My nephews (11 &13) and I really enjoyed our stay here. Ken and Joan were very kind and have such a breathtaking property. It's the perfect mix for beginners in camping or families because of the fun extras around. Liberated Grounds welcomed us which such pleasant and loving energy. We pulled up planning to camp in our car, but Burt & Angel offered us a tent and even helped us set it up! It was a beautiful space for the weekend! I loved the calm & safe feelings the whole experience brought to us. I am excited to visit again and would LOVE to attend any concerts/events they are so lucky to host!

We had a wonderful experience at this campground! Joan and her husband Ken were incredibly hospitable and made us feel very welcome from the start. The place had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and clean bathrooms. The animals on the property were also very friendly, which added a special touch to our stay. It was peaceful, comfortable, and full of good vibes. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming ranch-style campground. The facilities were excellent, and the location was conveniently situated. The soothing sound of the water made us reluctant to depart early! We would definitely return in the future. Kinser was incredibly responsive and ensured that we were all well-prepared for our stay.

Ken was awesome and went out of his way to accommodate my brother-in-law, our combined 3 kids, and me. The pictures are beautiful and it doesn't even come close to reality. The property is amazing. Also, we were joined for breakfast by their beautiful peacocks, and the kids loved feeding them. Fishing was incredible as well - every one got a bite. Incredible property with incredible owners. We will be back.

Weekend Trip to Walnut Creek Winery RV Park

Driving through Midwest and needed a place to stay with electric & water… came across Walnut Creek Winery on Hipcamp. Quiet spot away from the highway but not too far off with a peaceful site next to a creek. We were coming in a bit late but got in before the kitchen closed so we were able to get a delicious supreme pizza with wine flights while enjoying a great cover band. Raymond and his staff at the winery were great! We slept well and were invited to Sunday brunch but had to hit the road. Definitely recommend a stop here.

The open land was clean and well taken care of. We loved the free roaming goats and donkeys. The animals were very friendly! Our campsite had a tree swing which was a nice touch! Was greeted promptly and very respectfully. It felt like “home.” It’s a great place for some peace and quiet away from the noisy world we live in! PS- the CLEANEST outhouse I’ve ever used!

Spacious, accommodating host offered power of if I needed it. Beautiful garden and flowers add to the atmosphere. Be aware you need to be capable of back-to-back 90-degree turns on neighborhood streets leading into this location. Would stay again, and recommend.

Weekend Trip to Seven Oaks

The property was so beautiful with lots of trails/paths to explore! And the treehouse was the perfect place to chill, looking out over the land by day or watching hundreds of fireflies by night. We felt nestled among the trees but with plenty of space for both our vans. Also loved all the different wildflowers and monarch butterflies! Will definitely be back!

Our place consists of three RV sites with water and electric hookups, two camping sites and one on-site travel trailer for rent. Wifi is available at all sites, except for Site 3. Green Acres at Red Brick Farm is located just 50 miles east of Kansas City off of I-70 at Exit 49. Once you are off of I-70 your drive is less than 8 minutes away on all blacktop roads. Site 2 is on gravel with 30 amp hookup and water, preferably best for RV’s and trailers 25’ and under. Site 1 and Site 3 are on gravel with a 20/30/50 amp hookup and water, best suited for larger RV’s and trailers. You may choose your site location, but due to the small number of sites we have we may have to alter your choice. This is so we can accommodate our guests in the best way possible, depending on the size of each rig. If you are towing a vehicle or pulling a trailer your total length should be 55’ or under. We will not accept Triple Axels. Site 4 and site 5 are for tents, pop ups, very tiny trailers and are in flexible locations. A 20 amp standard outlet can be provided for site 4 and site 5. For your use is a shower, toilet, and bathroom sink in our farmhouse basement. Please arrive before dusk, so you don’t disturb other campers. Site 6 Is the on-site travel trailer, ‘Ain’t She Cute’. No Pets are allowed when reserving ‘Ain’t She Cute’. The vintage style travel trailer is completely renovated and decorated with collectibles and antiques and is available for booking. It is furnished with a queen size bed, tiny kitchen, TV, wifi, and full size, not trailer size, bathroom. The trailer is for 2 guests, but an additional guest may sleep on the daybed, preferably a child or small adult. We live onsite in our 1920’s Prairie Style home which is also Red Brick Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast with three Guest Rooms available for booking. Look us up online. At your disposal, is the use of our outdoor furniture, a large yard to walk around in, a fire pit, a BBQ grill, and even a tire swing. Our restaurant, Red Shanty Cafe and BBQ, is located in the town of Higginsville, about 5 miles from Red Brick Farmhouse. Red Shanty Cafe is open Weds and Thurs, 11am - 8 pm and Fri and Sat, 11am - 9pm.
