sure we found a good spot even when we came in very late.
