Loved our night on Glenns land. We arrived later than expected but finding the spot was easy. Plenty of flat ground. Gorgeous views. Felt perfectly safe and private. At night there was a chorus of frogs by the water which was wonderful to fall asleep to. In the morning there was a nice heard of turkeys roaming which was so cool to see. Id definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back. Glenn came by to check on us in the morning too. Super kind!

Weekend Trip to 4G Ranch at Tipps Lake

We had a great time. The property is not far from Dallas and is definitely our favorite so far. It’s beautiful. I had the chance to catch 13 bass, all a good size, including two surprises that were close to 8 pounds. We named the biggest one Rocky. We will definitely be back. The property is beautiful, easy to access, and large enough to walk around and enjoy outdoor activities. 🎣🌿

Remote . Plenty of land to camp on and plenty of primitive sites to choose from. If I were to come back to the area or Turner Falls, I’d definitely come back to this site.

Weekend Trip to 4R Ranch Winery Campsite

We stayed at 14 and 15 with our group. We loved the mix of sun and shade and the privacy with these sites. Our kids had a blast and everyone has agreed we want to go back. We even got visited by a camp kitty and he was very sweet and we fell in love with him along with the location. The winery had an amazing patio na view and loved the tasting. Honestly the pictures just don’t do the location justice.

Loved getting a break from the city. The trails are nice to walk and maybe bring the dogs. Though I was a bit surprised to see so many people there. We were on the dispersed site, west of creek, and there were about 5 other rigs setup there. Only wished we could have explored more of the property or even the winery.

Weekend Trip to Willow Grey Ranch

A really wonderful place. We met Jamie and her father-in-law, and were able to help feed the horses. The trails down to the lake are very well kept; even with a large 2-person fishing kayak we were able to get down to the water easily with a kayak cart. This is not on the busy end of the lake. We kayaked and fished for 3 hours and saw only one other boat (although it was a very windy day) so peace and quiet was constant. You can't find places like this on a lake without having other campsites right next to you, and Jamie is an absolutely outstanding host who was eager to help with anything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We will certainly keep this site bookmarked.

Very nice place, easy to find easy, to access. Fishing was great caught lots of bass mostly in the 3-5 pound range. Very peaceful would definitely go back.

Lovely private camp site with direct access to lake trails! The host was very nice and accommodating! It was storming the night we arrived and they let us park our van in their large insulated shop. Our dogs also loved running around the big open field and exploring the lake trails. Definitely recommend staying here and we hope to be back again soon!

It was a great spot for tent camping if you want privacy. I could have my dog off leash. They also have a great fire pit plus trails going down to a lake and around the property. Great communication for the very nice owner.

We stayed at campsite #7 we loved the spot so beautiful and quiet. We had an amazing time. We also enjoyed Sunday brunch that was super fun. We got the most delicious bottle of wine! Would love to came here again it was definitely amazing!

My family and I had a great weekend camping at site 15. Everything was clearly marked and well maintained. This site is pretty private although 14 is somewhat nearby. Also has a walking trail going through the back of it but no big deal. Also had the pleasure of meeting Walt on our way to have brunch which was pretty cool. Sherry was our waitress at the winery for brunch and she was exceptional, she also took the time to give us a lot of background on the ranch which was great. My family and I will definitely be back!

The host of the property was very nice, called to help me get to the property, even had offered brunch the next morning, this hospitality is extremely rare in my book, but that’s just the host, let me talk about the site, I chose original tent site 7, it was nice, had a tree in the center and somewhat tucked into the trees, gave just the right amount of a hideaway and open valley that I absolutely loved it. I absolutely love how the site was well maintained, this means not only do the campers have respect for the property, but the host does too. I would definitely consider coming back again. Maybe with a bigger tent because I managed to grab the smallest one I own. The property might be a bit out there, but the scenic drive is a win.

Tipps Point Campground

Nice site, numbering in the sites is very odd in that even if they run numerically next to each other they may not be together. Wasn't much oversight - the site next to us was incredibly loud even after being asked to be quiet by other campers after curfew. They were loud well after 11 at night and no one came to ask them to be quiet. Other than that, if you didn't have a terrible, loud group on the site, this site would be amazing.
