We have two private sites, a primitive campsite directly on the Lake of the Ozarks, and a RV spot with full hook-ups (water, 50 amp AC, and sewer). The two sites are separated from each other, but both have access to the lake, including kayaks, a canoe, a paddleboat, excellent fishing, a boat-ramp, floating dock and a one-mile perimeter nature/hiking trail. *** NOTE *** From January until early May, the lake level is dropped about five (5) feet, so boating and fishing access range from difficult to impossible (though, arrowhead hunting is a fun activity you might enjoy during the low water months!). Primative Campsite - A private 1.5 acre campsite with a firepit (and plenty of wood to burn in it) and direct access to the Lake of the Ozarks. Amenities and features of the campsite include: a private camp toilet with a door and a concrete pad, picnic table on a gravel pad with an umbrella, a fully equipped cornhole game, fishing pole holders, a garbage can and three (3) level wood tent platforms. RV site - the RV site also has a picnic table with umbrella, a garbage can and a fully equipped cornhole game. Nearby, the RV site also has access to a very nice private pit toilet, a gazebo with lights and an electrical outlet, and a firepit stocked with firewood.

*** Driving directions and trail map are included in the photos. We have hilly terrain with lots of trees and creeks. If you decide to fish, you can expect to encounter various catfish and crappie (the lake is usually too low to fish JAN-APR). The campsite is in a creek bottom that faces the Lake of the Ozarks, which is a lovely backdrop for enjoying an evening by the fire! A brand new chemical toilet with shelter, a picnic table (with umbrella), charcoal BBQ grill and garbage can are provided. There is almost always plenty of firewood available for use in the improved fire pit, including a swing-away hanger for pots or whatever you want to put over the fire. There are three elevated level tent platforms (10' and 12' square). There is also a fully equipped cornhole game provided! When you reserve Sawmill Hollow Creek, you have it all to yourself, whether you are camping alone or with friends and family! The city of Warsaw is 10 minutes away.

Creekside RV site will full hook-ups (potable water, sewer, 50 amp electrical), adjacent to the Lake of the Ozarks. Access to trail, kayaks, boat dock, etc. This is the only RV hook-up on the 54-acre property, so if you're looking for a lower key experience than typical RV parks, this site is for you! The site comes with a picnic table with umbrella, and there is a fully equipped cornhole game for your exclusive use! There is also a modern pit toilet, gazebo (with light and electrical outlet) and firepit right by the lake available for your use during your visit. Quiet and peaceful!

If you’re looking to catch done easy catfish, look no further! We unfortunately weren’t able to land ourselves any bass like we had hoped but that was no fault of the hosts! Mike is extremely friendly and easy to talk to, and he checked up on us about twice everyday, usually once in the morning and once at night to see if we needed anything or had any issues! The campsite has 3 different platform sizes to accommodate whatever type you have, plenty of seating, and a nice and deep fire pit that has both a grill attachment as well as a hanging arm for something above the fire. Rod holders are alongside the rock wall at the edge of the camp near the water edge, and as said before when the water level is up this is definitely a pristine fishing spot, lots of cover for the fish to hold to, even right in front of your camp! The kayaks were a nice touch in case you don’t have a boat, you can still enjoy the water and they hold more than enough fishing equipment if you want to get out deeper. Overall definitely would recommend this site to anyone looking to vacation in the Warsaw area, can’t find much better than the amenities Mike has provided for you at the price.

Such a wonderful trip! If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. The hosts truly went above and beyond, and it’s clear how much care they’ve put into creating these camping and RV spots. Everything is clean, well‑maintained, and thoughtfully set up. It checks all the boxes for a great getaway -fishing, corn hole, dog‑friendly spaces, gorgeous night skies, and more. We’re already planning our next visit!

Can’t recommend this camp site enough. Between the campsite itself, the trail and all of the other amenities, this campsite is perfect. And not only is the campsite awesome and secluded, Michael is an excellent host and made sure we had or needed anything. Can’t wait to keep coming back here and making awesome memories.

