We're happy that we can open up our land for campers. We operate a pecan tree nursery and Pecan Orchard. On the south side of the farmhouse is a 80-year-old native pecan tree. You can enjoy wooded walking paths in the 80-acre forest and pastures, ponds and wildlife, including deer, wild hogs, hawks, owls, roadrunners, doves, cardinals, jays, woodpeckers, mockingbirds, and many other species of birds. Small mammals such as armadillos, rabbits, and squirrels are often seen, and the property is also awesome for stargazing. Please watch out for snakes, scorpions, pesky mosquitoes and ticks. This land has been a huge blessing to us and we hope you will enjoy your stay here.

Site 3 - Sandy Ridge Camping
We had a wonderful weekend. The sites are spread far apart and gives the feel of being alone with nature. The forest is tall and nice trails for site seeing. Ingrid was nice and helped us with anything we needed (wood). Welook forward to doing this again. Thanks for having us.

Great spot!
Wonderful campsite! Very close to Canton First Monday. Lots of space. Spot #1 was right next to the pond and we loved walking down to it and fishing. We didn’t get a whole lot of fish, but not sure if that’s more to do with the time of year or the stock in the pond. But still a perfect spot! And the indoor toilet/shower within walking distance was an added luxury! Definitely recommend!

Perfect "home base" for my visit
This was the perfect place to crash for a few days while visiting my kids and car camping with my dogs. The clearing was lovely and spacious, plenty of room for the dogs to run. Even though it is just minutes from the main roads, it felt very secluded. Hosts were friendly. I loved sitting by the fire at night and listening to the night sounds of the forest, my own little slice of wilderness. I will absolutely stay here again next time!

Site 2 - Sandy Ridge Camping
This was the first camp trip with my dog and the site was perfect. Plenty of open area to enjoy and paths to take with your pet. Was able to enjoy an amazing full moon and lots of time with my dog during my stay. If being level applies to your setup, I found you will have to level up to 6 degrees in some areas. Will definitely return to this location.
