The Happy Camper is a place where you can spend a relaxing day, view a magnificent sunset, gaze at dazzling night skies & enjoy the peace & tranquility that the Ozarks offer. Located just outside the small town of Humansville Mo where you'll have the opportunity fuel up, gather supplies or seek some other creature comforts. For those seeking a 420 getaway Flora Farms is located just a short drive away. A spirited drive in any direction will have you passing thru Amish communities, past area lakes, waterways & streams. From off grid life to full out glamping we got you covered. We offer 3 RV spots & 2 primitive sites. Our RV sites offer a table, fire ring, water, electric, trash, and a dump site near the exit. Primitive sights offer a clean versatile area with table, & fire ring. Drinking water, trash, & porta potty are located at the main campground area. There is also a small pond that allows catch & release fishing & a table to just sit at while you enjoy the view. Firewood is available on site. . We look forward to meeting you. Nice spot and friendly hosts. My tent site had a great view of the night sky. Got to watch some of the Leonids meteor shower and had good views.

This property is absolutely beautiful. I could walk all around our campsite in bare feet because the grass was so nice. Rick is wonderful and our stay was perfect. Thanks for working with us and our early arrival as well.

Rich was very helpful and the vista was quite beautiful, lush, rolling hills and grasslands. Quiet but the other campers were friendly (curious). Sorry I could only stay overnight! Close to a highway, but no noise from it.

I loved primitive tent camping on Rick's land. The site was spacious and there was plenty space to roam and a small pond to sit by. The views were magnificent. This is the perfect site for sunrises and sunsets, Moon rises and stargazing. It was very peaceful and restful. Rick is a great host. He took me around the property and showed me my boundaries. And where I could take my nature walks. Then later in the evening brought me a fresh dozen farm eggs. Highly recommend if you're looking to get away from the crowd and don't mind roughing it, as there are no facilities. Just a porta potty.

Every thing was perfect. No noise, we were just hanging out and being us. I loved how they loved our dogs. The campsite owners were great. We had a fantastic time. Definitely would recommend.😁

We had an awesome time. Stayed 4 days, went fishing in the pond. The hosts were very kind. By the way, I appreciate the birthday gift. We will definitely be coming back

Absolutely luved my stay at The Happy Camper Hipcamp . Richard & Dawn are awesome hosts & the Eggs are much appreciated. The sunsets are fantastic, each night a different scene 🌄💞🌅 Thanks for a great 3 days 👍

Didn’t get to stay long as we were passing through and got in late and had to leave early, so we didn’t really get to take in much of the amenities. Looked really nice with a great view. Firewood was in the fire pit ready to burn. The other campers that we met while packing up were super nice. Everything that you need was there. Electric and water at the site, dump station and trash bins.

Perfect Peaceful Getaway

My sister and I stayed a couple of nights in a tent. We had a fantastic time. Felt very welcomed and other campers were friendly. Richard brought us a tarp to put under our tent since there had been lots of recent rainfall. He brought us dry firewood and even some farm fresh eggs! Place is very peaceful with fantastic sunsets. Moon watchers and Star gazers this place is for you! Hope to return again!

My sister and I went to Happy Campers campground for a little get away to just relax. It was a good time and very relaxing and the views were beautiful. Richard and his wife were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We also met a couple of campers who had been there awhile, they were also friendly and Franklin even came over and helped get our fire started and entertained us with his great sense of humor! He also made us breakfast the morning we left, which was so thoughtful since we were tent camping and had a 6 hour drive home. Wish I would have got his full name to add to FB. His dog Anna was also very well behaved. We had a nice stay and would stay again! We as women traveling alone felt safe! Thank you Richard and Dawn. Your property is beautiful!

Exactly as described. Pull through sites. Water and electric. Dump close by. Trash cans near. Clean and cute. Super friendly host made sure we had everything we need for the night.
