Edgewater Beach Resort is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. There are 2 RV sites at Edgewater that are located just a few feet from the water's edge. Lake Taneycomo is a cold- water lake that is famous for trout fishing. The resort has 3 docks that you can fish off of. You can also fish anywhere along the water's edge. Each RV site has water, sewer, and electric hookups, wifi, a private picnic table, and a private firepit/ grill. The sites are separated by a privacy fence for the utmost privacy. The resort has boat rentals, a fish cleaning station, an outdoor pool that is open from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend, a playground, and a laundry room. I also have boat slips available to rent for $25 a night. The resort is next to Empire Park which has lots of fishing spots, a playground, a disc golf course, and walking trails. The resort is 16 miles from The Branson Landing. You can get there by car or boat. Ask me about adding a boat slip to your reservation or about getting a discount for a long-term stay. I offer a 25% discount for stays of a month or more. Boat rentals are available at the resort. I have a link I can send to make a reservation in advance. We stay open all year round! Please note, the water spigots at the RV sites can't be turned on if the outdoor temperature is below freezing. *Lake Taneycomo will look different based on the seasons, weather, and the flow of water in the lake. It is common to see a large amount of duckweed in the lake, especially in the coves, during periods of high heat. It isn't attractive, but it is harmless. The maintenance crew at the resort constantly works to keep the coves looking as nice as possible, but it is a natural body of water, so there's only so much that can be done.*

Sunset Mountain is an exclusive reservation only 18+ clothing optional/nudist campground located on my working cattle farm. We are not a place for partying or any sexual activity or PDA. Although we cater to adults only we follow TNSF and AANR guidelines for social nude recreation. If you are not familiar with TNSF or AANR you can do a quick internet search and see some basic guidelines for social nude recreation. Sunset Mountain does typically operate as a blind service venue meaning we do business online and we and or our maintenance team may not be seen during your stay. We have a good team in place to help your stay be enjoyable please just understand we don’t operate like some of the nudist clubs you may be used to. Sunset Mountain is a nice quiet place to relax and work on your tan. We have RV sites, tent camping areas and overlanding sites. As lodging options we have a converted bus and shipping container. The campground has a bathroom facility with indoor shower and seasonal outdoor showers. We have a hot tub and propane grill guests can use year round along with hiking trails in the summer and a swimming pool. Sunset Mountain is near the Elk River in Noel Missouri and close to Northwest Arkansas where there are mountain biking trails, museums and many other activities. Sunset Mountain is listed on the Monarch Butterfly Waystation registry as well. We are located 1.2 miles away from the Noel city park that has free Elk River access, 4 miles to Mt. Shira free Elk River access near Shady Beach and 5.2 miles to the free Elk River access in Pineville, MO near Shady Beach Pineville. If you are not tech savvy enough to use this platform our facility may not be for you.

The two sites are separated from each other, but both have access to the lake, including kayaks, a canoe, a paddleboat, excellent fishing, a boat-ramp, floating dock and a one-mile perimeter nature/hiking trail. *** NOTE *** From January until early May, the lake level is dropped about five (5) feet, so boating and fishing access range from difficult to impossible (though, arrowhead hunting is a fun activity you might enjoy during the low water months!). Primative Campsite - A private 1.5 acre campsite with a firepit (and plenty of wood to burn in it) and direct access to the Lake of the Ozarks. The gravel sites overlook 92 acres of forest and are approximately 50 feet long and 35 feet wide. Even 40-foot-plus fifth wheels fit comfortably when the tow vehicle is parked beside the rig. Nightly stays only are allowed, with a maximum stay of 28 days. Campfires are welcome in the provided fire rings, barring any burn-ban restrictions. While the RV sites are located closer to the top of the property, beautiful Ozark Mountain hiking trails lead down to a seasonal creek that runs west to east across the acreage. Please note that these trails are not groomed, and some are more difficult than others. Thank you for being mindful of other guests who may be renting the cabin farther down the property while hiking. There is plenty of wildlife and beautiful scenery to enjoy, along with stunning sunrises and sunsets!

We loved our 3 night stay at 38 Special! The grounds were pristine! The facilities featured 6 clean, individual shower/bathrooms with laundry machines in the building as well. The outdoor grilling area was spot on and was right next to the gorgeous infinity pool that overlooked the lake. Swim beach was soft sand and had a great platform to jump off of. You could also rent boat slips at a very reasonable price! Sarah was an excellent host and we will be back again!

This was a great place for an overnight stay. The host was very nice with great communication. The site was level and easy to get into. It has good 50amp electric plug. We just needed 30 amp but we always carry an adapter. Places like this is exactly why we use HipCamp.

Weekend Trip to Gateway RV Camping

This was the perfect getaway for the extended weekend! The spots were wonderfully maintained and spaced generously with beautiful flower beds:) with a deck and a picnic table! (And full hookups) The gated property felt secure and tucked away from the main road. It also has great signal if your carrier uses T-Mobile towers if you care about that. Super convenient only 10-15mins from anything but far enough away to have gorgeous scenery and no crowds. Victor and his family were the perfect hosts and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for! They even took time out of their busy day to take us to some of the wonderful hiking trails on the property! Side note bring bug spray if you plan to go hiking. (It's a no-brainer, but lot of little friends like to tag along otherwise:) We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer! 10 out of 10 would visit again!

Simply the best! Beautiful waterfront location. Every amenity that you need or want. Easy booking and fantastic communication. This was our third stop on our first RV trip, and definitely the best. We have been spoiled forever after visiting 38 Special. Everything is clean and easy to access. The pool was perfect, plus there are gas grills available in the covered pool patio. We used the gas grills for easy cooking every day. Bathhouse was clean and has private rooms for shower/toilet/sink. We also took advantage of a boat rental right from the docks at the camp. Chef’s kiss perfection! Sarah is the manager and you could not get a better host! Thank you so much for a fabulous visit, can’t wait to come back!

The location was incredibly peaceful. So much better than staying at a RV park in the area (non of them looked very pleasant). Electric hookup worked great, would have loved a dedicated water hook up, but they were nice enough to let us refill our tanks from their hydrant. Would stay again if we ever needed.

This s is a quiet campground. Needs updated, picnic tables are old, and nearly rotten, but the camp sites are clean and we would stay again. Didn’t use any of the amenities offered. So can’t speak to those. We had no issues with our water, sewer, or 50 amp while there.

4 nights at Gasconade Hills Resort

The host was very accommodating. We arrived in the middle of the night and they worked with us for a quick and easy setup. Full hookup was conveniently located and worked well. Restrooms/showers were updated and clean. Very nice property and despite Mother Nature dealing them a few ruff blows, they are working diligently to continue improvements on their property.

Weekend Trip to The Happy Camper

Every thing was perfect. No noise, we were just hanging out and being us. I loved how they loved our dogs. The campsite owners were great. We had a fantastic time. Definitely would recommend.😁
