Great off-grid spot for some real primitive camping. It's right where the creek and river meet. Took my son for his first camping trip there for father's day weekend. The owner is really nice. When we arrived to the property, we were confused where to go, and we called him for directions. He stayed on the phone with us the entire time until we found our camping site. Plenty of wood and fish out there. Also deer, rabbits, etc. Also several acres to explore. Highly recommend.

7/19/19 Husband and I took our kayaks to Watonga Lake in Roman Nose State Park. Very peaceful. Nice get-a-way. Found out after we got off of the water that the dam had been previously compromised and they were in the process of draining the lake.