First and foremost, the owners of this are truly incredible people. They’re very kind and thoughtful and they go to great lengths to make sure that yourstay is as comfortable as possible. They bring you an incredible amount of wood, the fishing pole holders everywhere there are wonderful lights and placement of chairs and guide lights all over the place. This place is truly a Shangri-La. Secondly, the land itself is magnificent If you’re a nature lover, and enjoy seeing bald eagles, white tail, and an incredible wide variety of birds this place cannot be beat. The body of water that this sits next to is full of fish and is so gorgeous. Also, the site itself is far enough away from city lights that you can see the spiral of the Milky Way galaxy and the star watching is absolutely wonderful. We plan on coming back to this place annually.

Everything about our trip was perfect! The host is incredible and everything about the site is so well thought out and prepared for campers to enjoy their visit. The campsite is large with 3 platforms for tents and is located right on the channel leading to the lake. Our dog loved exploring the well manicured walking paths, and using one of the multiple kayaks available. Absolutely incredible experience, we will be back!

We would like to convey our great satisfaction with this leg of our trip which, despite the extremely hot temperatures, was a highlight of our trip. Sawmill Hollow was so peaceful that, in spite of the stifling hot weather, we were able to catch up on some much needed sleep with no disturbances. The campground was beautifully manicured, well maintained. Our hosts, Michael and Arlene were 2 of the kindest hosts we have ever encountered. I suspect this is old hat for them as they seemed to be prepared for anything. Our dogs, Piper and Satchmo got the most exercise they've had in months and share our sentiments, We're all looking forward to returning in the fall or spring to do some fishing and canoeing. Additionally, we found the Hipcamp website to be one of the easiest reservation/rental sites to use throughout our trip.

We tent camped at the RV site and were not disappointed! It is not as quiet as the tent campsite, but that is no fault of the host. We utilized the kayaks and had the best time out on the water. This is such a special spot to camp and we love it here.

This site eas amazing even though my group ended our time their a day early because of rain, it was still amazing, and the hosts were amazing as well, all in all it was a great experience, and I would love to come back sometime maybe under better weather conditions.

I had a wonderful time camping here. The views are gorgeous, the property is well maintained and also beautiful. Mike and Arlene were amazing hosts, very respectful of privacy but always there if you need something. My dog loved being off leash and playing with Mike and Arlenes dog. This is our new favorite place and can't wait to return.

This campsite was perfect! There are two different camp pads to choose from based on the size of your tent. The spot is so peaceful and the view of the sunset is stunning. We enjoyed our time here and the hosts were wonderful.

We absolutely love this place! It is our second time back and we loved all the thoughtful details- such as the platforms, designated picnic table, and even corn hole! We appreciated Micheal coming to check on us give us dry kindling so we could start a fire since it had rained the previous day! We can’t wait to come back.

Accessing the site with our 26’ travel trailer was a breeze. Full hook-ups were available, making the stay very convenient. The property is absolutely beautiful—like a park set right by the water. The lake was perfect for kayaking, and we appreciated the provided kayaks and life jackets. There’s also a fantastic 1-mile walking trail, mowed and winding through the woods—great for a peaceful stroll. The sunsets here are simply breathtaking. The hosts were wonderful—friendly and accommodating!

Michael has really made a beautiful place to visit! So much to explore, see and do with the feeling of privacy that we love when camping. It was too windy to get out on the water/kayaks when we were there but had been so looking forward to that so hope to visit again for that opportunity! The dogs were thrilled that they could spend the weekend off leash, as well.

We had a great trip. We stayed at Sawmill Hollow for a few (wet) nights at the end of May, fished and kayaked most of the time, and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. You get a large grassy area with mature trees, right on the water, all to yourself. The seclusion and privacy, and being able to let our dog roam and relax, stress-free--all of it was great. Having kayaks/canoes we could keep right at our campsite was wonderful too. Mike and Arlene were attentive and thoughtful hosts. We even forgot pillows, and they saved us from using balled-up laundry to rest our heads at night. We recommend staying here.

What a great site. Really well put together, the best private space for lakeside primitive camping you could ask for. The kayaks are a nice feature as well, as are the camp platforms. Pro-tip, I think if you bring some bungees or carabiners you could clip on the to the supplied tie-down rings nicely.
