Nestled just a quarter mile from the entrance of the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, our glamping village sits on a scenic hill behind our cafe, offering stunning views of Mt. Scott and direct access to nearby hiking trails.
We currently feature two glamping wall tents- Zion and Selah, which include a wooden deck and framed queen-size outfitted beds, bistro table and chairs inside creating a cozy, romantic retreat you won't forget. Both wall tents have an Icy Breeze AC cooler available upon request which helps to stay cool while inside the tent. Our hillside location cools down nicely in the evenings with a lovely breeze. We recommend keeping your mesh windows unzipped and open to allow the wind to gently pass through.
Swim at Bath Lake durring the afternoon, chill inside our cafe, or visit our neighbors at the Aquarium....all great ways to stay cool durring the heat of the day!
We have also recently added a new canvas bell tent- Bethany which features two XL heavy duty twin cots with super comfy mattress toppers, bamboo cooling sheets, and full plush bedding.
Our bathhouse includes two private rooms, each equipped with a camping toilet, pump sink, and thoughtful amenities for your comfort. Our outdoor shower will be refreshing after a long hike as well!
We have two standing outdoor grills for your cooking needs. Both on the gravel parking lot level, one by the covered patio, the other by the picnic area. Bring your own charcoal, for easy lighting and convenient cooking. Please remember to leave no trace, use trash recepticles and do not leave any food out for the wildlife.
Bringing a pet? They are very welcome here, however, we now require a $30 pet fee due to additional cleaning and potential damages. Please add this on to your booking.
For those seeking a more rustic experience, we also offer nine primitive walk-up campsites where you can bring your own tent, or request our pre set tent (requires 48 hrs notice).

This 55 acre park is home of a large sandstone that contains 8 markings believed to have been made by Vikings many years ago. Our sites offer both large open areas for vehicles and activities paired with private wooded forest for tents and seclusion. Individual sites are many acres apart designed in such a way that every experience is peaceful and private. We offer maintained camping sites which are easily accessible that come with amenities, in addition to our alternative primitive camping experience for the pros further in the Backwoods. What ever your needs or preference we have a spot for you! We have easy access to two main highways with the nearest Walmart 10 minutes away, not to mention great cell phone coverage for all the main providers at most locations on the property.
A little bit about how we started. Like most of us, we were in desperate need of a place to get away from the bustle and grind of daily life, to slow down, decompress, and destress. This land the universe had waiting for us, gave us just that! It changed our lives and now we are excited to open up this sanctuary to others who share our passion for the great outdoors! Interestingly, each year we find out more about our home, from its Native American prehistory, to its 19th century Civil War conflict, and most recently, a lost article published in the 1940s in the local Oklahoman gazette that enticingly gossips about long lost Buried Treasure!

We loved staying at Marina Del Ray Resort. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. All of the amenities look brand new, clean, and well kept. We rented a brand new tritoon for the day from the owners, and it is so convenient to have access to the dock just down the hill from our RV spot. We've been to so many campgrounds that have a mismatch between the online photos and in person reality. This is not one of them. This truly is a beautiful resort, not just another campground. We will definitely be back!

The hosts were awesome, very welcoming. Gave us an awesome recommendation for a swimming spot. We purchased the firewood and he had a fire all built and ready to light when we got there, which was awesome. The bed was very comfy. We did not end up staying all night because it was too hot on the day we picked, but will likely book another visit for a cooler time.

A great experience - again! Such beautiful land, and we were able to explore into the back areas as well. The composting toilet is a great amenity, as is the new flush toilet and shower! Ash made sure we knew of things close by for entertainment as well as to keep cool, such as the Cushing water park. Although we got hit with a good thunderstorm, Ash also made sure we were alright and let us know what to do in case the weather turned truly dangerous. Overall, Star Valley Acres is a great spot for tent camping, especially with young kids who like to run around :) We will definitely be back again in the fall!

Come rain or shine, Glenn goes above and beyond! Fantastic campsite and an even better host! The property was great, well-maintained, and the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the first day my car broke down and Glenn came and helped me jump my car in the pouring rain!!! and the next time I came he helped with putting a picnic table next to the place I wanted to sit by the water!! from start to finish Glenn made sure we had a great time and left with life long memories. Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance! P.S. Be careful there are snakes!!

Lisa was an incredible host from the very start, communicating clearly to make sure I had perfect directions. During some heavy weather, she went above and beyond by personally welcoming me into her home to ensure my safety, which gave me great peace of mind. The pole barn providing cover was a huge plus, keeping my RV protected. And of course, having the pygmy goats, chickens, and the donkeys next door was an absolute delight—they were so entertaining and added so much character to the experience. It's a wonderful, quiet spot that I'd highly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay on Kathy’s land. The guard dogs are exceedingly friendly creatures. I slept on the ground in a screened bivy tent and during the night when I looked around, the three dogs had positioned themselves around me. I felt very safe lol! You should be aware that the camping area is in the enclosure for the herd of male llamas. They did not bother me at all while I was sleeping however, the most overly friendly one of them did nip my arm when I first arrived. I just made a point of shooing him away after that and there was no further issue.
This was a one night stop for me. I did not use the provided fire pit as it was too hot but noted it was well laid out. The potty is located in a repurposed horse trailer which is open air and I could not find a way to close the door. This was not a problem for me as it faced an open field and was therefore private.
The land is semi-rural and although I did not see neighbors I did hear them and their 80’s jams. Also the camping is right next to a road with intermittent traffic. 8-10 vehicles drove by in the 10 hours I was there…some late at night.
I would return for a one night stop-over should I ever be in the area needing a place to sleep and some serious doggy hugging. I would not return to stay multiple nights. Not private enough for my taste.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The place is beautiful, with incredible outdoor spaces and great hiking areas. Since the property is gated, it felt very safe.
Our dome was comfortable and generally clean, although the refrigerator could have been cleaner. The shower area was also clean and well maintained. The restroom facilities could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness, but they were not bad.
The main concern during our stay was finding ticks. We found ticks not only around the property but also on our bodies and on some of the furniture, which made us paranoic. This was especially concerning because we were traveling with two small children and had to be extra cautious throughout our stay. We understand that this is a nature-based camping/glamping experience, but it might be helpful for management to consider additional pest control or fumigation measures to help reduce it.
Despite this issue, we still enjoyed our stay. The location, the outdoor spaces, and the overall experience were excellent. We would recommend this place, particularly for families who enjoy nature and outdoor activities.

I arrived later into the night and departed prior to the CAFE opening so I was unable to check out the space but, from what I could see this place is pretty special. the colorful artwork and outdoor seating had me envisioning a future visit. My stay was quiet and most importantly, safe.

If you’d rather just play outside, Turner Falls Park and the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in the Arbuckle Mountains offer scenery and camping options.
Northeastern Oklahoma
Oklahoma's northeastern region is characterized by cute towns and numerous Route 66 roadside attractions, not to mention lots of lovely lakes. Lake Tenkiller, Keystone Lake, Grand Lake, and Lake Eufaula all offer plenty of opportunities for watersports and outdoor recreation.
Southeastern Oklahoma
Oklahoma's southeast is all about scenery, with nine state parks and plenty of forest land to get out and explore. The region is home to Antlers, the so-called "Deer Capital of the World," where you can learn about the creatures at the Wildlife Heritage Center Museum. If visiting in fall, make sure to take a drive along the 54-mile Talimena National Scenic Byway, which offers opportunities to check out fall colors. Popular camping areas along the way can be found in the Ouachita National Forest, Talimena State Park, Broken Bend State Park, and the Cedar Lake Recreation Area.
