Nice place to stay for most campers
38 ft Class A · With pets · First I want to say Jackson (host) & Dave (owner) were very helpful, kind, and respectful during our entire stay. I honestly can’t say a bad thing about either one of them and I would recommend staying here.. but with a catch! If you have a heavy or long camper (>30ft) it’s tricky getting in and getting out but not impossible. You should also consider the weather if bringing a camper since the ground gets really soft when wet. We brought a class C (4x4) and a class A motorhome. We managed to get both in but it was less than ideal due to the amount of limbs over hanging the road but we made it. It rained off and on after our arrival and the class A ended up stuck in the field while trying to get out. This is really my fault for putting that thing in a place it shouldn’t be even if it was able to get there… other than that though, it was very peaceful with some hiking trails and a nice place to stay if you have dogs. All that to say, anything bigger than 30ft 4x4 class C is pushing it. But If you have a 4x4 rig or small camper you should be just fine. It’s great place to be if you like solitude while only being 10mins from town.
