We had a fantastic stay at The Pond at Hedges Holler. Randi was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process.
The campsite itself was amazing—a beautiful little pond, a great fire pit, and a quiet, serene setting that made it easy to relax and unwind. It was much more enjoyable than a public campground where you never know who might end up camping right next to you.
One of the nicest touches was arriving to find the fire pit already stocked with kindling and firewood. That small detail made for an incredible evening sitting around the campfire without having to worry about gathering or hauling wood.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, private camping experience, I highly recommend The Pond at Hedges Holler. We’ll definitely be back.

Incredibly gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. The spot is super peaceful and quiet. Can’t wait to come back in warmer weather!

I took my daughter here for her first camping trip. It was a great choice with the wide open spaces and she had a great time picking wildflowers and fishing the small pond, despite the dry conditions. The grounds were clean and the sunset beautiful. What’s not to like?

This was absolutely awful. We didn’t even get to stay the night because of the place being COVERED in ticks. Within 20 minutes I found 8 on my legs alone. I’m addition to this, the pond is really a puddle. The water was black and none of us risked trying to swim in it. They also regret to tell you that your in someone’s backyard and visible from the main road. Close enough that I could see and probably hear them if they were around. I don’t know how people enjoyed staying here. Something is very obviously amiss 🤨

The Pond at Hedges Holler
We had a nice time camping at this pond. It is a good spot for a getaway. Did some fishing and some swimming and just enjoyed time together as a family.

Very nice lady and there property is beautiful and very clean and very well maintained. To add to the experience the fishing is very good i recommend live bait night crawlers and red worms wont be long before u hook a crappie or large mouth bass had a great time!

Super clean and well maintained site. The hosts even provided a hay bale screen for the bathroom area. It was exactly what we were looking for, would definitely stay again! There are trains nearby, but the site is much quieter than anything you’d get at a state park.

We had such a great stay! Gorgeous location. very clean, convenient to town (which is really neat and historical), & the host Randi went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We even caught some fish in the pond. Lovely time! Hope to stay again when we are in the area.
