Site 12- Riverbend Primative
Had a great experience at this campground! We originally reserved spot 12 but got upgraded to 13 (closer to the river) by the owner, due to not many campers being out there! It was a beautiful private spot. Appreciated the facilities and amenities and enjoyed the views immensely.

Site 8 - Riverbend Campground
The campground was clean and in a quiet country setting. Steve was very nice and called us a few minutes after we arrived to if we had any questions. Definitely follow Steve's directions to get to the campsite. We made the mistake of following Google's directions on our way in. Didn't do that again! I would recommend this campground and we'll definitely stay there again in the future.

Nice, woodsy atmosphere. Sites are a bit close and exposed, but we enjoyed our stay! Think this campground has lots of potential.

The host was great, the bathroom was clean, site 8 was nice and sunny, and we had the best guard dog that the kids adored (named temporarily snowball). Will be back!

Easy to find and good location near ha ha tonka and the lake. Tidy sites and wifi was good to have since signal was sparse. Would definitely stay again.

Nice gravel sites, reasonably level. Water, power, and sewer. Small bathroom with shower, but clean. Very quiet here, only the sound of the wind through the trees. Follow the directions to the area given by the owner, Steven. Don't follow Google maps. There will be a section on a gravel road, not bad, but just slow down. Some restaurants and Dollar General within about 10 minute drive. Pretty much anything else you could need within 20-25 minutes. This is a good value, and we would happily stay again.

We reserved a tent spot a few weeks before our trip. On the day of our trip, the host called me to tell me the tent area is a little bit crowded from a large party in the other tent spot and that I should stay in an RV spot instead. When we arrived I walked over to see and decide what we wanted to do and saw that the tent spot we had reserved was occupied by someone else, not overflow from a large party from the next spot. Not sure if they double booked the spot or something but we were not able to stay in the spot we had chose, and had to stay in the RV spot instead. I specifically picked this campsite because the nearby public campsites only had RV spots available, and here I could stay in a tent spot. I reserved and paid for this spot more than 2 weeks before my trip and expected to get what I chose.

Loved camping here! Directions clear to get there, little bath house was clean and much appreciated. Steven checked in to see if we needed anything which was thoughtful. 10/10 would recommend this spot!

Great camp grounds, very clean and quiet. Site 10 is by far the best rv site. We will definitely be staying there again in the future. Just a few prep notes for the tent campers/pop-up campers with no toilets:
There is currently only one super clean toilet/shower. I'd suggest bringing a portable toilet or bucket and cover for emergency bathroom issues. Bring a couple rolls of tp just incase the restroom hasn't been restocked. Other than that grounds are beautiful. They're finishing up the build on the store, can't wait to come back and see it finished.

In my opinion we had the best primitive site there! Down a sketchy tree covered little road that dead ends or especially becoming too rough for a vehicle to continue down to the water. The occasional walker would walk down to the water, but other than that it was nothing but solitude on this Labor Day weekend!! The bath house is almost uncomfortably small, but I won’t complain about having hot water and a shower!

The view is beautiful. We tent camped with no issues except for the rocky ground,the tent stakes would not go down. The river access was close and pretty cool.
There was no firewood for sale, had to travel down to a local gas station to buy firewood. The dollar general doesn't have firewood. (That was his suggestion) with the holiday weekend it would of been nice to have available without having to leave to get firewood. We had ample space and our 3 dogs had a great time. Overall it was a good stay.
The bridge is a little sketchy, no guard rail.
We are trying out different hip camps. This was a good one. I would suggest a bigger sign and there was no American flag for location verification.

My wife and I came with our kids mid-summer 2025, and had such a great time we came back without them later that summer. The camp is very peaceful, tucked back far enough to achieve some seclusion but not so far you have to drive forever to get there. It is clean and well-kept, and all the functions and amenities (power, water, sewer, restrooms, shower, etc.) worked without a hitch. Lower number sites have more shade, higher number if you don't a tree cover. We didn't need help from Steven but he reached out ahead of time and was clearly available for whatever.

Great quiet spot! Level parking areas no issues here. The bridge to come into the property is a hair sketchy with all the traffic and people swimming and hanging out. Otherwise great spot.

Provide an altenate route to the campground. We didn't stay because a wooden bridge that crossed a creek did not have a weight limit sign. Fearing our RV may be too heavy, we went elsewhere.
Contacted the RV park owner, explained our reason for not appearing. Asked owner for refund, which he agreed to, but have yet to see it reflected on my credit card.
RV park owner did tell us there is an alternate route to his camp, which we may use if ever in the area again.

This is a quiet, well kept campground. Kevin's directions were helpful to avoid undesirable roads. My GPS recommends the shortest, not necessarily best, routes.

Site 9 - Riverbend Campground
Trees could be trimmed, grass cut. Rocks around the campsite, you twist your ankle.
Need to inforce that the dogs must be on a leash and clean up after them. The camper next to us did not have their yorkies on a leash or clean up after them. If you have children, there is nothing for them to do. For us, we are an older couple, so, didn’t need activities.

Steven has a beautiful place. It's peaceful and calm, no drunks or partying! There's a single flush toilet with shower stall. Several RV sites, a few tent sites, and river access. The river access is a little steep, but there's a great fishing/swimming/floating area a short drive away (less than 2 min). The place is very dog and kid friendly. Steven is a great guy and easy to approach. Wi-Fi is on site and a store is being built! I can't wait to come back! This campground is close to a lot of attractions and activities.

Site 10 - Riverbend Campground
Overall, we had a good experience here. We stayed in site 10 and it was adequate for our two vehicles and trailers. I don’t know if it’s normal for this time of year, but we were thrilled by the total lack of mosquitos! Even with the damp terrain and daily rain showers, there were no mosquitos to be found. The only things I would note is that the road into the campground is steep and gravel. I had to put our cars in 4WD to make it into the site. The bathroom was a single stall/shower, so be aware that’s you may have to wait awhile to use it. We were there for 3 days, 2 nights and there was never any toilet paper in the bathroom. The floor was also never cleaned, so I don’t know that the camp host goes in there much.
