Welcome to our Award Winning campsite, Sky Valley Acres! Where history meets the horizon. Come join us out in our little slice of country paradise, 30 acres of natural prairie and woodlands nestled on the highest peak in the county overlooking the historic Twin Mounds Valley. Not too far from home, but just far enough to feel like an adventure, we are conveniently located 20 minutes outside the quaint college town of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Our sites offer both large open areas for vehicles and activities paired with private wooded forest for tents and seclusion. Individual sites are many acres apart designed in such a way that every experience is peaceful and private. We offer maintained camping sites which are easily accessible that come with amenities, in addition to our alternative primitive camping experience for the pros further in the Backwoods. What ever your needs or preference we have a spot for you! We have easy access to two main highways with the nearest Walmart 10 minutes away, not to mention great cell phone coverage for all the main providers at most locations on the property.
A little bit about how we started. Like most of us, we were in desperate need of a place to get away from the bustle and grind of daily life, to slow down, decompress, and destress. This land the universe had waiting for us, gave us just that! It changed our lives and now we are excited to open up this sanctuary to others who share our passion for the great outdoors! Interestingly, each year we find out more about our home, from its Native American prehistory, to its 19th century Civil War conflict, and most recently, a lost article published in the 1940s in the local Oklahoman gazette that enticingly gossips about long lost Buried Treasure!

We are a 400 plus acre working family ranch raising Registered Texas Longhorns. We offer homegrown steaks and hamburger for purchase during your stay. In season we offer homegrown fresh vegetables you can purchase to go with your steaks- your welcome to even pick your own. If fresh vegetables are not in season we do have a selection of salsas, jellies, and pickles made on the ranch. There are three ponds for fishing, lots of wildlife including nesting baldeagles. Bring sturdy enclosed shoes for hiking. Bring your canine friend, they will have a vacation of a lifetime. Pawhuska is only 13 miles away, if you want to let someone else cook your dinner. Use the outdoor faucets on the house for water. The fire pit surrounded by rocks is located near the picnic benches under the trees by the pond next to the log cabin house.
RV Spots have 110, 30amp, 50amp hookups along with water, sewer, and wifi. Trash is the dumpster at the driveway entrance.
Dry/tent spots are at least 20’ wide by 40’ deep and can be used for campers or tent camping. These are located on the grassy areas. There are NO hookups for dry/tent dispersed sites.
We now have a wash house! It is located immediately when entering the part to the right of the entrance driveway. There is a shower, sink and toilet in the bathroom and a coin-op clothes washer and dryer. Cost is $2 in quarters per load.

We are less than a quarter mile from Highway 51 access and only 7 miles from the Oklahoma State University campus. PARK RULES
**Heated Hose Required November 1st - April 30th** Long-term guest must insulate hydrant to stay connected to water.
We background check all long-term guests, no exceptions.
-CHECK IN/OUT: Check in/out is at 1pm. If for any reason this will not work for you please contact us! Failure to pay the bill or vacate the premises at the end of a paid term will result in towing of the vehicle at the guest's expense. No parking on the grass please, we have extra parking by the dumpster.
-TRASH: No Trash is to be left outside of the camper. All trash must be placed in the dumpster.
-NO window air conditioners are permitted on RV
-NO Washing of Cars or RVs
-UNSIGHTLY VEHICLES/RV'S: Without prior approval of management, any vehicle which detracts from the intent, purpose, or general appearance of the campground is not allowed. This includes any RV unit that is not neat and well kept. Ran down units are not tolerated and will be asked to leave immediately.
-NOISE REGULATIONS: This park strictly enforces quiet hours between 10pm & 8am. This includes all unnecessary noise, please respect your neighbors. All children must be indoors by dark unless accompanied by an adult. Campers will be held responsible for their children and actions.
-SEPTIC/SEWER: This park is on a septic tank. The septic system will only handle human waste and water. DO NOT USE BLEACH!! Hygiene products should never be flushed.
-ABSOLUTELY NO MAJOR MECHANICAL WORK AT THE PARK! We understand general vehicle maintenance will happen from time to time and that is perfectly fine. We strive to keep our park as clean and sightly as possible for everyone.
-CHILDREN: We absolutely allow and want children at our park. If you have children please never leave them unattended, we are not responsible for any accidents. If children make a mess it is your job to clean the mess up, no excuses. ALL CHILDREN must be accompanied by an adult at dark.
-PETS: Non aggressive pets are welcome at the park with proof of rabies shots. Pet owners are expected to dispose of any pet litter in a prompt manner. Pets fall under noise regulations and will not be allowed to be outside making noise while others try to sleep. Pets will also be treated humanely at our park. No animals should be tied up at any location in the park at any time! We are located in the country so there is plenty of room to take your pet for a proper walk. If an accident occurs with a pet the owner will claim full responsibility and the park will be held unaccountable.
-VISITORS: Visitors are welcome at our park any time. Please remember that guests need to park in an area that does not restrict other guests ability to navigate the park. You are responsible for your guests and their actions!
-PROBLEMATIC TENANTS: All problematic tenants will be asked to leave immediately or the Payne County Sheriffs Office will be called immediately to assist them. Respect your neighbors, they paid to be here just like you!
-GENERAL: We do allow propane fire pits, Grilling outside is perfectly fine as long as it is done with an actual grill and fire restrictions/ bans are followed. No junk around the camp, trash, etc. We have a dumpster in place and expect everyone in the park to place their trash in it. Long term guests are welcome as long as they keep a neat/clean camp. The park does not and will not insure any tenant for damages or losses while at the park. All laws will be followed at the park including gun laws, no exceptions! Park insurance prohibits the use of any electric heater, ALL HEATING MUST BE DONE -WITH PROPANE OR THE DESIGNED HEATING SOURCE! Space heaters are not covered by Park Insurance or RV Insurance policies. Your safety and happiness is important to us! We promote a family friendly environment with large park areas for families to enjoy, all we ask is that you clean up after!

