Amazing Farm at Quail Valley
I was looking for an easy spot to take my 5-year-old daughter for her first camping trip, somewhere that felt special but also easy. Instead of the usual state park route, we decided to give The Farm at Quail Valley a try. I was expecting a nice little farm with a few tent spots and some fishing ponds, but what we actually pulled into was a total hidden gem.
This property is easily some of the prettiest land Iâve seen in Kansas. The grounds are so well-kept with the rolling hills and beautiful trees, it felt more like staying in a botanical garden than on a farm.
The Disc Golf course was also a pretty big surprise. I knew there was one on-site and brought my discs along, but I wasn't expecting a course that was ranked #58 in the world in 2022. Itâs the real deal, both in terms of technical difficulty and the terrain. Iâm already planning a return trip just so I can find the time to play the full course.
To top it all off, the hosts were incredible, so kind and very accommodating. If you're looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway thatâs still accessible for kids, this is it.
