Beautiful eleven point river offers blue, red, and white ribbon, spring fed trout/walleye water. If you're looking to float the river, be sure to research the many springs on the way down your trip and the historic mill communities that once flourished there. These are perfect opportunities to take a break, eat a meal, and explore the area. Most also will have public bathrooms. Unless there are multiple reservations, you will be allowed to hookup/stay at whichever site is the easiest for you to get parked at. The campsite clearing was great, and the large fire pit was a really nice bonus. Having the whole place to myself was the best part, Total privacy. The hiking trail is short but has good elevation gains. Highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful, private getaway.

We had a great time camping on Teresa's land. It has all the hookups you need and more! Very peaceful remote area, but still close enough to Van Buren that fetching any forgotten supplies is a breeze. She was also very kind, suggesting locations, offering advise, and even getting us some extra fire wood. One thing of note is to not listen to your GPS when arriving and actually read Teresa's email with detailed directions. Lol Otherwise you end up down her neighbor's driveway and look like an idiot. 😂

The high and dry site was easy to find, felt private, had enough room to spread out and was surrounded by woods. It was conveniently located close to town and to parks and hiking in the area. We didn't see anyone (except two friendly dogs that stopped by one day). There is a nice fire pit at the site and a clean porta potty a quick walk across the bridge. There was a some road noise, but overall a nice little spot and good base camp with so much to explore in this beautiful area.

Teresa was a great host! She sent me very clear directions to her land before we arrived. When we got there, she welcomed us and told us the best restaurants in the area and sites to see and answered any questions we had. She offered free firewood. Her land was right off the main highway, but had minimal traffic noise. It was just a few miles away from big Spring, a must see!

Group trip
Me and my girlfriends had an amazing trip at Arcadia Vally! We were worried about the campsites being too close but we were not interrupted by any of the other noise. To anyone staying, I highly recommend this campsite over the others in the area! Lots of room for a big tent and even trees very suitable for a hammock. One thing I would like to mention, the road is gravel on the way to the campsite. Be aware if your vehicle is not suitable on rougher terrain.

We canoed the Current and loved how quiet and clear the water was. Very peaceful in October. We are definitely coming back to explore more camping! Public campsites are closed during the government shutdown

Very beautiful and clean, but Saturdays are crowded until later in the afternoon. There was a fraction of the people on Sunday and it was much more peaceful. ONSR is a great place!

Floater's Paradise!
One can float right past the property, putting in at the bridge and taking out by the rope swing. Mary even supplied tubes!
We also floated from Boiling Springs Public Access to Mason Bridge Public Access, about 6 miles. On a Saturday, we only saw two other groups and the scenery was beautiful! Also, lots of fish to catch!

I loved the Ozark National Scenic Riverway!! I went with my dog and did a tour of the various springs. They were all so beautiful and peaceful. Now that it's springtime, wildlife was abundant. I'd highly recommend taking some days in this area.

Beautiful river, but distracted host blew it for me, driving through with his big loud truck every 20-30 minutes and forgetting to bring wood for a fire.
Zero privacy, gross porta potty, failed to do what he said would. Not an experience worth revisiting…
