We were traveling back to Georgia from a trip out West with friends in our VW Vanagons and landed at Mark & Angela's. It was perfect. Safe place to stay overnight. Bathroom facilities were nice. They were gracious hosts and gave us a tour. We'd stay here again for sure!

Such nice people! If you travel alone like I do and are looking for a safe place to affordably stay the night, this is the place to do it! I like to do city tours, but can't afford hotels, so I usually find a place to camp outside the city and do city tours during the day. I stayed a couple of nights at the Baumgartens Pine Tree Corner while I visited Oklahoma City during the day. They have a clean, fully functioning bathroom with a shower for camper use. Everyone in the area is friendly and I could set up near the garage where there are cameras if I choose, so I always felt like my tent and things were safe while I was gone during the day. Mark and Angela gave me lots of space and privacy, but we're very responsive to all my texts and questions. Highly recommend!

The location is in a nice area and we felt safe enough to leave the camper there and go have dinner. Mark was hands on to help us park and show us where the restroom was. We didn't opt for the tour because we were tuckered but he has an amazing collection of VW😊 His wife Angela was welcoming as well.

This site was wonderfully private. There is electric hookup, but be sure to bring your adapters. Also water is available. There is a beautiful lake on the site. My dog absolutely lived it. We shared the site with a horse who kept his distance. This campsite was just wonderful!

What a fun place! Angela and Mark are incredible. I camper vanned in their south field, where I found total peace and quiet; had great cell coverage too. And Volkswagens are everywhere; Mark's shop is something to see - it makes it obvious that he's an air-cooled genius. A+!

Mark & Angela are so down to earth & kind. We came in late from a long day driving and they helped us find a spot to set up and showed us around (how to get to bathroom etc). In the morning we took a tour of their collection. Really great to meet them & have a spot to set up our tent for the night! Would love to stay again if we ever go through the area.

If you're an auto enthusiast of ANY kind this is worth the stop. Great area to set up a camper or tent. Bathroom is very clean and close to camping area. Had a warm welcome, and enjoyed my conversation with the hosts. They even gave me a little sticker pack. I definitely recommend the stay!

Experience the Oklahoma Donkey Dairy in person, meet the gentle giants (American Mammoth Donkeys), hike the trails through the woods, relax in the grain bin gazebos with a good book, or just hang out in a hammock while the littles take turns on the zipline through the woods, teeter-totter and trikes, play in the playhouse, slide down the old school slipper slide, or play a few rounds of corn hole, giant checkers, and donkey tic-tac-toe. Everyone asks why on earth we started milking donkeys, the answer is that we never planned on milking donkeys, but sometimes God throws a wrench in our best laid plans! For our family, that wrench came on June 6, 2014. The day our 6-year-old woke up with strep throat which caused her immune system to mistakenly attack her brain. We were one of the few who got a correct diagnosis early, PANDAS disease (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disease Associated with Strep Throat). The top doctors in the nation said their "best guess was antibiotics every day for the next 13 years." This guess wasn't good enough. We cried a lot, prayed a lot, and cried some more. God ended up answering our prayer in an unlikely way, through an unlikely source...Donkey milk. In other countries, donkey milk is well known for its health benefits but in America, it was practically unheard of, made even more difficult to find since donkeys give very little milk! So we did what any desperate parent would do for their child, and started our own herd of American Mammoth Donkeys. These critically endangered donkeys are the descendants of President George Washington's first imported French Donkeys, royal gifts from the King of France. It was Washington's dream to create a breed of mule that would be strong enough to work this new land, and for this, he needed a large, strong breed of donkey to sire those mules. When the mule fell out of favor with the advent of the tractor and the plow, the need for Mammoth Donkeys declined, and so did their numbers.
