We are a homestead located on 20 acres. Our property is nestled at the end of a gravel road. We have rolling fields that our two cows and our rescued buffalo graze. You can see chickens pecking around and the lazy tom cat lounging in the shade. The property includes 2 ponds. Our main pond is available for catch and release fishing. The 1 secluded campsite is located at the back of the property amongst large shade trees where you can find a picnic table, fire pit, and rustic outhouse. There is an outside water pump available but not located in the site. Also we provide garbage and recycling cans for your convenience. There are two homes on the property. Your hosts reside in the log cabin with family living in the tiny home. Host is available to assist with any questions or concerns and will be able to show you around the property. The campsite is primitive camping but within 15 minutes to the quaint town of Mountain View. Buck Hollow on the Jack Fork River is within 5 minutes down the road. Great for fishing, swimming and canoeing. Can assist with transportation of kayaks for a $20. Fee. If you are looking for some time away from the bustle of daily life, then this is your spot! Come enjoy the sounds of nature, the morning sunrise cresting over the hill and the lightening bugs flickering in the trees. And we can’t forget about the beautiful sight of Buffy our buffalo grazing the pastures. We are out in the country so wildlife is possible.Site #1 is located at the back of the 20 acre property. Beautiful property! Loved seeing the buffalo and cows grazing. Host was very kind. Great place for a quick camping trip and so close to the Jack forks river!
