My location is about 8 miles due west of the little town of Caney, Oklahoma. I’m very rural, no close neighbors, 19 acres of pasture and woods. Plenty of places to park, one area is back in the woods a bit with water and 50 amp service, others strictly boondocking. There’s not much “close” to me but I’m kind of centrally located between Atoka, Texoma and McGee lakes. Boggy depot state park and Fort Washita is close by and south of me is the Choctaw Casino. It’s very quiet and no nighttime lights so there’s an awesome night sky.
Please check out the map I've included in my photos for precise directions. The last 2.5 miles to get to my house is by gravel road and my entrance may be a bit difficult to spot but my name and address is on the big black mailbox. Just turn in and cross the cattle guard and go through the driveway into the open field. Parking is on the north side of the drive along the tree line or back in the woods. Don’t hesitate to contact me directly for directions. If you follow my guidance, you should have no problem finding me or turning into my drive.
Pets are welcome but I suggest they remain on a leash if you’re around my house or other campers and please clean up after them. The open field around my house is not always mowed because my neighbor cuts the hay and I like the spring wildflowers. I try to keep a walking path around my place but I travel too so at times it may not be well maintained. Since I do travel a lot, I may not be home when you arrive. Please make yourself at home and leave the place as you found it. Thank you!

My location is about 8 miles due west of the little town of Caney, Oklahoma. I’m very rural, no close neighbors, 19 acres of pasture and woods. Plenty of places to park, one area is back in the woods a bit with water and 50 amp service, others strictly boondocking. There’s not much “close” to me but I’m kind of centrally located between Atoka, Texoma and McGee lakes. Boggy depot state park and Fort Washita is close by and south of me is the Choctaw Casino. It’s very quiet and no nighttime lights so there’s an awesome night sky.
Please check out the map I've included in my photos for precise directions. The last 2.5 miles to get to my house is by gravel road and my entrance may be a bit difficult to spot but my name and address is on the big black mailbox. Just turn in and cross the cattle guard and go through the driveway into the open field. Parking is on the north side of the drive along the tree line or back in the woods. Don’t hesitate to contact me directly for directions. If you follow my guidance, you should have no problem finding me or turning into my drive.
Pets are welcome but I suggest they remain on a leash if you’re around my house or other campers and please clean up after them. The open field around my house is not always mowed because my neighbor cuts the hay and I like the spring wildflowers. I try to keep a walking path around my place but I travel too so at times it may not be well maintained. Since I do travel a lot, I may not be home when you arrive. Please make yourself at home and leave the place as you found it. Thank you!

Stayed at Dave’s Hideout for five days and loved it. Beautiful spot. Tons of stars at night, peaceful, and you can hear and see plenty of wildlife. The grass smelled amazing after the rain. You’re far enough out to feel secluded but can still see other campers in the distance.
Dave is also an amazing and kind host.

Our dogs had an absolute blast and we enjoyed ourselves as well.

Good communication from the host! Peaceful, relaxing location. No wifi in the rental RV, but pretty good cell coverage. I had some work to catch up on, but could use my phone as a hotspot and was still able to spend some time contemplating the jetski in the middle of the catch-and-release pond!

I highly recommend both the lovely, secluded campground area plus the host. Glenn came by to meet me at check in and made me feel so welcome plus offered any help if I needed anything. This was my first Hipcamp experience and it really delivered. Definitely ecommend staying if you’re nearby and want to skip the hotel for quiet and relaxation

It was nice to have the place all to myself. I would definitely recommend staying there. Glenn is a nice guy. Unfortunately, the skies were not clear. So I didn't get to see any stars. Just be where there are fire ant dens everywhere.

Amazing as always! We both had a great time! We missed Donkey the first day but he came by the following night and it was so lovely to see him and the horses.
The sky was amazing as always. Couldn't have asked for a better spot or a better trip! They did a lot of trimming since the last time we went and I never knew how big the property actually was!

I had a great time with my 3 young boys. Glenn was very accommodating and checked in on us without being at all intrusive. The site was easy to find and secluded. The kiddos were able to reel in a few small bluegill (even beginning of March) which was fun for them. Highly recommended!

Super great! A calm , soothing and refreshing experience in the « outbacks » of Oklahoma. The owner of the place provided us with fast replies to our questions and requests and on top of that , unlike other campgrounds owners he gave us clear and precise instructions on how to get there. The site was extremely clean and had picnic tables plus fire pits along with a bunch of firewood next to his shed in the back of the property a couple feet next to the pond.

Excellent place will definitely be back if I’m ever in Oklahoma again! Great host. Only thing is it would be a lil easier if there was signs to go straight to camp I was a little lost but I got it afterwards.

We absolutely love camping here. Campgrounds are clean and well maintained with updated restroom and shower facilities. Campground hosts are always helpful and courteous. Drive-up as well as walk-in tent sites available on Arbuckle lake. RV sites available as well. Beautiful view of the lake and the fishing is great. :-)

Rock creek was kind of 'meh' for me. We stayed during a warm weekend in Febuary and all the water was still turned off at the sites (understandably). Also, neighbors are fairly close in these sites and the extended loop sites that are further out were closed off at the time we went. Also, be aware that the falls area is a popular day-use area so you're unlikely to experience it 'quietly'.

This campground was so beautiful. We stayed in Loop D (the walk-in sites) at site 108, so we got a great view of the lake right behind our tent. You can walk 20 feet from the site and get your toes wet! The campground had clean restrooms just a short walking distance from our site. I would definitely stay here again, it was so beautiful (especially for Oklahoma!).
