This 55 acre park is home of a large sandstone that contains 8 markings believed to have been made by Vikings many years ago. The park features a seasonal waterfall, covered picnic areas, playground, amphitheater with seating, community building, scenic views, gift shop and approximately 2 miles of nature trails. Be advised that most tent sites have a tent pad but a few are primitive mountain terrain (rocky). The one RV site is for 16 ft. or less vehicles and smaller teardrop trailers with limited hook-up and no dump station. Restroom and shower facilities are located within the park. Individual campsites DO NOT have onsite toilets. Forest setting while still close to stores in case of forgotten items. Variety of small wildlife in the area. We offer catch and release fishing in the pond along with walking trails marked by the mowed pathways. Use the outdoor faucets on the house for water. The fire pit surrounded by rocks is located near the picnic benches under the trees by the pond next to the log cabin house. RV Spots have 110, 30amp, 50amp hookups along with water, sewer, and wifi. Trash is the dumpster at the driveway entrance. Dry/tent spots are at least 20’ wide by 40’ deep and can be used for campers or tent camping. These are located on the grassy areas. There are NO hookups for dry/tent dispersed sites. We now have a wash house! It is located immediately when entering the part to the right of the entrance driveway. There is a shower, sink and toilet in the bathroom and a coin-op clothes washer and dryer. Cost is $2 in quarters per load.

We have also recently added a new canvas bell tent- Bethany which features two XL heavy duty twin cots with super comfy mattress toppers, bamboo cooling sheets, and full plush bedding. Our bathhouse includes two private rooms, each equipped with a camping toilet, pump sink, and thoughtful amenities for your comfort. Our outdoor shower will be refreshing after a long hike as well! We have two standing outdoor grills for your cooking needs. Both on the gravel parking lot level, one by the covered patio, the other by the picnic area. Bring your own charcoal, for easy lighting and convenient cooking. Please remember to leave no trace, use trash recepticles and do not leave any food out for the wildlife. Bringing a pet? They are very welcome here, however, we now require a $30 pet fee due to additional cleaning and potential damages. Please add this on to your booking. For those seeking a more rustic experience, we also offer nine primitive walk-up campsites where you can bring your own tent, or request our pre set tent (requires 48 hrs notice). Permaculture-based polyculture market garden that sells organic veggies and herbs. A few miles from Twin Bridges State Park has RV dump station. The town is walkable and there are plenty of our bikes you can use. The main parking area will have some lights from the neighbors and 2 lane highway, but also have private areas to set up a chair or hammock. Behind the hedgerow (to the North) there's a mowed areas for a tent. There's also a tree platform. A train runs through town about 10 x day and night about 5 blocks away. There's capacity for leaving your trash/recycling here (I have to pay for weekly pick-up but rarely is my bin full), there's also washer/dryer that can be used (within reason)

Fantastic place! Darrel and Kelli are amazing hosts, the Zion tent has an absolutely beautiful view of Mt Scott, and the area is just beautiful too. I stayed here for work so I didn't get a chance to eat at their restaurant (this trip at least) or enjoy the trails but everything here was great. They have a small covered patio was comfortable furniture to watch the sunset from. This was early August so it was hot, they provided an IcyFreeze which isn't as strong as AC but does help a lot! Pair it with a battery operated fan for best results. The bed itself was very comfortable, there's a steady breeze for ventilation, and the shower was nice and cold in the mornings. Much more effective than coffee. I would and will stay here again for work or bringing my wife up here for a trip too.

We loved camping here! The sites were great. You may run into other people on the trail but other than that the campsites are very private. It’s about a 5 minute hike down to the campsite, some of the paths are a little steep so pack light and don’t overload the wagons they provide for you or you’ll regret it going downhill. They have a lot of very cute animals as well. It’s a fenced in property and very safe. They have lots of trails. It took us about an hour to hike all of them and there are some really cool spots you can find. Our campsite, Duck Foot was really spacious and had a nice clearing to see the sky at night. It wasn’t too buggy either, I only found one tick the whole time. The campsite has a spot for a hammock. The hammock was missing (only the bug cover was there) but it wasn’t a problem for us since we were close to home and brought back our own hammocks. We will definitely be back again as soon as weather permits!

Stayed in the creekside A-frame cabin. Was so cozy and though the temps were scorching my dog an I stayed pretty cool at this spot in the shade and with the nice breeze each day! Looking forward to staying here again. The critters are adorable🫏🐐🐕🐓 The area is relaxing, it is private and about 20 minutes to downtown Tulsa, 40 ish to Broken Arrow. So not too far from places to visit!

We purchased the firewood and he had a fire all built and ready to light when we got there, which was awesome. The bed was very comfy. A great experience - again! Such beautiful land, and we were able to explore into the back areas as well. The composting toilet is a great amenity, as is the new flush toilet and shower! Ash made sure we knew of things close by for entertainment as well as to keep cool, such as the Cushing water park. Although we got hit with a good thunderstorm, Ash also made sure we were alright and let us know what to do in case the weather turned truly dangerous. Overall, Star Valley Acres is a great spot for tent camping, especially with young kids who like to run around :) We will definitely be back again in the fall!

Come rain or shine, Glenn goes above and beyond! Fantastic campsite and an even better host! The property was great, well-maintained, and the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the first day my car broke down and Glenn came and helped me jump my car in the pouring rain!!! and the next time I came he helped with putting a picnic table next to the place I wanted to sit by the water!! from start to finish Glenn made sure we had a great time and left with life long memories. Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance! P.S. Be careful there are snakes!!

Western Oklahoma

Characterized by diverse landscapes, western Oklahoma’s popular spots include Little Sahara State Park, which features desert-like dunes popular for off-roading, and Alabaster Caverns State Park, where visitors can explore one of the largest natural gypsum caves on earth. You can even go digging for selenite crystals in the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge or go rappelling in the Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park.

Central and South-Central Oklahoma

In the center of the state, Oklahoma City is a great place to get your bearings, with all sorts of museums. A number of lakes are set around town, including Lake Thunderbird State Park, which offers boating, swimming, and camping just a short drive out. If you're headed toward Tulsa, make a pitstop in the town of Chandler, where you can learn about regional history at the Chandler Route 66 Interpretive Center or the Lincoln County Museum of Pioneer History. If you’d rather just play outside, Turner Falls Park and the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in the Arbuckle Mountains offer scenery and camping options.

Northeastern Oklahoma

Oklahoma's northeastern region is characterized by cute towns and numerous Route 66 roadside attractions, not to mention lots of lovely lakes. Lake Tenkiller, Keystone Lake, Grand Lake, and Lake Eufaula all offer plenty of opportunities for watersports and outdoor recreation.

Southeastern Oklahoma

Oklahoma's southeast is all about scenery, with nine state parks and plenty of forest land to get out and explore. The region is home to Antlers, the so-called "Deer Capital of the World," where you can learn about the creatures at the Wildlife Heritage Center Museum. If visiting in fall, make sure to take a drive along the 54-mile Talimena National Scenic Byway, which offers opportunities to check out fall colors.
