A little bit about how we started. Like most of us, we were in desperate need of a place to get away from the bustle and grind of daily life, to slow down, decompress, and destress. This land the universe had waiting for us, gave us just that! It changed our lives and now we are excited to open up this sanctuary to others who share our passion for the great outdoors! Interestingly, each year we find out more about our home, from its Native American prehistory, to its 19th century Civil War conflict, and most recently, a lost article published in the 1940s in the local Oklahoman gazette that enticingly gossips about long lost Buried Treasure!

If you’re planning to stay overnight, choose from the two camping spots near the river, especially popular with anglers. Head up to the small visitor center for great views of the river, and watch the commercial tug boat operations. Oologah! It’s a cool word, and also an awesome park! Oolagah Lake is especially popular with boaters. There are 14 boat launches here, and a full-service marina. The lake is great for sailboats—you can catch some wind on the wide stretches of water. Anglers, cast a line for the sand bass, catfish, hybrid striped bass, crappie, and walleye. There are two sandy swimming beaches here, so take a dip in the refreshing waters, or just stretch out on a towel and enjoy the scenery. Don’t forget your sunscreen! There are lots of hiking trails to choose from. Check out Will Rogers Country Centennial Trail. It’s an 18-mile trail that winds along the shoreline, through woodland and open meadow. Booked this about a month out for my trip thru Texas. The RV park is pretty new according to Anthony the owner who greeted me after my arrival. It's very well laid out with 10 newly built tiny homes and many pull thru fully equipped RV spaces. The park also contains full bathrooms, laundry facilities, dog park, pickle ball court, code enabled entry gate and a disc golf course. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay especially if you like full rv hookups resort like atmosphere spotless clean amenities. The price to stay was a bargain considering all the amenities provided.

We camped here 2 nights while traveling through Oklahoma. We enjoyed the quiet campsite surrounded by woods. It is a small campground but every site is full hook up & it had everything we needed, Including picnic table and fire pit . They want you to use firewood from their land , a nice plus not having to buy bundles like at other campgrounds . We would definitely stay here again if traveling nearby

We had a great time at site 2. Easy access to the composting toilet (which is awesome!) for my toddlers and it was nice and open for them to run around. The picnic table, hammocks, and grate for cooking over the fire were awesome additions as well!!