We are dedicated to cultivating a peaceful environment where joy and beauty can be found in everyday life. Our simple, tranquil retreat offers tent camping and space for intimate weddings and celebrations.
We raise novelty poultry for eggs and pets, Mini Nubian dairy goats, and honey bees. As of early 2025 our animals have not been moved to this property yet, while we focus on building the infrastructure and life of our dreams.

This is such a great spot!
I chose the primitive campsite, I was able to hike or drive in. There were trees that worked for my hammock tent, a clearing and pit for a fire and a cute trail to walk. The property is very peaceful and well kept.
Atlas, the grounds dog, was such a sweet boy and walked me to my campsite and hung out until I got set up.
Owner is very kind and answered any questions I had. I had plenty of privacy and felt safe on the grounds.
As we are entering the summer season, understandably there were a lot of ticks, so be sure to load up on bug/tent spray.
Property is located about 20 minutes from Walmart, so you can pick up any supplies if needed.
Will definitely visit again and highly recommend!

Ash's property was beautiful and she was a great host. She was very good at communicating with us and was very welcoming. The campsites were very well kept and there is plenty of space between each site. There are also some very nice trails going through the campgrounds. Overall, it was a very nice place to camp.

The primitive sites were well separated and the grounds were well kept. It's much better than even a national forest campground if you like privacy and quiet. We would definitely come back if we are ever back this way.

Whitetail Woods was absolutely perfect for our quick camping trip! Aaron, one of our hosts, welcomed us at the gate and showed us to our site. Since there was availability, we were upgraded to a more private site, which was perfect since we like to sit outside. The campground was quiet and sleeping in wasn't an issue. There was not a bathhouse, but not an issue as we have facilities in our camper. Town was not far, about 5 min. We would love to stay again when we come back to the area! Thank you for a most wonderful experience!

My husband and I loved the farm! We enjoyed petting the goats and exploring the disc golf course. We loved being able to fish the pond right next to our campsite. The hosts were very nice and we can’t wait to come back!! Was the highlight of our 2 week camping trip, highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this place. We rented the camper for my wife and 2 daughters and it was perfect. All of us had a great time and will be back another time. It felt very safe for our two kids to run around and play on the playground and fish and explore. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. If you are thinking about coming out here, do it!

I was looking for an easy spot to take my 5-year-old daughter for her first camping trip, somewhere that felt special but also easy. Instead of the usual state park route, we decided to give The Farm at Quail Valley a try. I was expecting a nice little farm with a few tent spots and some fishing ponds, but what we actually pulled into was a total hidden gem.
This property is easily some of the prettiest land I’ve seen in Kansas. The grounds are so well-kept with the rolling hills and beautiful trees, it felt more like staying in a botanical garden than on a farm.
The Disc Golf course was also a pretty big surprise. I knew there was one on-site and brought my discs along, but I wasn't expecting a course that was ranked #58 in the world in 2022. It’s the real deal, both in terms of technical difficulty and the terrain. I’m already planning a return trip just so I can find the time to play the full course.
To top it all off, the hosts were incredible, so kind and very accommodating. If you're looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway that’s still accessible for kids, this is it.

Loved camping here. Ash and his family were wonderful hosts and having the clean bathhouse and outhouse available was a real treat during the trip. I enjoyed the lovely design and The campsites and land are beautiful. Ash sent helpful instructions and was responsive during messages because I got in later than I hoped and it was a short stay. I look forward to returning sometime!

We had the BEST car camping experience here. Truly 10/10.
Ash was an incredible host, the perfect balance of helpful and laid-back. He checked in on us without ever being overbearing and made sure we were comfortable the whole time, even with the heat and nearby (UN)controlled burns. We felt completely taken care of and safe.
When we mentioned the kids were hoping for water to play in, he went above and beyond — setting up sprinklers on the property and even showing us a hidden water spot. None of us expected summer temperatures in March! He also pointed out a shortcut to the bath house from our site, which was super helpful and appreciated.
Our site was so beautiful, tucked back on the property next to a small canyon with tons of shade. The hammocks already set up were such a nice touch, and we added a few more for the kids which made it even better. There were also yard games waiting for us when we arrived that the kids loved!
My boys said it was the best day ever and gave it a 10/10 — which pretty much says it all.
Also… Blaze (the black cat) and his white cat sidekick hung out with us the whole time and were a huge hit with the kids. They basically adopted us for the trip!
We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxed, family-friendly spot with an amazing host.

This is my 2nd time staying at this facility, and both sites were wonderful! Site #6 is so spacious! It has a large grassy area, a hammock, nice table and fire pit. The sunset was nice from this site as well! I usually camp alone and I feel safe here since it's private land. The host, Ash, is always so responsive and helpful!

Best camping trip our family has ever had. We loved the seclusion camping, the family was wonderful, and the cattle were amazing. They treated us like family. I highly recommend every add on as well: they helped us fish, delivered a delicious homemade breakfast to the site, taught our boy to ranch, let us feed and fawn over the cows...I cannot say enough positive things about our weekend away.

We had the best time! The owners greeted us warmly and even brought over yard games to our campsite when they saw we had a bunch of kids in tow. We chose campsite 3 which was perfect to spread out, play catch, etc. We walked around to the other sites and thought site 5 was beautiful with the creek bed and full of trees but for our group, 3 was perfect. It was also walkable to the adorable outhouse. It’s a composting outhouse but was very clean/well kept. Our stay couldn’t have been better. We also met a friendly green eyed cat during our walk and she hung out with us the rest of our stay.
