Electric tent site 7 is in a nice shady spot, close to the shower houses. Our campground has a community area close that has washers and ladder ball as well as a double swing. We have a camp store equipped with wood, ice, snacks, camp items, personal hygiene items, etc. Down from the store is a gem mine and a playground. There is also a pavilion and a walking trail that goes around the back side of our property.

RV site #4 is a 30 amp spot in our small circle of RV spots. Playground is in the middle area of the circle. The site is near the camp store and shower houses. There's a walking trail on the property and gem mining as well.

Squirrel Nest

Squirrel Nest is our primitive cabin. It sleeps up to 4 people with a queen bed and a clickity clack couch that folds down into a full size bed. The cabin also has an apartment size fridge, microwave, TV, DVD player, heating and air and all linens provided. Outside there is a table and chairs on the porch overlooking the woods, a picnic table, fire pit and charcoal grill. The bathroom and showers are just across the driveway from this cabin.

The kitchenette has an island with 6 barstools, convection oven, sink, skillet, microwave, apartment size fridge, dishes, pans, utensils. Heating and air and linens provided. Outside there's a picnic table, table and chairs, charcoal grill and firepit.

Tackle Box

All the comforts of a hotel with all the beauty of camping! No need to pack a sleeping bag, the beds have pillows and blankets already. Fridge, freezer, microwave, and cheap ice made meals very easy. The porch has two chairs and a small table. There is a cigarette container for those who need it. The picnic table was in great shape and the firepit kept our coals warm enough that I only had to light our fire the first night and it stayed hot enough to cook our meals for the next day. The bathroom had hot running water, a shower, and a flush toilet. That was super handy for our kids in the middle of the night. AC and heat kept us comfortable at night, while the TV and DVD player were a nice break when rain came through. We enjoyed the playground and the walking trail. Definetly consider this cabin for your next glamping trip! (Cabin 1 & 2 are two halves of the same building. Cabin 2 was empty during our trip. It would have been a bit too cozy if we had neighbors that close. For more privacy, choose Cabin 3, 4, the Squirrel Nest, or the Tackle Box.)

Awesome place- quaint and we just happened to be lucky enough and had the whole place to ourselves. Rv sites all had full hookups. Bathrooms and showers just fantastic. We will return again and highly recommend.

If you are looking for a beautiful campground with choices of cabins and primitive camping I highly recommend CRC! Not only was every person nice and hospitable, but they also recommended other sights to visit that was close by. My friends and I will definitely be back.

We are so glad we stayed here. It is quiet and relaxed. The bathroom/shower house is clean. And the store has everything you forgot to bring. We will stay here again!

Squirrel Nest
Or stay at the squirrel's nest was perfect for what we needed and wanted to do. Booking and communications went smooth and well with great response. One of our favorite parts was the mercantile type store that had everything we needed and even watermelon at that time!! Renting the kayaks for a float trip down a stretch of the 11 point is highly recommended and our Traci and Brandon were resourceful and extremely helpful in finding the right float for our group. Four adult squirrels lived it up in the nest that was well maintained and couldn't ask for anything more, thank you so much to the camp host Traci and Brandon and everyone else who makes Camp River possible, your efforts do not go unappreciated😊 thank you
