Welcome to Texas Safari Camp
Come escape to a heavily wooded 31 acre pristine wildlife habitat. Only one hour east of Dallas but it feels like another world. At the end of a one lane rock road- this is a very secluded property. It is perfect for tent camping groups and individuals, has a very positive vibe and is more peaceful than most state parks. It adjoins a 950 acre wildlife park with 1200 exotic animals. Many can be seen from the road or you can pay to drive through and feed the animals.
Your host is Randall Oliver. He has been organizing group campouts for years and enjoys hosting, bringing people together and inspiring a love of nature, camping and paddling. Everyone is welcome and campers are treated like family. He can teach your kids to kayak and build a camp fire.
You can fish for largemouth bass, cat, crappy and bluegill in the two ponds and swim, paddle kayaks and paddle boards, hike the jungle trail and socialize around the campfires.
There are no designated campsites. You can camp anywhere except between the green building and the front pond. No vehicles are allowed back on the property. Off road wagons are provided to help haul your gear. Front pond camping areas are 30-100 yards from parking area. The rear pond is more secluded but farther from the parking and outhouse. There are four fire pits around the front pond and one next to the rear pond.
The tiny handcrafted Hummingbird Tree House is perched on an elevated deck overlooking the front pond. and features a queen bed, a bed in the loft for two small kids, electricity, lights, fan, hummingbird stained glass windows, screened operable windows and a screened, operable porthole window in the kids loft. The deck has lights, tables and chairs and outdoor table and chairs and a thatch covered umbrella. There is no heat or AC in the tree house. You must bring your own sleeping bags, blankets and pillows. No food, smoking or pets allowed in the tree house.
There is a rustic outhouse with a modern composting toilet, sink, faucet, lights, soap, etc. and a nearby cold water outdoor shower (no privacy), sink, counter and faucet. Use of firepit and grill, kayaks and paddleboards, rod & reels, hammocks, swinging chair and tire swing is included. Firewood can be purchased $1 per stick

Pastures are mowed three times a year and always look beautiful. There is some
terrain that is rough and the land has not been traveled. Bring machetes and a compass (We are not a rescue team). The land is ready to be loved by our visitors.

One of the special features of the main house is a charming atrium inside, where you’ll find a beautiful tree, a relaxing fountain, and some tables perfect for sitting down in the morning to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee surrounded by nature.
Main House Layout: First Floor: There are two bedrooms with king-sized beds. One of these rooms also has a sofa bed. There's also a TV room with another sofa bed. Additionally, two folding beds are available on this floor.
Second Floor: There is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a pop-up trundle bed (equivalent to two full-size beds). In the living room, there's another sofa bed.
The house is set up to comfortably accommodate three couples, each with two children. There’s a gas barbecue grill and outdoor dining tables — perfect for a small family celebration or a quiet evening meal. Some of the most cherished moments at Infinity Paradise happen at night — sitting outside on the deck in the lakeside kiosk (kioske del lago), watching the stars light up the sky or enjoying the glow of a full moon reflected on the water. And in the early morning, nothing beats a peaceful walk while listening to the birds sing — a perfect way to start the day. We're located just outside the city limits, only 15 minutes from Walmart and other conveniences, so you're never far from anything you might need.

The campsite itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with just the right balance between comfort and nature. Waking up to the fresh air and scenic surroundings was incredibly relaxing. The highlight, of course, was the llamas—they were adorable, friendly, and added such a special touch to the entire stay.
Judy was a fantastic host—kind, responsive, and clearly passionate about what she’s created. She made sure we had everything we needed and offered helpful tips to make the most of our visit.

We had a great time here. The area is beautiful. We loved seeing turtles, frogs, bugs, and Randall’s dog Teddy Bear. Randall was very helpful and friendly. He even brought us some kindling and built up the wood for us while we were out by the pond. Would highly recommend for families! The kids really enjoyed kayaking on the pond as well.

Everything was perfect despite the rain this weekend. This is our 3rd time visiting Llama land ranch and I can’t recommend this place enough for camping. The property now has a pavilion that’s perfect for larger groups, running water, light and new restrooms that were very clean and accessible. We will definitely be back! We stayed at Randall’s camp over Easter weekend and had a great experience.
The property is ideal for group camping. We had six families and never felt crowded, with multiple campsite options that made it easy for everyone to set up comfortably. The balance of open space and shaded areas worked especially well for both kids and adults.
Randall was a wonderful host—responsive, accommodating and clearly invested in making sure guests have a great stay.
The amenities added a lot to the experience. Paddle boards and kayaks were available and well maintained, and having life jackets in a full range of sizes made it easy for everyone to participate. Fishing was a highlight—there were plenty of catches, and several kids caught their first fish, which made it especially memorable.
The property was very clean, and we were pleasantly surprised by the lack of mosquitoes. There’s also a short, easy hike nearby that was perfect for younger kids.
The location is convenient—about 40 minutes from Dallas—making it easy to get there and flexible enough for anyone needing to step away briefly and return.
Overall, this is a well-managed, thoughtfully maintained property with a host who goes above and beyond. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to others.

21 ft travel trailer
We rented a RV site at Llama Land. As I was checking out I noticed the add on extras offered and ordered the charcuterie board. Judy met us at the gate and showed us to our location which had plenty of room for the trailer and a fire pit. It wasn't too far from the electric and water but you may want to have an extra electric cord handy, we didn't need ours. After we got set up she arrived with the most adorable charcuterie board! She had made animal shapes with the snacks! We also got a complimentary small bucket of feed. The llamas were amazing and Very friendly. They absolutely know what's in the bucket! What a relaxing time just enjoying nature. If you are lucky Peanut the cat will curl up in your lap for a while and Harry the dog will also check in on you! An overall amazing time!

Beautiful property. You will get to see and experience nature in such a peaceful place. Randall was absolutely incredible and the best host. The hummingbird house was perfect for a family of 3.

What a great property! Randall was a great host. Me and my sons had a blast! Caught tons of fish, and had the whole place to ourselves. I was worried because this was their first camping trip, but this place was perfect. We also saw tons of deer and ostriches next door at the Zoofari from our campsite.

The Llama Land Ranch was a fun place to go camping. They are constantly expanding the campsites and now adding showers. Campsites are spaced out enough to make you feel secluded. Judy (the host) was super friendly and would stop to make sure everything was going well and if we needed anything. There's a friendly cat that will come see you too. Also her dog Harry! What a polite and well mannered dog! I recommend this campground for couples or big families. They have plenty of space there.

My friends and I had such a wonderful weekend out here!! Judy is amazing, she is kind and very accommodating. 10/10 recommend for anyone who is looking to get away for a couple days.
